It was a few days before her 18th birthday, Savannah wouldn't listen to her father's warning about walking through the forests alone with without an escort. She sighed and snuck out to go to her favorite place to relax with a book, she had been reading for the passed few days.

Mikhail would tell her there was no need to stick her nose in books as it wouldn't do any good after she was married to her life mate. Savannah turned her nose up at the idea of being some warriors mate. She didn't want to be stuck with being mated at her age and wanted to see the world first.

Savannah shook her head and gave a soft chuckle as she walked through the dark forest bare footed to the waterfalls which his a cave. Carefully she stepped into the cave and gently lit a fire to warm the place out. After many months of hard work, Savannah finished making the cave into her home from home by adding little comforts.

Sitting down in her plush soft chair and began to relax, her eyes grew heavy as she fell asleep with her book upon her lap.

Tenkai not wanting to be around people, although he was being told that he would need to marry some woman that was a princess. He wrinkled his nose at the idea of some girly girl, the make up and clothes and such, just thinking about it, made him disgusted. He didnt want to marry anyone right now, right now he wanted to gain knowledge and travel, discover new things in the world. Tenkai annoyed at his adoptive father and the others, always trying to get him out of the family so the didnt have to deal with an orphan. His adoptive mother allowed him to do as he pleased, which made him happy.

He left the first of the family room, he then walked out of the front door, and went to his favorite tree, and climbed up onto the tree trunk, he sat down. His hair hanging over his left shoulder, as the wind blew, making it fall, and wave around in the air. 

Feeling a bit tired, he closed his eyes. He felt a presence, someone pretty close, but they seem to be unconscious. He decided to use his powers, the power of dream walking. So as he closed his eyes, he felt for her mental state and felt that the person's shield was down. He prepared a dream for what seemed to be a like a womans presence. He made the ocean exist in it, and he had a beach appear. He also made some trees appear. He wore white pants and a white like robe. His hair was white as snow. His eyes aqua green and aqua blue mixed. His skin dark, and the robe was open. Showing off his muscles, his long hair blew in the wind. He made the dream appear for her as he stood there, looking at her. His horns was in a crown, the normal whites of his eyes was black. 

His robe was long, it extended out onto the sand, as the wind blew his robe and hair, in waves like the ocean. His crown went of flowers and jewels kind of went in front of his horns and connected to it a little. He extended his hand out to her a little, his finger nails were a bit long, almost like a vampire, but he wasn't exactly a vampire. He looked at her softly, as he took two steps towards her.

"Miss..what are you doing in my territory..you are lucky I found you, and not something or any other being..." He spoke softly, just loud enough for her to hear him.

He then looked over at the trees, he looked to be like he was made by gods, most people feared him, others envied him, some disliked him. But she was the first outside of family to see him. 

Slipping deeper into her dream, Savannah found herself walking along the beach with her shoes in her hand. The gentle breeze blowing through her ebony hair, dressed in a thin white dress that wrapped around her ankles. It was peaceful away from her parents prying eyes, where she felt closed in with all the politics of dealing with hunters and rogue warriors.

Savannah's mother kept telling her husband to ease up on their daughter knowing he was protective of her, but each morning Savannah would run off to her hiding place and each night she would get the third degree on where she was. Then finding out she was promised to be married to some jumped up spoilt brat of a prince belonging to another family.

Savannah walked down by the waters edge and felt her feet wet as the water lap over her toes, singing softly to herself. Unaware of anyone watching until she heard a voice behind her. Turning around to face a stranger with hair of white as snow, she licked her lips nervously letting her eyes study the man before her. Feeling her heart pound deep within her chest as she thought oh how handsome he looked before her and felt sad that this was just a dream.

Taking a deep breath before replying "This territory belongs to my father, Sir. I have every right to come down and walk along the beach to think" as she slowly walked towards him with a soft sway of her hips.

He bent walked towards the water slowly, as he looked over at her, giving her a a weird look, he made a map appear. He would be gentle with her, keeping a soft gentle tone with her.

"See over here is the carpathian mountains, and in the middle is the waterfalls and forest, that is mine. And on the other side if property of my adoptive fathers. I allow beings of all species to come through here, including carpathians. My real parents were born on these lands, my real parents gave the carpathians the mountains as a gift, because the carpathians had traditions of hunting and had no room to do so.. and the forest and beach was gifted to me my my real parents..I have owned this place for a very long time." He spoke softly as he bent down and began to play with the water that came up with the tide.

To him, she was beautiful, she didnt seem like all those other girls that his adoptive father wanted him to marry. Although he rarely showed himself, but for this girl, he was almost curious. 

He stood up, and took a few steps towards her, almost wanting to touch her, he stopped before he made another step. 

"As I said earlier, you are lucky I found you, but most tend to just use my path to get from nation to nation. Although there are some that don't follow my rules here, so I would ask that you becareful." He spoke so softly. 

He thought of her special some how, and he didnt know why, but he felt she was royal among the carpathian ranks. He gave her a sad smile, as he without thinking touched her soft cheek. As if she were a royal, he kissed her forehead and both of her cheeks. He then started to walk towards the three and caught a petal that was falling down.

She crouched down to look at the map into water as she wiggled her toes in the cool crisp water. Her hair dropped over her shoulder as she took a sneaky glance over at him. "But I have been going to the falls for months and never once saw you, Sir"

He wasn't like any of the warriors of her own people and she found herself curious about this stranger. She found herself longing for him to touch her cheek as her heart began to beat faster within her chest. Savannah reached out her hand as the water rose higher over the map, turning upon her heel and walks up the beach to sit on soft sand.

Reaching down her hand letting the sand run through her fingers as she bit into her bottom lip finding herself going all warm in the cheeks watching him closely. Thinking to herself that she must ask her father of who owns this area of land.

"My father Mikhail would have search parties out for me if he ever thought of me sneaking off the waterfalls" she replied as she tilted her head towards him. Her eyes glowing a soft violet as if to studying him before looking away invade he saw her.

"I rarely make an appearance, my family and Mikhail, and his wife and some family friends are the only ones who know what I really look like." He spoke softly, as he extended a hand to up to the tree.

He felt a change in her, he could tell she was watching, just as curious as he was of her. He turned to look at her, pretending not to notice. He then let his hand drop, as he then raised a hand, making a halo of jasmine and pink flowers, appear in her hands. "Than this shall be our little secret, anytime you come here just call me and I will be protecting you in hiding. I will soon have a treaty made with your father..infact, my father is holding a party for one of mikhails daughters I hear..so the treaty will be arranged there." He spoke softly. 

He then gave a smile, showing off his sabor tooth fangs, and his dimples, he rarely smiled for anyone, except his baby sister and adoptive mother. He held out his hand as a jewel like emblem appeared in his hand. "Here, this should help you with safe travels...since you are of carpathian..this should be an example that I only wish for peace of the tribes, beautiful people. Since they are of my bloodline. They should be protected. Am I right?" He said as he slowly walked to her, his feet bare, his muscles shown through the opening of his long robe. 

He stood before her and bent down to her level, as he offered her the gift. "Let's just say this is the second I gave out, Mikhails wife has one, anytime she squeezes it, I can come to her aid no matter where she is..I promised, and your father seemed to be more at ease to let his wife travel by herself." He spoke softly, pausing and he looked back at the water shaking his head.

"Oh Uhm, when you wake the two gifts will be on your lap, I have feeling the crown will match your dress for the party that you will attending..anyway just squeeze the jewel and I will come to your aid, at any time, and it isn't a one time use." He said as he winked. 

Savannah looked away as she felt him watching her a warm blush rose up her cheeks. Feeling the sweet scented flowers in her hands, she noticed that they were her favorite ones and smiled softly as she placed them upon her head. Brushing her long black hair back from her sparkling blue eyes.

"Thank you Sir, they are beautiful and my favorites." She summoned the wind to swirl around before her as if to make a sandcastle with her mind. "How did you know my father was having a ball tonight?" Tilting her head again as she saw his muscles under his jacket, lowering her eyes away from him. Her heart threatened to leap from her chest, Savannah felt the strange pull from him as he leaned closer with the jewel. He placed it in her hand as her breath hitched slightly.

Looking down at the jewel as she rubbed it gently between her thumb and forefinger. Slowly she started to fade before his eyes and wake up from her dream, the stranger was right. The gifts he gave her was in her lap and the fire had died to a glowing embers.

"Because my adoptive father is the one holding the ball silly, anyway you should be safe with that in your hands." He said giving her another smile.

Seeing her blush, he engraved it in his mind, she was beautiful, her eyes changed colors like his. They must be similar in some way. Seeing her fade, from the dream, he left the dream as well, appearing before her. 

He stood there in the grave, he looked the same as he did in the dream, but now it was turning into the morning, his eyes looked at her as she was waking up, he had out a blanket on her. 

Letting his voice become an echo like, "Remember Princess, always have that jewel with you, it will keep you safe..you will see me again princess, I promise." He said, as he started to disappear before her. 

As he disappeared, he smiled, and went to visit his adoptive mother for a bit and attend to his schedule. As he appeared in his adoptive parents castle, his adoptive mother was waiting for him at the breakfast table. 

"Tenkai, my sweet boy, how was your time in the forest on the lands your mother gave you..before she disappeared?" His adoptive mother asked.

"Mother, it was great, I love there..I was wondering after the party is over if u could get started on building my own place of living there..and build up a city there." He said as she looked a bit happy.

"Good boy, you are coming of your own, the more quicker you break away from this family the better..your parents had me hold onto this land for you, to ensure you surive." His adoptive mother said.

"Thank you mother..by the way what's for breakfast?" He said wrinkling his nose and she laughed.

"Come sit, its fruit today, I want to hear all about your adventure this time." 

"I met a carpathian princess, mom she was so gorgeous, but I wouldnt dare marry her, she is too good for me.. i hope i see her at the princess's birthday part, that dad is holding for one of mikhails daughter." He said as his adoptive mother laughed.

He blinked at her, "My good sweet boy, how did you meet her?" His adoptive mother asked.

"Well, she was in my land, and unconscious, so I wanted to make sure she was alive..and I entered her dream, she likes jasmine's and flowers, she likes going to my land, so I wanted to give her a gift like I gave mikhails wife." He said, as he picked up a strawberry and ate it.

"You did well, good, since you are initiating the treaty and making an alliance, this looks good on your behalf, although your true intentions are protecting that girls..either way you will be looked at at a good person."  His adoptive mother said. 

"Yes, but mother please dont tell ..she could get into trouble, let her tell her father on her own time." He said as his adoptive mother nodded.

"Yes, if we told, she might hate us, and the treaty might end up a bit on shakey grounds, and we dont need that." Se said, as she took a bit of a blue berry.

Tenkai felt the morning breeze blowing his hair around a bit, he looked out the window, and smiled, remembering the dream, he couldn't wait to go to a formal gathering for the first time in ever.

Savannah woke from her dream with tired eyes as she tried to focus on the man before her. Looking down at the blanket over her legs "who are you mysterious stranger?" She managed to say as she watched him vanish before her and sighed softly.

Slowly she got up from the chair and picked up the flower crown in her one hand and placing the jewel in her pocket to keep safe. Making her way out of the cave, she saw her fathers second in command Gregori and Lucian with their arms crossed.

"where the fuck have you been?  Your father has been worried Savannah, I could swear I saw the vein in his neck bulge out when he couldn't find you back at the house"  Lucian said sternly.

​​​​​​Savannah walked towards them both and glares "For one thing Lucian, you are not my father so stop acting like him. Two,  I am fed up of being watched all the time, I was suffocating being locked up at home. I need air its alright for you you can change into any animal you want but I can't. I come down here to relax and not after worry about my birthday and the fact that father wants me to marry someone I haven't met.

She ran off through the forest towards the home and to face her fathers pep talk on how to behave like a princess.

As Tenkai was eating his adoptive father came in, giving him an evil look as he and his mother got all hush hush and he snorted, he then finished his breakfast. He got up and just ignore the man, as his adoptive father suddenly reached out and grabbed him. Tenkai gave him a look of evil and and powerful like, as the man slightly let him .

"Tenkai, we need to talk." He said as Tenkai pulled away and crossed his arms 

"Talk..please if it has anything to with you trying to suddenly be my father, then by all means, just give it up, I mean everyone knows you dont like my little sister and I..and everyone knows if you can kill us you would..but we all know you wouldnt succeed because we are out of your league...Aya plays your silly father like wanna be games, but I wont pretend with you." He said, as his guard came up next to him.

"Tenkai, you are a prince you need to act like it, you have a marriage proposal to think about, stop going off to play around." He yelled accusing Tenkai of being a playboy.

"Hahahaha" Tenkai laughed without humor.

"What is so funny? Did I make a joke?" He said as his adoptive motheraughed with Tenkai.

"No..well yes, you said something's very wrong, after all it's because of me you are even able to dine with Mikhail, and even are able to make an allience..second, I have somethings of my own to attend to, I wont be taking over your throne..your own children will be doing that..thirdly, I will attend the party, but for you, it's because of my own selfish reasons. And after this party, I'm leaving..that's plain and simple." He said, as he made the breeze move around them, moving his hair. 

He walked off towards the library, annoyed at his father, as he walking away he could hear the rest of the family joking them. He felt his personal guard next to him. "Tenkai, I know you hate him, but you must play along and be patient..please for the sake of your mother." He said as Tenkai entered the library, feeling no one around.

"The only reason I stay, is for the sake of my mother and sister..I could care less of what happens after that." He said harshly. 

"Alright, then go on about your studies, but here pretty soon you will have to get ready for the birthday ball soon." His guard said, as Tenkai nodded.

Tenkai sat in the old chair, next to the fire and picked up his book and began to read. Studying, he almost couldn't concentrate. He thought about that beautiful princess, he hoped he would be able travel the world with her.

She returns to her room and changes for breakfast waiting for her father to yell through the mind link they had. Savannah stepped out of her room a few minutes later and walks downstairs to the office. Lifting her hand she knocked gently in hope that it wouldn't be heard.

"Enter Savannah" her father bellowed in worry and anger as she slowly entered the room to see her mother and Gregori  waiting for her. Mikhail walked over and hugged his daughter knowing Gregori  had already spoken to him.

"Father, please forgive me" looking up at her father "I feel like if I am suffocating all the time being stuck in the house. I go to relax in my hiding place to study in peace and quiet."

"I know my daughter and I ain't cross with you for wanting space. Yes its hard with all the preparations for your birthday but it is a special one for when you become a woman and coming into your powers" he replied as he kissed the top of her head.

"Father tell me, who owns the waterfalls not far from her?" She replied as she described the mysterious man she encountered in her dream.

"That's the prince who will be attending the ball tonight"

As lunch came maids brought a small lunch for him in the library. He just say there and wrote some notes on how his own father ruled and went about in strategy. He noticed that his father had mostly peace, but faught with his adoptive father on a lot of things. He realized his adoptive fathers brought should have taken over instead of his adoptive father. Tenkai shook his head as he nibbled on part of a piece of cold meat, and wrote down his own ideas on how he wanted to do something like his father. 

He ate half of his lunch and wasn't really all that hungry in the first place,  but he would be hungry at the ball tonight, as he went back to ready some new stuff and writing his own strategies. He looked up and saw that his plate and such was gone. He shrugged as he saw a cup of tea was replaced, he smiled, as he took a sip and went back to his own writing and such. 

He then suddenly heard the library door being opened, as he quietly did his homework, he listened for any noises and heard his middle twin sisters coming and giggling, constantly, he set down his writing utensil, right before they made it to where he was sitting he disappeared. He heard the gasp, ssing he was gone, but he stood next to the book shelves that was close to his chair. Seeing one of them touch his notebook, his guard appeared as he slammed a book closed. 

"You two, do you ever shut up? This library is for studying..the fact that you came in here to disturb others, and touching other people's things, makes me wonder what you two are up..Prince Tenkai is busy studying..if you two dont want anything or you aren't studying quietly, then please leave." He ordered as Tenkai appeared with a book to save his ass.

He stepped out looking at the book, reading through, as the girls gasped, they were already shaken by his guards scare, but for Tenkai to show up, in person was a bit scary for them. 

"Tenkai, our friend and as well as us need your help with calligraphy, and our a few other studies." Ashley said, he looked up st the both of them, with an eyebrow raised. 

"As if, you get special tutoring, plus normal class teacher, so please dont lie to me..if you are trying to get me to go out with your friend or trying to get information for father, you will be very unsuccessful..ease go back, just because I'm not your blood brother doesnt mean I'm not your brother, not interested ladies." He said as he slammed a book shit and appeared at his books in front of the girls.

"Ugh, why do you always get special treatment while we get crap." Lisa groaned, Tenkai rolled his eyes.

"Oh my dear little sisters, you have so much to learn about your father, if you think I get an special treatment, you are severely mistaken, the only thing I get is a kick in the ass, and unfair judgement..now go back ladies before your big brother makes you." He said coldly as he took a step towards them, the gasped and ran out there as his second older brother laughed at the girls.

Tenkai picked up his stuff as lex and Aya appeared, he wrinkled his nose and disappeared, as they sighed. He didnt want to bother, he appeared in his room. And went to go get cleaned up for tonight. 

Her eyes widened as her father spoke of the man that she had seen in her dream. Gregori grinned and looked at Mikhail. As Raven frowned at her husband as she took Savannah to get ready for her ball.

"Looks like she met the young man, Gregori" he laughs as his second in command joins in.

"I think she has, Mikhail. I saw what looked like him close by the cave that she loves to go to. Savannah thought we wouldn't find out about the place as its the same one Raven goes too when she is stressed" Gregori replied as he heads towards the door.

"Go tell the warriors to prepare for the ball, I want everyone to enjoy themselves with their mates tonight and celebrate my daughters birthday" Mikhail ordered as he got up and heads towards the stair case that led up to his room.

In Savannah's room, Raven sat her daughter down in front of the mirror and gently brushed her long hair slowly. 

"You do know your father loves you my angel and wants you protected at all costs." She spoke softly as she  curls the hair into soft waves before placing the crown of jasmine and pink flowers upon her daughters head, smiling softly. "I know this young man, angel as he saved me too along time ago when that rogue warrior hurt your father. I was carrying you at the time"

Savannah turned to face her mother and smiled softly "who is he? Momma as I have never met anyone like him before. I find myself curious and drawn to him for some reason" standing up and dropping her robe, as Raven helped her with the dress of deep purple with flecks of gold flowing through it" one thing she hated was the corset that tightened up at the back.

"All I know angel is that he is special and very handsome as you already know this" Raven chuckled as she heard Mikhail growl in her mind.

Tenkai came out of the bath, he wrapped a towel around his waist, he began to quickly get dressed. Putting on his blue puffed out pants, and then his shirts and such, and he he put on his long bluish gold over all robe like coat it was to be left open. He put on his bluish gold crown and his ankle bracelets. His feet bare. His robe like coat was long, he wore the necklace that his real mother gave him.

He then did up his hair, and it was white blending into a blue and then into a purple. He had intricate braids in his hair, it was extremely long and curly, it fit his crown. His adoptive mother knocked on the door. 

"Come in mother." He said, knowing it was her already.

"Wow you look nice as always, I hope you will enjoy yourself, I know you hate these types of gatherings but, please for me enjoy yourself." His adoptive mother spoke gently, almost pleading.

"I will try mother, no promises." He said as she sighed. 

"Alright it is time, let's go." She said, as they left his room.

Hearing everyone was already gone before them, he sent his mother and sisters a head of him, he had his own way of getting there. 

"Tenkai, I dont see her yet, just stay where you are..I'm sure she wi be here soon..by the way sir are you playing with arrows?" His guard whispered in his mind.

"Yes, I'm bored..what of it?" He spoke back, he could tell his guard was teasing him.

"Are you that bored? Or that interested in the girl from earlier?" His guard whispered back.

"Well, she was a woman I could see myself with." He whispered back softly. 

"Ahem..sir not to interrupt you..but...from the way you discribed, she is here and looking beautiful." The guard said.

Tenkai suddenly started to disappear from his family empire and into the carpathian ball room. As he appeared, before everyone, making an appeared just for the princess. Showing respect to Milhail, and his wife. 

"Hello, it is good to see you again, as promised I would make an appearance for your daughters balls. And for the treaty, between my people and of your people, just as my father would have wanted. I follow mothers and fathers wishes to the T..after all. Noviel and Amelia would have wanted this." He said speaking if his real parents and everyone gasped. 

Showing himself for the first time, making everyone gasping at him in awe, wondering how Mikhail got him to show himself. 

"I dont know what your rules and laws are about presenting blades and such but, my mother wanted me to present a sword along time ago before she died..the princess that I deemed worthy of this gift, it was made by her own hands..from the fires of the woods and the ice of the oceans along the beach of the exact same forest. If it is alright I would I like to give this to her." He spoke gently, just loud enough for them to hear. 

His voice soft, the sword and the sheath is was in was of his mother and fathers lands, the colors and love. He wouldnt give it out to just anyone. "I also have the paintings of my lands that I hear, you alike so much dearly, including princess." He spoke as he showed a painting of the exact same scene that he and the princess had of earlier.

She could hear the music downstairs as she stood on the top step. Looking down at the people arriving just to see her on her special day as Gregori walked up beside her. "I can't do this, my nerves are all over the place and I can hear my heart beat so fast as if it is going to explode" she said shakily as she looked up at her escort to the ballroom.

"calm down, Savannah. Things will be fine they came to celebrate your special night with you and besides I won't let anyone hurt you" he replied and held out his hand to her.

Savannah took his hand and gently lifted her dress slightly with a rustle of soft fabric from her ankles and walks down towards the ballroom. Lifting her head she spotted her father looking very handsome in his suit of deep royal blue and white crisp shirt. Her mother stood beside him wearing her deep red gown much like her own with a pendant around her throat that her father gave to her on the birth of their daughter.

They were speaking with someone who didn't know as Gregori noticed her slight curiosity before leading her over to Mikhail and Raven. Savannah pulled his arm back slightly "please Gregori I can't do this" turning on her heel and walked over to the patio. Trying to calm herself as she felt for the jewel in her glove and bit her lip.

He then looked up the others gasped in awe as her, he looked we feeling the gem was being touched but not squeezed, he raised a brow, seeing her nervousness. He sent her a wave a calmness to her so she could present herself.

He saw as others were looking at him, "You must be the prince, our people know of your name in our history books. So what do you hope for in the future prince?" A woman asked as his sister Aya took her away from there and talked to her. 

Seeing the princess, she looked beautiful, just like her mother, her mother walked up to Tenkai, his eyes widened at he gave a slight bow to her. "Prince, or should I say My lord? I owe you a thank you for keeping out people a live and allowing us to can alliances and aiding us in our travels." She said, he felt a bit out of place.

"It was my pleasure, after all, your people have given me warmth when no one else would...I assume you still have the emblem?" He said as they looked between each other and she nodded. 

"Haha good, I hope in the future we can make great friends among our peoples and and both of our ranks." He said as he bowed. 

Savannah turned her head and felt the strangers presence within the room, her mind began to calm slightly. Her escort guided her over to her fathers side as she heard her mother speaking to someone who was the prince. Taking her fathers arm as she felt warmth to her cheeks and her eyes widened. It was the man from her dream but how he couldn't be real as her father tapped her hand gentle.

"Savannah, let me introduce the prince from the place you visited this morning" he leant in and whispered into her ear teasingly "yes, I know of the cave behind the waterfalls and can understand now."

Her face warmed again as she held out her hand to the man "Greetings, my lord. I thank you for coming here tonight" she bit her bottom lip nervously as the butler came over with drinks upon a tray, Savannah gently took a glass and took a sip of the red wine. Her father placed his big hand over hers to calm her.

"My angel, your heart is pounding in my head you need to calm down" placing a soft kiss to her head

He felt her walking to mwards him, he felt a bit taken a back from the sudden politeness. He gave a soft smile, seeing she had on the crown he had given her. His eyes widened, and then went back to normal, he gave a soft chuckle at her reaction towards him. 

"Ah nice to you Savannah, you just call me Tenkai without the formalities." He spoke softly, feeling just as nervous as her. 

Not how how nervous he was, he was suddenly reminded of the gifts he was giving her as a gift. "Oh uh, I was just telling your father I hope you like the gifts..and that i hope I'm not breaking any laws with one of them." He spoke softly trying to make everyone feel comfortable.

His guard handed her the sword, that was made by his mother from his land. And the paintings of his land, the scene they had dream of. He bowed his head to her, as he then took a step back. Suddenly some one pulled him back, even though he was a strong man, he was still taken by surprised as he stumbled a bit. 

"Oh my, who are you to talk to the Royal carpathian family." A woman slapped him. 

He put a hand gently to his now stinging cheek, felt blood in his mouth, he raised a brow in confusion, he didnt say word, as the girl was going to slap him again. "Little lady you are of carpathian but, you have no right to hit royal blood..you need to open your eyes all of you.."An old being said, as he bowed to Tenkai. 

"Just who does this prince wanna be?" The woman said.

"This Lord Tenkai, your ancestor, man who started your bloodlines so long ago...Be sides he is a guest of the princess and of his royal highness you just might be in trouble little girl."Old being stayed within the shadows, but his voice was easy for everyone to hear in the ball room.

Tenkai sighed, he didnt want to show off, as he touched his cheek, it was starting to heal, he then started to turn away and Milhails wife, Savannahs mother stopped him gently. 

Stepping in front of the woman as her eyes darkened slightly, grabbing the offending hand that slapped Tenkai. " I suggest you leave right now as you offend me with your disrespect and insults to my family. If I ever find you near my home again woman, I will have you skinned in the sunrise over the mountains. Do you understand me?" She squeezed the woman's hand to the point she heard her cry out in pain, summoning Gregori and Lucian to come and escort the vile woman out of the home.

Savannah turned to face the prince "I apologize for that vile woman, I have no idea she was coming tonight" she held out her hand to him and smiled softly "please to make your acquaintance Tenkai, thank you for your beautiful gifts"  hearing the band play a soft song "come dance with me"

Looking up at her father as he smiled at his daughter with pride and joy. Holding his hand out to his mate to join him to dance as he placed a hand upon her back gliding her around the room.

Tenkai watched the princess stand for him, he felt a better about her threats as revenge, he gave her smile, as she apologized to him and making him feel a bit better, getting revenge for him. "No that's alright, thank you by the way, you are the first to get revenge for me." He said softly. 

His cheek felt better, it healed instantly. Then saw her watching her parents and the others dance, and he watching his own family dance. He held out her hand to her, he wanted to dance wit her. "Will you dance with my, Savannah, it would be my honor to dance with you." He spoke humbly, as if he were common folk.

He felt so nervous, but he wouldnt let it show, thank heavens his hands weren't sweating from all the butterflies in his stomach. He heard the other females in awe at how he was respectful and treasured the princess. He looked at the dance, and back at her with a smile, the same one he had given her in the dream. His hair surrounded him a bit, it wasn't fully white, it blended with blue that turned into a purple. He thought she was the most gorgeous woman as t the ball. He was so nervous that he could hear and feel his own heart beat. It felt like a long second before she answered him.
