Alexander Hamilton was proud to open the doors to his establishment.  An Apartment building that offered peace and tranquility to People that wanted to come home and leave their troubles at the door.  He sat in the Jefferson room drinking a whiskey.  He recalled telling George many times that after dealing with Thomas Jefferson he often found himself with a drink in his hand after every encounter.

He watch as the doormen greeted everyone that walked in.  The ladies at the front desk as professional as they came and the bellhops running to take the luggage and assist in any way they could within reason.   He knew that he had the best secruity around they were licensed to carry firearms and there was a three man team on each floor 24 hours aday posted at each entry point of each floor.   This was well spent money and only the wealthy could afford this.

It was late. Very late. The flight into Detroit had been delayed multiple times and all GuyWhoReturned wanted to do was find somewhere to knock himself out for the night.

He'd heard of a new apartment complex opening up and figured this was a good spot to have somewhere to come back to while he did his business throughout the city. Wandering through the doors, he let his entourage take care of the check-in details as he wandered up the stairs. He entered into the wrong hallway before his buddies quickly turned him around the correct way.

He thanked his bodyguards for helping him out and handed one a rather large stack to hand out, before opening the door to his room and immediately passing out on the bed.

It had been a very long day.

He was in the kitchen making sausage, rice and peppers with onions.  He had dinner rolls ad white wine.  He had his radio on and enjoying the night.  He had much to think on and wanted to relax while he could.   Days since his last operations.  He wanted to think about the next task.  The food was done and he made his plate and sat placed a napkin on his lap, prayed over his meal and ate.

The night felt young, as did the man zooming on to the scene. He was very familiarized with the trade routes from Chicago to Detroit and felt completely at ease the entire time that he had been travelling. The trip was, who would have guessed it, unbelievably fast. Zoom recently had been making the trip between The Windy City and The Motor City during what he considered to be of one of his "shorter" jogs; which he had been attempting to squeeze in among all of the nefarious drug sales and connection making that the life of crime entailed.

It seemed absurd to him - the length that most people considered to be a decent workout. A few miles tops and these people were unable to continue! In a rare moment of losing himself within thought, Zoom overshot one of his favored nooks that he had intended on going to and found himself taking a look around at what he immediately ascertained to be the Business District.

Not one of the places that he was very familiar with; the area of the city wasn't exactly the most well maintained - though lately it had gained an underground reputation for being a secure place to stash a getaway apartment for emergencies or for the nights that you just cannot be damned with the Mrs' nagging tones.

Zoom could clearly see the benefits of having additional locations in which he could conduct business, locations that were slightly farther away from his main abode. A wise man had once instilled upon him the values of, as the man had phrased it, "not shitting where we eat". The crudeness of the statement did not lessen the value and with that in mind Zoom walked in to a business that he would soon know was named, Cadillac Apartments.

Zoom made an intentional effort to walk at a 'normal' speed as he approached the front counter in the Lobby.

Hercules Mulligan looked at the young man standing at the desk and handed him an application for a lease to rent an apartment.  Then he told the young man that if everything checks out you will be given a call and an Apartment based from what he was applying for.   Hercules asked the young man his name and he replied Zoom.  Mulligan then gave James a nod who they when to see Hamilton.  Hamilton was reading a news paper in the lobby with a few of his private security members.

He was sitting on the couch reading a book and thinking about his youth, how his mother looked at him when he set sail to America, how she gave him 34 books and how he read everyone.  He thought about the trading post he ran and the boat ride that brought him.  He looked at the news paper on his table the head lines read mobster shot dead in the streets.  Detroit was a wild town and growing fast.  He walked into his kitchen and made a glass of ice water and then sat at the kitchen table and said a prayer for his mother and siblings.

Dawn wanted to be closer to Downtown and decided to move and take an apartment at Alexander-Hamilton ‘s Cadillac Apartments.  She made an appointment with Hercules Mulligan that afternoon to discuss obtaining one.

When Dawn arrived at the apartment Mr. Mulligan gave her a tour of the premises and she was very pleased with what she witness.   She decided on a 2 bedroom apartment.  She decided to take the apartment that was vacant on the 7th floor.  Seven was a lucky enough number for her.

They went back downstairs to finalize the paperwork and Dawn asked if Alexander was around and Mr. Mulligan told Dawn that no he was still out of town.  Dawn told him to let Alexander know that she had leased an apartment.

Dawn sat in The Jefferson Lounge while she waited for the delivery service to arrive with her furniture.  When they arrived they helped her unpack everything and set up the furniture in her apartment.  They were very professional and in a matter of no time everything was unpacked and nicely set up.

When Hamilton arrived back into the motor city he was approched by Mulligan and told that a very attractive woman going by the name of Dawn_ was now living in the Hotel on the seventh floor.  She rented a two bed room an had asked about him.  Hamilton was excited and was hoping to catch up with her.  He asked Mulligan if he sent her, her bottle of Champagne welcoming her to the Aartments?  Mulligan chuckled and walked away.  Hamilton shouted good man as the door closed, he knew that Mulligan was a man that paid attention to details and would never drop the ball on whatever he was running.  Hamilton sent a second bottle with a note.

"Hello my dearest Dawn, I wanted to take a second to thank you for selecting Cadilac Apartments as your home in Detroit.  I would truly appreciate your assistance in bringing talented shows in our Jefferson Lounge.   Whenever you have a moment, and on a personal level I hope to see you a bit more when you are not flying all over the world.   Yours truly A. Hamilton."

When Dawn walked into the lobby of her apartment building she ran into Hercules Mulligan the General Manager.  He asked her if she was enjoying her apartment and if there was anything that she needed.  Dawn told him her apartment was lovely and yes she was enjoying living there when she was in town.  She told him if the prefect downtown location.  Mr. Mulligan told her that he was sure Alexander-Hamilton would very please to hear she was satisfied.  He also told her he notice that she was away for long periods of time and that they did have a hospitality staff which included maid service if she ever needed that type of service.  Maybe she needed someone to water her plants or do some light housekeeping for her.  Dawn thanked him for letting her know about the service and might just take him up on it.

Dawn went up to her apartment kicked off her shoes in the parlor, placed her purse and briefcase on the desk in the little business area she created. She went into the kitchen squeezed some lemons and made a pitcher of lemonade, sat down and opened the sandwich she had just purchased from the deli next door.

Alexander-Hamilton hadn’t seen each other in a while but talked on the phone pretty often.  Things were still going well.  She felt with her residing in Chicago now she would probably see him more often.

There was a couple of things on her agenda that she needed to do, didn’t want to get to relaxed so she hopped in the shower, dressed sat down a minute and decided which way she would head first.

Kafka never thought he'd reach a point where he needed multiple homes in the key cities where his crew did a lot of business. But when he found himself making frequent stops of sizeable length in Detroit, he finally caved and decided to get an apartment. He'd have been satisfied with something small and discreet, but given the bodyguards that travelled with him and the need for a certain level of security at all times, that meant looking for something far more upscale.

As he walked through the doors of the Cadillac Apartments building, he realised his source hadn't steered him wrong in the slightest. The interior was tasteful and he could see security personnel placed discreetly at key points. So far, so good. He gestured for his bodyguards to wait in the lobby while he walked up to the front desk.

"Hey, can you get someone to show me both kinds of apartments you have as well as the other facilities here? Oh, and if you could let your boss know someone from the same business has stopped by, that'd be great," he said quietly.

Following his dinner with LouisVuitton, Ennio took greater efforts to do business outside of restaurants. He was becoming paranoid. He sat with a classy lady outside the Cadillac Apartments. What must have looked like a romantic tryst was actually a plan to kidnap her husband.

"Mrs... Smith.. if you want your husband back, then why pay the money to have him taken, just to scare him?"

Her lip was tight and firm, "I don't want him back", as she fought back the tears, "He's a terrible man."

Ennio listened and allowed her time to compose herself. For a minute, he was glad that he never married. He did not have time for this drama in his life. Just when things were getting more busy and more successful, all he wanted to do was take a step away.

"The rates for that sort of.. help.. is much more"

"I have it. I will pay whatever it takes"

"Alright, well, it's not my special thing, but I have a friend, who will be in touch. You will call him Mr Rom. He's young but a resourceful man, not like other thugs his age. He will.. support you. Wait for him to contact you."

"Here we are Miss" the cabby told Dawn as they pulled up in front of the Cadillac Apartments.  She reached in her purse pull out a hundred dollar bill, handed to the cabby and told him to keep the change.  Excitedly the cabby hopped out, opened the door for Dawn and waited as she gather her things.  She was going to meet Ginger and Pepper later.  It’s the first time she was back at the apartment since Alexander-Hamilton was gunned down.

As she was walking from the cab she saw Ennio_Morricone sitting outside with a very a classy looking lady.  Dawn’s first thought was what a coincidence that she spoke to him at the café and now runs into him at her apartment building.  Well of course they had quite a bit of entertainment going on there and a lot of people frequent the place.

When Dawn approached Ennio there was something about his demeanor and the way the woman looked at her. She thought she might have seen the woman before. Something was telling her to back off, so she just said a quick hello.

Frank walked into the apartment building for the first time.  He wanted a place to call his own when in the the motor city.   Henry Ford was a very rich and powerful man as he was building and selling cars acrss the counrty.  Frank wanted to get his hooks into something like that.  He wanted legitimate sources of income.  He looked around the lobby and then the elevator he looked behind himself and saw the bell hop picking up his bags.  Frank smiled as the bell hop was as old as him and calling him sir.

The bell hop opened the door and Frank stepped in looking at the place.  He smied and nodded with approval as the bell hop carried the bags in.  Frank gave the man a five dollar tip as he handed Frank the key.  Frank walked around the apartment checking out each bedroom and the two bathrooms.  then he was back in his livingroom looking out the window.  He opening it and took a step onto the balcony looking down at the people walking by he nodded and whispered to himself, you made it Frank, now you just have to keep it.

Frank was back in the motor city and as he walked into his apartment he smiled and closed the door behind him.   He walked into the kitchen and put on the kettle to make a cup of coffee and then walking into his livingroom and removed his tie as he sat on the couch.   After a few minutes he heard the kettle whistle shaking his head no as he was growing comfortable resting his eye he now had to go pour himself a cup of coffee.

Frank sat back on the couch trying to think of a way to generate more income.  He was a part owner of a beer brewery, he and his brothers owned a casino and his parents own a restaurant.  He now wanted to generate more money but dealing with snow was risky and he had no connections to a steady supply.  Whatever this next racket is he needed to ease into it slowly.

Moving from one coast to the other with 6 howling cats had been an utter nightmare. Angela had had to actually buy a car rather than continue to lease one. But she'd learned a thing or two in her short life as a mobster so far, and that was assurance. If you behaved in an aggressive, or even just an overly assertive manner, you very well might get just what you wanted out of life.

Calling ahead was key to securing a residence in Bricktown. Angela had already wired money to the managing company of the Cadillac Apartments weeks ago, and had received a key in return in the mail. She only needed the very smallest apartment available, but she paid first and last month's rent, plus a security deposit and a cleaning deposit that wasn't even required.

A week later, Angela marched through the lobby with 3 cat carriers. A security man approached and was met with a withering glare.

"Schrute, apartment number 717, I do.hope your employer warned you I'd need some help? There are 3 more cats in the car waiting. Well, come on, now! They're only getting more upset by the minute!"

The security man looked down at the 3 cats, who looked up at him woefully from their temporary prisons. After a moment of deliberating over the no-pet policy, he relented. She did have a key, she was indeed on the priority list, he was allergic to cat hair, and his shift was over in exactly ten minutes.

This blonde boat was not worth rocking. With a sneeze and a nod, he went for the front doors, easily finding her car thanks to the remaining 3 caterwauling furbags. He'd be treating himself to an extra pint of lager tonight, you bet.

When Dawn arrived at her apartment she saw Hercules Mulligan, the General Manager in the lobby.  She asked him if he knew if Frank-Rosario was there and he told her no that he saw him leaving yesterday.  She thanked him and made her way up to her apartment.  She kicked off her shoes sat down in her business office to a stack of mail.  Before she started opening her mail she made a couple of phones calls to see if she could local Frank but he wasn't at the numbers she had for him.  She was so anxious to talk to Frank about what went on with the robbery at the cafe.  She just didn't understand how him ad Big Moe had taken the incident so lightly.

She wished she didn't have an important meeting in Chicago or she would stay and get to the bottom of this.  She was really concern.  It has to be an inside job and she wanted to know all who was involved.  She only had about an hour or so to shower, dress and get to the airport.  She thought of all kinds of ways to cancelled her appointment in Chicago but there was no way she would get out of it, she had to be there.

She poured herself a quick drink, took a few sips and headed to the bathroom to shower.

Frank walked into the cafe and Rita and up to him and whispered that Dawn_ just called from her Apartment.  Franked looked at Neri and said dam we just left there to get her.  Frank when to the pay phone and called Dawn but she didn't pick up.  He assumed that she left for her Chicago meeting.  Frank then took a sip from his flask as he rolled his eyes knowing he was going to get an ear full.   Moe was laughing as he was glad Frank was willing to take that bullet.
