Rest in peace Sean Connery.

He passed away last night October 31, 2020.

He will mostly be remembered as James bond, but he played many many great roles.   He was one of the Greats who played many different kinds  of  from the bad guy and the good  guy he did both very well.  He entertained us for 5 decades.  May he rest in peace.

I also just learned that apparently  on the night he died was the first time since 1942 that a full moon was present on the same day around the world in every time zone.

So sad.  I have been a fan of Sean Connery since I can't even remember.  Yes, it was his Bond movies that first gripped me.  He played so many different roles and always gave us his best.  One of my favorites is The Hunt for Red October.  I just watched it the other day for the umpteenth time.

Oooh he really was good in The Hunt for Red October. Was flipping channels once and caught a bit of it. Really interesting movie and he shined in that role. 

I've seen all his movies including him golfing. 2020 took a great one from us. My favorite story which is mafia related from his autobiography " Then there was when he was filming Another Time, Another Place and the actress's boyfriend was and enforcer showed up cause he was jealous she was in a movie with Connery and pointed a gun at him. Sean grabbed the gun and twisted the guys wrist. A funny one was he was in his dressing room and someone walked in and he was sitting naked and the person kept looking at his junk and he said "yesh its like a pigeon sitting on two eggs. RIP Sean Connery.

Such an absolute shame. He was and probably always will be my favourite James Bond. Not just that though - The Rock, Highlander, Dragonheart, The hunt for red October and The league of extraordinary gentlemen are all films that I loved. Goddamn 2020 just keeps getting worse and worse.

Great film, great man. Rest easy, sir. 

Yes, sad loss for all. Sean Connery was the first and best James Bond. Most of the original cast are gone if not all and I will miss the original MoneyPenny.

Totally loved watching this guy on the big screen. He gave surprise to the action hero, who before had lame one-liners, but he left a much more endearing fellow to cheer for. Did he ever do horror or comedy?

Never saw him as james bond but he was real good in Indiana Jones

Sad to see him go, but I will say he brought the world lots of good memories from his movies. He will be missed.

Rest In Peace. I have had lots of memories come back to me involving my grandma since I learned of his passing. He was her ultimate man crush and would turn red anytime he was mentioned or he was on tv. I remember watching Entrapment with her and every time he was on the screen she would swoon and get shy. It was adorable. It’s made me miss her terribly.

This was very sad news. A very classy man with great acting as well. RIP Sir. 

Loved him in Indy and the movie where he played a grumpy old author. 2020 seems to keep taking and taking.
