How about a war that lasted 5 days, god damn I was glad to be shot after the 3rd day of no sleep!

The best war I have been in was on org, and that was the december war of 02.   The war lasted and endured as less ppl could shoot of all the tools we have today and never had the bgs to hide behind.   The secrets of the game were not so open so kept things a lot more exciting and knowing someone would shoot you every 4 hours nearly made for a lot of nervous nights.  Plus when you lost your rank took a lot longer to get it back

I've only heard of these days, unfortunately. The secrecy has indeed its appeal… and the lack of it nowadays is a big loss in my opinion. You'd only have four types of answers back then: def, wack, prowack (alias watergun) or random. You can now tailor your genetics as much as you want! Too much stuff is known by too many people.

yep i remember once playing on defence on .org and struggled to kill till wise guy on inactives and then coz hit 1 was no guarantee would hit the next.

Taking down Deimne

The war that ended Deimne's reign was truly epic. Unfortunately for my father he was on the Losing side of that battle. The war that led to Roman's rise to power was exhilarating as well.

I'll always remember the luck I had in a war between myself when I was Cryptic and Sayyid's account at the time, Lucretia_Borgia. That really had my blood pumping and the adrenaline rushing. As the huge underdog and eventual winner of the war, it was the most exhilerating experience I've ever had on here!

Rank as in Goomba Earner Capo etc?  It was very easy to rank in .org because there were always jails and jailbreaking wasn't hard to train at all.

Ahh the civil war between R_K and RJ was rather epic... that is the longest war with no one dying that I can remember.

kriminal, just coz had jails, still had the time limits which are longer then todays and being stuck under a made man waiting for that promo typically.  I remember having to do 45 days for capo i believe back when eternal was boss.

Seyarah vs DiegoSanchez.....nobody killed and both parties went to the streets to declare war before a shot was fired. I was amused.

Well, I guess we can all add yesterdays 'war' to the books. It was rather well executed.

I think 'The Detroit Masacre' is a fitting name for it

SupBud I specifically remember that war.  There was 1 person killed on Seyarahs first wave lol i remember because i was the earner who killed it :D

I remember the war about 2-3 years back when Philly, Chicago, LV, LA, and New Orleans went up against NY and Detroit. I just remember being in a Chicago crew and logging on and seeing the whole city dead. It was one of my first accounts, and I was like, what??
The GFs involved (well at least the ones I can remember) were JimmyTheLionheart of PH, Marietta of DT, Adrian of CH, Brick_Politt of NO, Vicodin of LA, and ThomasRourke of NY. It was truly epic to me, because it was the first war I had been a part of.

I survived the war though, I joined a NY crew, which looking back on it was very disappointing, because I didn't die honorably with the rest of my city.

There is nothing wrong with surviving a war. Do not think that you must "die honorably".

That is a stupid opinion that people who confuse this with some sort of brotherhood of warriors purport.

Wars on the whole now days no longer occur as previously.


In the current environment they are simple takedowns if planned correctly and executed correctly. They will only ever become a war if someone fucks up or an unfortunate event occurs (missed shot, wackback etc).

The Denime takedown would have been a war had the person in question actually been able to get online, the most fun I have had in a war is a toss up between Caligula, Mont, Branston, Marietta and Tiggy (Cant remember her toon) and a CP war roughly Easter 3 years ago.
