I suspect this may be an unpopular opinion.

This thread was intended to state an unpopular opinion for others to attempt to change the mind of the person stating it. The opening post invites others to "refute or rebuke" those opinions. Simply agreeing with that opinion, even if adding evidence for your agreement, is not what the title of the thread requires, therefore all people agreeing with an opinion stated should be punished, possibly with the swift application of a fish about the face and mouth.

Nah I won't change your mind Father_OMalley, you are right I find them grossly overrated. I was never a fan of their music, always thought they were average and nothing extraordinary. In my opinion there are so many other rock band that should receive the attention U2 is but arn't.

Sauce is the most important part of the pizza. Majority of people I have asked say its the bread that's most important.

I know I'm late to the party but I gotta say it. I completely agree with the original U2 statement. When U2 was forced onto me VIA the iphone however many years back, I started to despise them. Normally I'm a live and let live kinda person with music choices, but goddamn U2 sucks.

It's not mine, but I was watching a video the other day when a guy was talking about terrorism tourism. Basically, the notion is to visit places that have recently been struck by disaster and/or significant crime and conflict to enjoy cheaper travel rates and an increased level of security. I'd imagine it doesn't work in places with longstanding conflict, but maybe he's got a point in some instances.

Scrambled eggs are just eggs whisked up with a bit of milk and (if done properly) seasoning. Now don't get me wrong, scrambled eggs are delightful, but..... Eggs Benedict are poached, a little skill and dare I say it, panache, are required to get them right. And they are served on a muffin which should have lashings of butter, crispy bacon, I'll say that bit again,    crispy     bacon    , and then topped with hollandaise sauce. Scrambled eggs are a Ford, no nonsense, reliable, get the job done. Eggs Benedict are a Rolls Royce, elegant, stylish, and classy.

I have to agree with you there Eggs Benedict done right are amazing what ruins it is over poached eggs, shit Hollandaise and over toasted muffins. 

Best sandwich ever has to be bacon and peanut butter though change my mind....

Chicken, Onion and Sweetcorn with BBQ sauce is excellent.

Have found that I love fruit on my pizza.  While I have always been a fan of pineapple on my canadian bacon pizza, recently discovered a pizza that has pickled pears.  OMG, it's sooo good.

Belle- I'd actually agree with you, Harry Potter is massively overrated.  My unpopular opinion would be that the Lord of the Rings is too!

Quincy, might be a step too far for you, but apple + cheese on toast is an amazing snack after a night of drinking, or a hangover cure. Sounds totally bizarre, but it's proper tasty. 

I think that WandaVision is bad television. 


The plot of each episode is too muddled. They throw too much plot and then let the threads go nowhere. It's not that the pacing is too slow, it's that the writers don't seem to care. I was really excited about WandaVision (despite my distaste with the current MCU). There was a real human story there. Wanda in her grief created a "perfect" world to live out her happily ever after with vision. That's an incredible premise! But...then they don't give us anything to latch onto. The sets and style of comedy are very reminiscent of sitcoms from their respective eras. But...it feels like a cardboard cut-out of them. 

Even the characters of Wanda and Vision, the most developed characters by far, have weak and unsatisfying character arcs. And the characters in Sword have almost no personality (Except for Randall Park, but that says more about Randall Park than the show's writing, in my opinion), I have no reason to care about any of them. In the 6 episodes I watched there were maybe...3 scenes that were engaging and felt like had any weight or emotional stakes.
