Boxing: Part Deux - The Mechanics | Started by: JackMezzo on Mar 27, '21 12:14 |
This thread presents the mechanics and rules behind the Boxing: Part Deux events. What it is: A card game which allows 2 players to face off against each other in a boxing match. Players can buy a starter deck, then add better cards to it with Training Points accumulated from matches with other players. Fights between players can be arranged through JackMezzo, who will offer a prize fund based on the level of the competitors. Level is determined by the "weighting" of your deck, as every card has a weight against it. Fights can also be sponsored by other users who wish to contribute to a prize fund, or just wish to see two high profile fighters duke it out. How it works:
Different card types reduce or increase Stamina. The player with the most Stamina at the end of the three rounds win, unless all Stamina has been depleted, in which case the player is knocked out. Players each start with 10 Stamina, it is increased:
Resources: This link takes you to the main Boxing Sheet. Boxing Part Deux - Public - Google Sheets Here you can see:
How to get involved: Send JackMezzo $500,000 to purchase a starter deck, include a message of which deck you would like and trunks colour. I will then send your unique Player Sheet which will track your:
RolePlay Opportunities: Each fight will be narrated by myself in a given Business District to reveal the outcome to the public. The final rounds or knockout can be narrated by the winner if they so desire, as to relish in their beatdown of their opponent. And if you die... There's no impact, I won't make you start over. Collection of cards may take too long to just throw it all away. We will change your boxer name to "Jr" and continue from there.

Admin access to all documents have been granted to Frances who has volunteered to keep this running for those invested in it. She had access to all individual private fighter sheets to made modifications and can control the main sheet. Thanks for everyone's support on this and good luck. |
