Karma sighed, what should have been a victory had now turned into a hopeless case.

Yeah yeah, Karma nodded whilst taking another sip from her wine... She was on her second bottle and it was safe to conclude that wine did not improve her, already petty, chess skills.

Crawford bored with the original chess game had introduced Karma to a new sort of chess.
Random Chess or also later referred to as Fischer Random Chess.

The game had proven to be a new challenge, standard sequences and such could no longer be memorized and each game turned out to be a completely new adventure.
It didn't take long before IRC avenue heard about the new chess game and more frequently all over the country mobsters played a friendly game of chess between work.

You know Crawford, we need a tournament all over the USA! With our frequent flying these days it would be a good oppurtunity to get to know one another a bit better...
Just some friendly competition you know!

Right! A chess tournament... all over the 8 cities... this was going to prove a challenge.
The good thing about chess was that it didn't have to happen all at the same time, people could just meet up at their convenience and play a game.
Karma gave it all a lot of thought and started writing up a poster.

CHESS TOURNAMENT 25th July - 5th August

Sign up procedure: Send Karma-Couture a mobmail that you're interested in participating before the 24th of July at 22:00 MR time. Subject mobmail: CHESS TOURNAMENT.
Sign up fee: NONE, though wagers between players are encouraged.

Round 1: 25th of July till 27th of July
After all sign ups have been processed people will get a partner assigned that they will play between the 25th and 28th of July.

Round 2: 28th of July till 30th of July
Winners of round 1 will get assigned by a schedule to eachother once again.

Round 3: 31st of July till 2nd of August
Winners of round 2 will get assigned by a schedule to eachother once again.

Round 4: 3rd of August till 5th of August
FINAL ROUNDS!

The exact form of the rounds will be more clear once participation numbers are known, the schedule will be announced directly after sign up closes.

Extra: Please please please, don't sign up if you can't make these dates. Every round has a 3 day window for you and your opponent to sit down and play the match, which is hopefully enough time.
Extra extra: As evidence a screenshot of each match is required. Use your IGN to play the match.

Additional information:

The game we will play is random chess, chess hotel also offers regular chess. Make sure you're playing the random version!
Aside from that, the game offers the option to play with a clock. For our tournament we will NOT play with a time limit.
Make sure before inviting your opponent that you've turned this clock off in the options menu because on default it's on a 10 minute timer.

Well let me tell you something dude! As i was walking around the streets i heard the hulksters name being called our from the rooftops! They had asked me to join the boxing matches but i couldnt at the time because i was so very busy! After i let my little hulk-a-maniacs down i knew i could never do so again! It was time to let Hulk-A-mania run wild for my fans! When little Tommy asked me to play a game a chess for him and win i knew i could not let him down so i come down here to meet you Karma Couture and all i have to say to you is Sign me up for some chess action sister!

Karma-Couture sits in her office when one the bodyguards enter the room and hands her a pile of letters.

Pleasantly surprised she starts opening them, quickly tossing out some "tax due notices" she moves on to the fun stuff.
She notices by the stamps that they've been sent from all over the country!

Chess tournament signs up! Yay! She starts counting them and comes at a total of 16.
Excellent excellent, still 1,5 day left to go and allready 16 people signing up for the contest.
Not a bad result so far at all.

Quickly she writes up another poster she will nail below the other one....
