I am a representative of a secret organisation.  Well, we were public, but for the moment are staying undercover.  We are well known to this thing of ours and our leader, in particular, is very well known.
 
For the purposes of this speech, we will be known as "the plumbers".
 
The Plumbers placed the hit on Roman.  We did so for a few reasons - it was getting a bit dull around here, we had a lot of cash and we also have experience of placing high value hits on prominent members, so we decided to give it a go.  Do we hate Roman?  No, not at all.  He's a good man.  However, someone thinking about making a move against Roman might just be a little bit keener to do so if there was a $100M bonus...  And Roman would win, of course.  No-one could take Roman on and survive, but there is one nutty guy out there who will get round to giving it a go sooner or later.  Maybe he was in cahoots with us, maybe he wasn't.  Maybe he just let it be known that he won't spill the beans.  Hey, what's said in the coffee shops stays there, right?
 
So, yeah, we placed the hit.  It was the brainchild of our leader, who is currently deep undercover in one of these cities, working damn hard and making contacts, incognito.  The same grouping have also been responsible for some old time practices; the odd random wacking, hiring freelance hitters to shoot WiseGuys, that sort of thing.  We've also bribed high ranking guys to shoot other high ranking guys in other families, knowing what will happen next.  Noticed a few middle rankers in the obits recently and no-one caught?  Well, that's us.  We have our reasons. 
 
We have a clear strategy and things are going well.  Those who follow the markets will have noticed some shocking flurries of activity recently.  We hate to brag, but Jesus H Christ, we make a *lot* of cash there.  So $100M isn't really that great a shake.  Many months ago our fathers and grandfathers shelled out dozens of millions on a similar enterprise.
 
To repeat, Roman is not our target; he's a good guy.  Others are.  Those in the know will know.  Those who don't, won't.

And please be assured, this isn't the rising of the Conceptulists or a nutty gang of serial killers, we are businessmen and women dedicated to this way of life and making it grow.  Those who respect this thing of ours have nothing to worry about.

Wow, so i guess like every other "organisation" your fully in love with the romance of these so called underground groups and i use that term very loosely as if history recalls nothing substantial has ever peeped its ugley rouge face out of a group like this. OK so you call your self business men and women, that itself is  very delusional practice, if you claim to be of substance within the community you will know first hand that no matter what spin you put onto your reasoning the politics of this world will always over rule and you Will be labeled as a rouge.

Whether i agree with you your apparent reason for your hit-listing or not is irrelevant, However i don't recall any past members of this world randomly found dead in any of the cities without another person being found guilty of murder so i would have to say your only "evidence" of your groups activity is pretty lack luster. In fact i cant think of any of your proposed acts coming to fruition!

I suspect the point of this speech is to cause some sort of hysteria or even a word or two from the hierarchy of this world but in all fact this is no revolution or is this a new concept in this thing of ours, OK granted that people like you and your "group" or like flying ants and are extremely annoying but they are not a problem that can not be squashed. I would like to think, in fact i know common sense will prevail and you will have your five minutes of fame but i fully suspect that you or your "organisation" will follow up on any of your threats, another term i use very lightly.

Well Rupert its how this youngsters are nowadays, thought that they can go here at the streets and talk nonsense. Well if my memory serves me right this sounds more like Stephen and Gaspipe company back in the days of St.L where they post hits and claiming they will change our world.

As the others have said you could have bought yourself tons of bg's with those money than post hits to renowned and well accomplished leaders of ours. But you have said it yourself you know what you are doing (or not).

To anyone with knowledge of our world and an iota of sense about strategy, planning and war, our actions make perfect sense.  Yes, we support Roman, yes, we placed the hit, yes, we wanted someone to take a shot at him. Why?  Well, ask yourself; who wants to be in Roman’s position?  What is this character’s personality like?  How does he behave?  Does he need the money?  Well, not really – but it’s a nice sum to have.

We aren’t the CIA and we aren’t mad dog killers – we don’t finance revolutions.  We also know our place and our strength; we can’t take on families.  Why?  Because we aren’t a family.  Think of us more as a pressure group.  With a flair for performance art.  Who also like to do the odd random hit J

Roman DID NOT place the hit on himself.  The only people with the financial and creative resources to put this thing together are the group of people that I represent.  We are astute political operators and cunning and canny business-people. 

Roman is something of a figurehead.  In our opinion, one of the top three God-people this thing has had, just behind SciptiaRourke (RIP) and Deimne (RIP).  We aim to support and encourage him.
