What is one your favorite dishes to cook? | Started by: Atticus-Spinelli on Feb 08, '22 04:08 |
Really it kind of depends on the time of the year for me. Like right now it’s winter and it’s cold, almost feel like you need hearty and hefty meals. Like today, it snowed here and is cold. So I threw together a nice beef stew. Now it just needs to finish cooking…

I like to make spaghetti sauce from scratch. It is a lot of work but the results are amazing. Use it on pasta, hot dogs, sausages, etc. the only problem is the amount of mess it makes, lol. I try to pawn that job off on my wife. |

My Favorite Dish is spaghetti. Last time i made it, I used 2lb box of pasta. We ate off it for 3 days! lol Garlic bread is a MUST so you can sop up the extra sauce. LOTS of parmesan cheese both in the sauce and on top Make it ooey gooey nummy! Dont forget the HOT Tea to wash it down. Extra sweet. Oh and my son made a chocolate cake with Cream Cheese frosting and sprinkles! Was a great meal! now to decide what to make this week! |

BrunoAccardo and I agree on many favorites that we cook, but our most recent dish was one we cooked together yesterday. Vegetarian chicken fried steaks! We use the Impossible burger patties, flatten them out and use the egg and flour batter mix. So damn good! Our youngest daughter had never had chicken fried steaks before becoming vegetarian, and she Loves these. |

I suppose it would depend on if it is a party where everyone brings something, a holiday or just an ordinary day. I usually am requested to bring dessert to get togethers and I have several go to favorites, but one I am requested to bring is a Dirt Cake. It is awesome and feeds quite a few people. Everyone of all ages enjoys it. A holiday, always start with appetizers, so pickle roll ups, buffalo chicken dip, a chili cheese dip to name a few always are big hits. An ordinary day, I would do tacos, potato soup, a nice grilled chicken salad with all the trimmings. Just a few things. |

Mmmmm. Food is amazing. I’ve been learning to cook all sorts of things. One of my favorite things to make is Ravioli from scratch and calzones too!! I probably won’t type out the recipes right now just because I’m on my phone. But they’re so yummy! Just time consuming! :)

I would have to say hands down beef tacos cause they are off the chain. If you never tried a taco it would be in your best interest to go out get all the ingredients and give them a try. |

I like to cook sausage egg burritos. Well. The mix that you put in tortillas to form a burrito. They're so good! All it takes is browned sausage (drained), and then you mix in eggs and let that cook up. When it's almost done, you sprinkle in some shredded cheese and bam. Done. |

Chicken, broccoli and bok choi in a hot oyster sauce - amazing and really quick to cook. Fry off chicken, add garlic & ginger, add chicken stock, oyster sauce, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce and a little sherry. Bring to boil, add broccoli, cook to taste. Throw in bok choi to soften. Add cornflour to thicken. Serve with rice. Quick, easy and delicious. |
