My favorite is Ozil from German's soccer team. It was cool to watch him playing along with his team. Not a greedy player as we use to watch the others being so they normally lose the goal by acting as that.

Although i wasn't born yet, during the period 1960-1975 while the soccer in Greece wasn't professional, there were some fantastic players.

My favourite player, i saw him playing, is Thomas Mavros. A left foot striker, who was the nightmare for opponent goalkeepers.

My favourite football (soccer) players don't play for a big team and aren't multi-millionaires from their earnings from playing. Indeed, they play daily just for the fun of it.  I will leave it at that, rather than actually identifying them

I don't watch soccer but if I had to choose it would be Messi for sure. I've watched highlights of him a few times and the guy is near superhero.
