Last night, Jelly-Viterelli stood idly by and watched as his two most trusted lieutenants were murdered in their sleep. What kind of leader would allow such a thing? And why? That’s what we set out to understand on...THE BURGERHOUSE FILES.

THE PLAYERS:

Jelly ‘The Belly’ Viterelli: Crewleader. Bit-part player, keeps a HQ open for Joseph-Ligambi.

MissDaisy: Ruthless ladder-climber. Will say anything to win favor. 

Tommy_Vitale: Beloved newspaper icon, Left Hand Man of Jelly.

Danny-Greene: Long-tenured Right Hand Man of Jelly. 

THE FACTS:

@MissDaisy wakes up Tuesday unsatisfied with her lot in life. She is an ambitious woman, with goals and dreams. But it's a cruel business. She knows she's in the mix for a crewleader role, but not a front-runner by any means. Not like Tommy_Vitale. Tommy is the golden boy. The All-American. The media mogul turned left-hand man. She resents him for it, she can't stand the sight of him. And on this frosty winter morning, she just can't take it any more. 

MissDaisy knows that if she's going to move up in the world, she's somehow got to remove Tommy from her path, any way she can. And the scheme she concocts is nothing short of sinister.

MissDaisy gets on the phone and asks to speak to Joseph-Ligambi, the reclusive head of the Ligambi family, about Tommy's hidden ambitions to overthrow the regime. The premise couldn't be more absurd. The long-time publisher of the beloved MR Gazette was a known do-gooder and philanthropist, often publishing his industry-leading newspaper at his own expense. But the Ligambis have grown so paranoid, they’ll act on anything, and MissDaisy knows this all too well.

To give the fairytale credibility, she adds Right Hand Man Danny_Greene to the mix. She tells them he's involved, tha he's the muscle of the operation. Another slab of meat thrown to the wolves. After all, Jelly-Viterelli is just a company man. A fellow toadie. He won't object; it's not in his nature, even facing the execution of his two top men. He’s just happy to be there.

Where does that leave us?

The dead of night. Shadowy killers looming over two corpses. MissDaisy's treacherous scheme has run its course. Viterelli is down two made guys. MissDaisy's climb a little less crowded. No questions asked. Until now. 

Will MissDaisy's betrayal pay off? Will the rat get its cheese? And what next for the Vitale family?

Just out of curiosity and for some background, was this the same MissDaisy that was with LouisFratto and then suddenly wasn't?

I love the facts. A segment of my show, THE BURGERHOUSE FILES, is dedicated to rigorously presenting them. But I'm just the host, MissDaisy. I read the cue cards. You will need to direct your wild and terrifying anger at our research department, where corrections can ultimately be made and addressed. When the credits roll on the show, I punch out. 

That's very interesting, Moryana. Could you speak on that? What happened between MissDaisy and LouisFratto? 

While I have had my question answered and confirmed me. I do not know what happened between those two individuals, that is between them. All I can say is if they were related to Fratto's former Right Hand Woman then I would be a little leery how much trust I put in them. However, I am a young whatever rank I am currently in this world so my word is a grain of salt along the wind.

The core issue seems to be trust in this matter though, and honestly, always be careful who you trust. Some are friends with you for as long as they can use you.

Can the public see the mails? Maybe we should make transparency a thing since those lines are used often. Show the work, like it is your homework.

Following the most recent edition of THE BURGERHOUSE FILES, many citizens came forward to express their dismay at the alleged falsehoods expressed therein. The episode, which detailed the step-by-step process by which MissDaisy orchestrated a terrible plot to set up golden boy Tommy_Vitale and have him killed in order to further her own career ambitions, was one of our most-viewed and highest-rated yet. In fact, many, many more than whom reacted negatively to the broadcast came to me personally in private and urged my team & I to continue the fine work.

Having worked tirelessly to verify the details put forward in the episode, obtained across a gamut of primary, secondary and tertiary sources, it is with no small degree of pleasure and satisfaction that I can announce there will be no corrections or apologies to communicate today. We stand strongly by every last detail of the broadcast and have in fact, over our considerable fact-checking process, discovered one new detail not yet revealed to our audience: 

A wire transfer of 4,000,000 from Street_Leader, of the Kuku lineage, into the account of MissDaisy herself. 

Was Kuku behind MissDaisy’s betrayal? Is he secretly pulling the strings? Did Kuku manage to manipulate Jelly-Viterelli into killing both of his hands? Would it be extremely embarrassing for Viterelli if that were true?

This represents a challenge for me, on a number of fronts.  I can't very well lead the streets unless I am trusted.  To put it another way, my name is my name, and my bond is my name, and my reputation, my hard won over generational zeitgeist legacy is the cornerstone of my earnest ambitions at saving the streets.

So, whilst it would be easy to deny sending MissDaisy $4m, would that be the correct course of action?  My heart and my head, and I'm quite sure Percival, are all sending me subliminal messages.  But what we need is the truth.

Unfortunately, the truth may come with a price, and it's not me signing off on the invoice.

So therefore I have no choice but to confirm that I did indeed send MissDaisy $4m. 

HOWEVER as of right now, I am going to have to invoke LOTS privileges and deny and deflect all future questions.

Buck, obviously someone like me can't keep records but this message is irrefutable proof that that payment was made.

They say you have to follow the money, and everywhere I look the money leads right back to MissDaisy and Kuku. Peas in a pod. Why did you agree to fabricate a story to get Tommy killed? Was it just for the money? Was 4 million dollars all it took to send a good man to his grave? 

I don't think you can handle the truth, MissDaisy. 

As the sun was setting outside of the local casino StripheGotti finally placed the cards down and decided to call it as night. As he stood up from the table he motioned to one of his men to get the car ready as he reached into his pocket and grabbed a cigar and lighter. The cigar has a sweet smell that you could smell from feet away and the suit he was wearing was finely pressed with the best materials money could buy. As he lit the cigar in the middle of the casino floor, not giving two fucks about the rules he walked towards the door throwing a few casino chips at the poors on his way out as they cheered and hollared

Once outside he noticed a commotion in the streets and could hear crying and questioning from the shadows and reporters. StripheGotti knew some people had died but he already knew what they had done and the cardinal rules they had broken. Before stepping into his limo he nodded his head to MissDaisy and smiled

I wouldn't give these fucks the time of day Daisy and neither should you. 

The old Don took a deep puff of the cigar blowing it towards the sky as he closed the limo door and as it slowly drove away
