I did plenty for this community in 4 months. If you have any doubt to this please feel free to speak with the gods and ask them about the work I put in. I have had to sit and watch it be undone and you want some sort of positive input from me. I admire the giant set of balls you and your kin have grown, when you are the only ones left remember who made it so. The current leaders have done more harm in 2 weeks than CP did in 5 months. I would go back to the original claims made by Project Mayhem and try to show that they weren't just total lies. CP were accused of reducing the number of people in organized crime by 30% over several months, Project Mayhem has lost 70 in what, two, maybe three weeks? Whatever spin you attempt to put on that, whatever excuse you try to conjure, that is the case. They claimed people hated the way only CP crews operated our streets. Whilst this is a lie as many non-CP affiliates had crews, surely by killing off anyone not affiliated to the coffeeshop friends who conspired to take power, they are doing that which they accused the previous regime of? They claimed that people hated that nobody outside the CP coffeeshop had an opportunity. Again, whilst this is a lie as already stated above (and this omitting yourself Kira), lets look at our current situation. The United Nations operate a syndicate and I've never seen something so wholly based on speakeasy relationships. They even have conflicting titles tattooed across their bodies, just so we know the real ranking system of the organization. Everyone has their gun taken upon earning it, other than those who are coffeeshop friends. They claimed that people hated bloodline hunting. As your own interview with CommodumPerfectus revealed, he and only he bloodline hunted one person, whom he already explained the reasons for. But ignoring that, our current regime kill the same people repeatedly for 100% OOC reasons, even those who are not threats in any shape or form. I could understand when it was due to the enhancement some received, but it is becoming clear this is not going to stop. They claimed that people wanted a freedom of speech and that had been denied to them. What evidence have we seen of that being afforded to the community? Death to anyone who utters a word in the funeral of rogues? You can ask for time, you can ask for people to ignore the glaring facts but without changing, things are not going to improve. Do I have a magical formula to fix this world? No, I don't. I expect the leaders to either come out and admit they were liars, which the facts are proving anyway or to live up to the claims that they and their followers spouted. Yes Woods...that many months and you still haven't learned that what "you" did, what your "father" did, and what your "great-grandfather times 5" did are all different. And it's YOUR fact...which makes it an opinion. What would be closer to fact is that the same problem has plagued this community for months...more than a year even, and instead of the leaders-that-be addressing this problem, they have made it increasingly worse. "You" were part of the problem. And as I said, I would like to see what this group does to try to correct it. If they don't, they will be in the ever-growing lines of leadership who have failed the community. If they try, good for them. If they succeed, then that would be great. And if you don't have anything positive, then why not retire and go back to the old country until the current regime dies out, then return? Various people have done it whenever they didn't like the current regime. And fyi, didn't CP try to produce a paper of sorts for months? What happened after that, I wonder? I mean, since you are trying to compare the two, just wanted to throw that in there. |

Fact? So it's not a fact that the user base is lower than it has ever been? It's not a fact that 9 leaders have died in 2 weeks? We never attempted to start a paper, the editor of the paper had largely disregarded her job and gone into a hiatus. We offered cash incentives for users to participate in writing stories. You have written 2 stories for the paper, when months passed by and you did what exactly for the users? I forget, nothing? Thought so. Feel free to preach. Yes you have helped develop a paper, you also have 100 less users to read it. Congrats. |

I was around...I never saw anything from non CP leaders, with the exception of Mr_47, that would make them stand out against those leaders who were members of CP. Maybe it was because with policies like the MM reference system, any individuality was overshadowed. Sorry if I overlooked it. I'm not going to say "nobody" had an opportunity, but I remember people talking about how people seemed to get authed and killed for crap reasons. Maybe that diminished in later months, but at least the former regime had months to do this in. People (or maybe it was people like you? People do hate bloodline hunting. You would have to be more specific as to whom you claim is being bloodline hunted for me to comment any further. And I do believe the byline says something differently, so even though she may be related to me, she is not me. But I see how you would be confused and such. Again, I want to see what this regime will do to fix our current issue. And it's not a CP vs Project Mayhem issue, and wish to god people can stop making it such. Woods, I think that part about 9 leaders being dead in two weeks have already been addressed. Try listening to what others say next time before coming up with a response of your own. Cash incentives for people to write stories? Hmm... I do remember contests and such, but I also remember a big effort was made to get people to write for the paper, which didn't work out too well now did it? "You have written 2 stories for the paper, when months passed by and you did what exactly for the users?" I'm not doing to say it again about who wrote what for the paper. What have I done for the users for months? For months I was earning my ranks the way anyone else should - by helping out the Family with their crews, bars, and businesses. No, I wasn't active in the streets, but when Captains don't have to say a damned thing to get authed in a city by their bosses, and to continue not to do so, why would I felt the need to be overly active in the streets? "I forget, nothing? Thought so." How would you even know such, when you are supposed to be "new" to this thing? |

If what TheWoods claims is true, then I must agree that is shocking and because of such an action your loyalties with any other family would be sincerely questioned. Anywho, change the fucking record people, why is it we have to go round and round in these circles all of the time? Yes 1 pack of leaders from a particular group have died, yes another new group have set up, yes they will eventually die, yes some other group will set up and will then be the victim of similar abuse. Why do we get into these long drawn out debates, are our lives really that boring? |

People were afraid for their lives because they offered a eulogy to a rogue. Is that freedom of speech? I had nothing against this regime when it started; I saw numbers rise and activity soar. If they bring this back then I'll be happy. What I don't like is that 304 people were walking the streets when the old regime fell and that number has steadily fallen ever since. Do you like that? I know I don't. I'm not going to give a list of names of those who are bloodline hunted on the off chance they've managed to get themselves an invite and an opportunity this time around. We all know that this has been going on. Are you really denying that? I wanted to see what this regime would do. As hard as it seems to be for you to accept, that has been to significantly reduce the already fledgling number of Mafioso on our streets. The CP regime was never given a chance either. From the day a1capon3 shot JohnnyAxe, posters began to sprout up about CP. They were hated by the owners of the most public speakeasy. To go OOC here, they were subjected on a regular basis to real life insults and abuse, most of which would probably make you ashamed of those you work for. This regime didn't try to distance themselves from the CP, they made them their focal point. They chose to bathe in their hollow success and repeatedly try to gloat in any speakeasy and often the streets when they can. If they want the comparisons to CP to stop and I would in their shoes, then their best bet would be to shutup about them. Try to move on, accept how lucky they got and try to progress as leaders because as I've said, this isn't working. The numbers support me on that. Now going back to my previous response to this and you don't want this to be CP vs Project Mayhem, so that is fine. Let's make it Project Mayhem vs Project Mayhem. What they said they would do, against what they've actually done. That was what I was trying to demonstrate, rather than the actual limited truth in what they claimed CP had done. So, by killing off anyone not affiliated to their coffeeshop friends who conspired to take power, are they not making it so only Project Mayhem crews operate our streets? By removing guns from members, trusting nobody outside their speakeasy group and rewarding only generational friends, are they giving people an opportunity to be rewarded on merit? By bloodline hunting (you can ignore this if you can't accept it without a list of names) are the current regime abolishing bloodline hunting? |

And if my loyalties were questioned, I would probably be dead now, correct? And I am not sure why the vicious cycle continues to take place. That is all I have been saying the whole time, that and talking to people about different points that they have made. I'm only missing CP because our community is at it's lowest ebb. When my bloodline arrived here many moons ago, criminal activity depended on word of mouth alone, and there was still a more vibrant community than we have now. I understand that the safeguarding of one's family comes first; but there really is no excuse for causing this sort of exodus, and no denying it either. |

I am sure that it's been lower and there are measures being taken place to remind those that have left these shores in the past that this land exists. Now, instead of sitting here shitting on everyone's parade telling them how much they suck.. How shit the world has become... HELP us change it.. Be encouraging and positive. Within the next few days over 9000 envelopes will be sent out to those that have had family here before.. How does it look when we have a group of people saying the things you have been? Does this appear as encouraging? Would you stay? Does your calling people down and insulting sound anything like children crying after a marble game was lost? Think about the community and if you put as much effort into preparing for "new" arrivals and being ready to help and promote what we have we might stand a chance at gaining a few more bloodlines to walk these streets. Oh, I know, you're gonna start on me with your loving words, but honestly? I don't give a fuck. Your words mean nothing to me as they are just the same old recycled shit every time. All in all, instead of trying to ruin the place and bring it down by your comments, grow up. Move on. Your side lost, we didn't. Work with us, or against us, either way it's this world that's going to either flourish or be drowned in the crap you pile spew. With that... I am sure the community was once worse than this Iris, in terms of numbers, but I can honestly say that it hasn't been so in my bloodline's time. I'm not here to try and tarnish the reputation of anyone, I'm here because I'm genuinely annoyed at the falling interest in our way of life. At a glance, and please look at this objectively, it is easy to see why the dwindling interest has been attributed to the new leadership; after the initial boom following the conflicts the number of mobsters on our streets have steadily decreased under the new leadership. I grant that this may be totally unrelated, but it's easy to see why I, and indeed anyone else, would assume the contrary. And Iris, we have known each other for a very long time, at least for me. If, during that time, you've felt my continued preaching regarding our community's wellbeing is nothing more than a facade to allow me to direct tirade after tirade of abuse, then I must correct you. For a good couple of weeks now, my bloodline has not been overly involved with the state of play, a brief hiatus if you will; yet during that time we have still managed to get across to different venues and publicise our way of life (i.e Top web games - sorry for OOC) And, going back to periods where my bloodline was actively involved, I hate to blow my own trumpet, but I dare say only a handful of bloodlines were more committed than my own. When Molotov_McHugh was a leader and there was a vast influx of new blood, my ancestor was one of the ones who stayed up from sunrise to sunset to help. When City Hall requested a brief synopsis on our way of life, it was my ancestor who stepped up to the plate, not much I know but certainly more than some. In fact, going not so long back to when the Tribune was failing, it was my Great etc. Grandpappy Orwell who, along with your predecessors and others, made a concious effort to rekindle interest in a regular publication with "The Informer". Going back further still to the reign of Anita, and other substandard Tribune production, it was our bloodlines, again with others, who did the same with "The Bloody Tissue" (An inspired title, I am forever grateful bighead!) These are just a few examples that spring immediately to mind of the ways, whether direct or indirect, that I've tried to encourage growth and activity. I realise I am sounding very much like the wounded martyr here, but to have one of my closest compadres claim my love of our thing is nothing but a veil for my embittered whining is frankly insulting. For me, it's not about the names or the people. It's about the fact I return after a very brief absence to find activity has fallen away under a new leadership. If a new leadership was comprised of, say, terminally ill blood family; I would still call them up on it. For me, it isn't about CP or Project Mayhem or anything else. It's about the fact Tallien, as an example, sat in City Hall addressing mail after mail to new blood, resulting in less time spent criming and so on. Not the biggest sacrifice, but a sacrifice nonetheless. The end product was people claiming CP cared nothing for the community, something I felt when all was said and done, was a little unfair. Was it because they were my friends? A little, but then one of there staunchest critics, Billy the Red Sox fan there, was also a great friend of mine. No, had my worst enemy (Jer? :P) been in the situation of CP, I would have erred on the side of logic and used my common sense. I realise I'm rambling here and probably making little sense as I've had one too many kia ora's, so I'll close by saying, just to cement the fact I am not invoking the Jihad here, when I made my first comments, I was blissfully unaware of the measures already in place, and for that you have my apologies. As you should probably know, if you need any help either from myself or Jethro, no matter how menial or boring it is, you know where to find me. Sprozz out. |
