You can accept them quietly and go about your business taking care to keep up with the rule changes so you don't trip over them. Of course another alternative is to work hard, foster social connections, and prove yourself to others so that you one day become a rule maker but that is a more difficult course that generally requires some level of skill and intelligence and not one that I would expect a piss ant bodyguard shooter to ever be able to handle.
