| When Protocols Are Ignored, What Next? | Started by: stpnnllII on Mar 27, '12 13:09 |

Leo, I'm not sure you understand what a protocol is. I will explain.
A protocol is the accepted and expected chain of events, often answering to a chain of command, put in place to ensure order, efficiancy and stability. Breaching protocol at Ford might cost you your job, in the military, or a criminal subculture, it would (normally) cost you your job.
Under no circumstances whatsoever, unless things have changed drastically since the bible was written and my dad was inducted in his crew, is a sponsored member allowed to shoot at a sponsored member from another family *without permission from one/both crewleaders*
To do so merits the death penalty. Come to think of it, shooting an *unsponsored* member carries the death penalty if he's young enough.
Two protocols were exposed yesterday - one was followed, one was blatantly ignored.
My dad is alleged to have shot at Leo's BG - for this, had it been proven, he would be killed. This was followed (Incidently, he also would have got killed for leaving the crew).
The second protocol concerns Leo. He shot at a sponsored member without seeking or gaining permission. In doing so he placed his family and his city in danger of war. And also placed the 7 cities at risk from a potential rogue.
That Leo is alive and well speaks volumes about the breakdown of protocols. If Det/LV are to restore any dignity from this, action (not necessarily death) needs to be taken and made public.
PS - My bloodline amounts to my dad, that's it. I have a close friend and mentor who will remain nameless. |

" *without permission from one/both crewleaders* " I think we can safely say that my leader is ok with what happened, otherwise I would be dead like your father. Whether I asked permission is none of your concern as its "family" business and (thank god) you are not part of our family. |

Consulting journals, it seems that the head of a family shot and killed an unsponsored juevenile - and was roundly condemned by all and sundry in the seven cities.
We have seen what happens when rules start to get ignored - cities start to come apart, our way of life is diminished.
LV/Det are conspicuous by their absence from this discussion. I imagine they are desperately trying to find a way out of this quagmire.
Leo is a Well Protected Goomba, which suggest he is friendly with the purse string holders in Detroit. I suspect this is the only reason he is still alive and gloating about how the rules don't apply to him. |

" Consulting journals, it seems that the head of a family shot and killed an unsponsored juevenile - and was roundly condemned by all and sundry in the seven cities" Had that juvenile been shooting at other Mafioso? If so he deserved what he got. " LV/Det are conspicuous by their absence from this discussion. I imagine they are desperately trying to find a way out of this quagmire." More likely they have better things to be doing than arguing with a crying orphan in the streets. " Leo is a Well Protected Goomba, which suggest he is friendly with the purse string holders in Detroit. I suspect this is the only reason he is still alive and gloating about how the rules don't apply to him." I'm friendly with all mafioso from the great city of Detroit, but the only purse string that has gotten me well protected is my own. I am not gloating about anything and I can assure you rules apply to me also. |

Can you explain why your own family didn't kill you for such an outrageous breach of well established rules, then, if "rules apply" to you also?
You see the disconnect, surely? You fired your fun at a *sponsored* members of another city's crew, missed, meaning he was protected for four hours. It also meant that any of my father's crew-mates could have witnessed the shooting and attacked you and/or your family.
Wars have started for less.
Either the rules are there to be followed or they aren't.
You have admitted here in these Streets that you broke the rules, you have said that the rules apply to you, yet it's obvious by your still being alive that Detroit are not adhering to the rules. |

I agree, but let us not forget the fact that your father attacked me first. He could have easily sparked a war on his own, thank god I realised he was working alone and not under his leaders command. " it's obvious by your still being alive that Detroit are not adhering to the rules." You set these rules? I broke the rules and got punished accordingly, how so is none of your business. Why should I be killed for defending myself? |

Fozzie, you are speculating and assuming. And we all know what that means.
No-one is saying Leo didn't break the accepted rules.
No-one is saying my dad didn't get what he deserved.
Everyone is saying that, usually, people die for what Leo did.
Leo has said what he did was wrong.
His being alive confirms that protocols were broken.
Discuss these facts and don't waste your time, or mine, getting my bloodline wrong and disputing my methods.
My dad died for what he believed in and was fine with it. As his son, I'm casting light on a dark deed. |

WhereWasI falls over laughing,
"Fozzie, you are speculating and assuming. And we all know what that means."
Wait a second. Your arguement is that Leo wasn't punished is purely based on speculation and assumptions. You weren't involved in LV-DT discussions at all. So what exactly does making speculations and assumptions mean to you? Don't forget he actually has facts based in your bloodline's history to back what you call assumptions whereas you really have nothing to prove your point. This would be a bid deal if it wasn't you, but it was you so most of the community doesn't really care you died again. You just feel we should so you came out here to whine and cry... again. |

Looks above...
Stop speculating on my bloodline. It makes you look silly.
Leo is *alive*. The accepted and expected penalty for breaking the rules that he did is *death*.
Therefore it is safe to assume that protocols haven't been followed.
So, what next? What can people get away with? |

You don't write the rules child, each and every situation is different based upon the details. You don't need to know if he was punished because you yourself are no longer associated with either family involved. Move along cretin. You have no arguement, yet again, you're just shit stirring. |

The fact is though Romeo, Stpnll was the man we thought he was, this man claims to be that mans son, ergo he is the bloodline we assume him to be. However, he claims he isn't that bloodline and that our assumption is wrong; if thats the case, then he is lieing about being the Son of Stpnll, or lieing about being that bloodline. |

Just to clarify StpnnllII, the reason I didn't keep replying to you was because I had answered every single point you had made and have made since with one sentence; |

DeadlySin, you're being disengenous. There are very accepted protocols, indeed set city rules.
Look at the Bible:
* Do not WACK!: Last, but not least, in fact I'd say 'most importantly': do not shoot at people! This is the fastest way to end up with a bullet between your eyes. I know it looks tempting and it sure as hell probably looks fun, but there are many, many rules for handling your firearm responsibly. Get into a family and contact that family's Hit Squad Leader for more information before you ever decide to use it. You could end up taking someone's life, or worse- losing yours! |

Your father shot a BG of a Goomba from Detroit, at that point he was already dead. So anything that occurred after that really doesn't matter, whether it be the Goomba who killed him, his leader who killed him or any random gun knocking about in the city after he ran away from his punishment. |

Oh please, I am not being disingenuous in any way shape or form. Yes, the bible says that - it is however a guide, not a set of rules as you seem to be implying. Not just that, but if you're going to take the bible as a set of protocols then let me point out the most interesting point and one you really should have taken a look at properly before embarking on this ridiculous endeavour... |
