I would just like to take an opportunity to remind everyone that no... The Experiment does not end with Marston's death. Although Marston was the one to bring this public it was agreed apon by all City Heads at the time of print.

The rules for the Chicago Experiment still stand as they have for the past couple of months. Any changes will be brought to you by the City Heads should they arise.

Anyway, this is just a random babble of thoughts pertaining to the topic at hand... Maybe a few tips for those would-be Chicago leaders out there.

It is my hope that this Experiment will continue as Marston and the others involved in its conception that are no longer with us would have wanted it. It wasn't Marston's "thing" it was something all of the city heads at the time had agreed upon and as we have seen with Las Vegas it may take time to stabilize. It doesn't happen overnight. PJ happens to be still alive and acting as the voice during this time of turmoil in the city of New York.

Lately a few exuberant youngsters come forward to their leaders and people that are not their leaders expressing a strong desire for the experiment to end.. Usually in private and using language not fitting for the people they are speaking to.

Taking an approach similar to the following example is not the way to get things done.

The above is also an example of how not to go about getting permission to move to Chicago and try your luck at leadership.

If you are told no accept the answer and work harder to prove to your leader you deserve it. DO NOT take the "I'll pester my boss everywhere I can until he shoots me or says yes" road, it doesn't lead to good places. Put as much effort into proving yourself as you would into running your own crime family.

Like Las Vegas, Chicago will have to prove themselves deserving and ready for the Experiment to end.

This is NOT just Poisonous Jelly's decision, but the rest of the pre-war city heads and representatives as well. Many seem to forget he was a part of a similar experiment...

Hopefully the city will see stabilization and earn the trust of those leaders in other cities soon so we can populate New Orleans before it gets closed to our kind like previous cities have seen happen to their once booming industries.

An interesting perspective, MidnightQueen.  But what if the youngsters aren't being given their due chance?  What if they have been working hard but the powers-that-be are abusing their contacts and preventing progress?  What if the powers-that-be are rotten to the core, blasphemous double-dealers obsessed with their own little corner of the world to the detriment of honourable men?

What then?

What if the youngsters are working hard, working quietly, and working effectively and the powers-that-be "pester" them in an unGodly manner?  What then?

What if they're not rotten to the core Mr_Kuklinski? What if you're just making things up as you have done 18903890839213 times before? What if you can't actually see everything in every crew and those people are not working hard? What if their leaders are just putting out a little test of patience to them by delaying it a little while to see if they snap?

What if you're just talking shit as usual? What if you're a deluded fool who actually got on with and worked with some people in power in your blood's past? What if you just pick fault with whoever is at the top?

What if we're all just bored to shit with you repeating yourself but putting in a different name every time? What if you actually tried to not be a dick for once? What if you didn't have this "me against the world" complex? What if you could actually do anything you plan to do? What if you didnt post threads about a kill you were supposed to do butt never actually happened? What if you gave up trying to kill Prem because he was "too tough to kill"?

I am a firm believer,chicago should not be held down to low ranks...then more families can learn to communicate,better among their selves,,,then all cities... THAT MY FRIEND WOULD BE A GOOD THING !
