In the AK vs. M16 fight, all I know is from hearsay. However, this is what my personal opinion is after talking to a few firearms fanatics in my area: Under perfect conditions, the M16 is better. However, conditions are almost never perfect. Go with the AK unless you are completely prepared with your '16 ahead of time. I say this because of the higher accuracy that the M16 possesses, and isn't that what really counts in a combat situation? Even if you're wearing full body armor, a bullet to the chest will AT LEAST knock you down, at least with military caliber. However, the M16 does have the following problems: Gas powered loading system: Useful and reliable only if you have gas. Otherwise, nothing comes out. The AK only needs bullets to fire because of its recoil chambering system. Cleaning: M16s must be kept in pristine condition to be fired properly, otherwise the have the tendency to jam. There was once a report of an AK-47 from the vietnam war being dug out from under a vehicle after it had been buried for several months. The U.S. officer who found it provided a demonstration of just how "rugged" it was by firing its full clip without cleaning it first. Seriously, the AK is one of the most reliable guns on the planet. |

I have two ar-15s modeling military style m4's etc etc ive shot close to 8-10 throusand rounds threw each and still havnt had a jam. And thats using dirty russian but oh so cheap wolf ammo. |

AK47 it is used by a lot of people in iraq and afghanistan so i would say AK47. and its an awesom gun on CoD 4 Modern Warfare. :) |

Hm, I tried both, AK jams more the M16. but more effective. but sometimes I like to keep it simple. so I go for P99 Walther :D |
