The ak47 and the m4 is the best the m16 sucks

You do know a M4 and M16 are esstinaly the same weapons, and in retrospect an m16 would do more damage because it has a full 20 length barrel allow the velocity of the 5.56 to reach peak perforamce, when in the short 14.5 barrel the m4 has, it doesn;t have the range as a M16 does.

 I thought it was the cartridge of the round that gave it its velocity. With the AK, the 7.62 round would just pass through your body and shatter bones as they made contact, with the m16/m4 5.56 round, it would ricochet off your bones. So if it entered your chest, it possibly could exit through your neck. What we did in the army was grind one side of the slug on the ground so when we shot it, it would tumble in the air for a wicked wound.

The longer the barrel length the higher the velocity can be due to more gas being used instead of  burned off, also increases accuarcy due to more revoltions.

I doubt anyone would be dumb enough to do that, unstable bullet flight, equals unstable accuary, lets risk the chance of hitting one of our friendlys because we grinded a bullet on the ground, or maybe risk the bullet bouncing around in the barrel and getting stuck so when the next one fires it blows the gun up in my face.   Really hope someone wasn't that stupid

Both suck the new H/K XM8 which will be he gun of the US ARMY is better

but if you have to choose AK is better because the bullet has more stopping power and the US Army using Green Tipped 5.56x45mm which are armor piercing which in theory sound amzing but

when you fire the gun the bullet goes right through making a clean whole with minimal blood lose so unless oyu hit them in the spleen or coronaty artery or head they will keep going unitl you put 5 or 6 holes in them

but if you use the Ak the bullet goes into them and shatters in the body creating maximum stopping power and blood loss

plus Ak47 is cheaper, easer to field strip and diagnose problems, easier and wuicker top maufacutre and the ammo is cheaper so

out of these to sup par rifles AK 47 beats the even crappier M16

Both of these guns are amazing but different countries and governments use different weapons. Now take for instance, The United States of America. We use the classic M-16 while other european countries such as Russia and China use the modern day AK-47 for their choice of military weaponary.

Now to get back to the topic at hand I would rather be firing the m16 just for the base fact that I have not fired a ak so I would go with what I know and that is firing a m16 is so much fucking fun.

I am gonna have to go with Osama and say AK-47. But in fact there are so many better weapons i would have such as the dessert eagle and in effect any sniper rifle with long range cappacity. But all in all i have to say is that if it fires bullets, it's good enough for me.

lmao the HK-8 sux and is not the future weapon of the US army neither is the M8 lol the HK-8 can't surpass the MP-5 in especially in accuracy but the M-16 is better than the ak47 the ak is very inaccurate and is not as powerful as the m-16 in terms of stripping and fixing it it beats the M-16 but besides that it pretty much sucks

and if you got hit in your coranary artery by the M-16 i highly doubt you would jus keep walking thats almost insta kill

and Cgray the Desert Eagle is the worst gun for close up or long range, it is so big that a little person like you would probably have there shoulder blown off from the recoil and you can't shoot it more then once a minute usually and as for the sniper rifle is better this is a question on what Assault rifle is better for Field COmbat Ak or M16 and i would rather have an assault rifle then a massive sniper rifle when i am in comabt becasue you can rapid fire and clear a room with an Assault Rifle but not a sniper rifle

You do realise that the xm8 would have the same exact stopping power as an m4 and m16 would have.

THey are set up for same barrel length and same cartidige.

It is also midly amussing that the first test rifles the Marines got, 75% of the rifles experienced hand guard melting from full auto fire due to cheaply made parts.

THe goverment also cancled all contrats regarding the xm8 in early 2007.

O and when the US army first used the m-16 as the standard assault rifle of the US army soldiers were getting so many headshots the gov had to investigate to make sure they weren't executing people 

Plz tell me when you hear something like that about the ak id rather have a 3 round burst m-16 and be accurate and actually hit my target instead of using the sloppy ak and hit everything around my target
