Gohan stepped out of the shadows and into the streets, a grim look on his face and blood on his hands. He stood there a moment, his hands still shaking with nerves. With a deep breath, he pulled a cigarette from his jacket and lit it with his zippo. After a couple long drags, he raised his head up and surveyed the crowd. Many faces looked up at him in anger, or with tears in their eyes. With another puff from his cigarette, he stepped forward to address them, and do what must be done.

So. Earlier this evening, as you will have seen by now, Bella Vista was removed from Philadelphia. It was a sad thing, something that I have been battling myself over for a long time now. The last thing I wanted to do was destroy the person who bought me my original HQ here in South Philly. But after a conference with the other godfather here in Philadelphia, it was decided that the time had come for action.

If you will remember back to when Frank_Sinatra fell, you will remember that it took Philadelphia almost a month to fill his district. This was due to argument between Bianca and myself over who should be “City Head.” Numerous people, many of them from outside the city, urged me to remove Bianca. They expressed their doubts in her, they thought her only in her position because of Frank, they thought she might still be connected to him. But I still believed in her, and stood up for her time and time again.

It was obvious that both of us wanted it, and so I suggested we compromise. No one Godfather would be city head, we would work as a committee of three. This was agreed upon, only to be undone days later, when Bianca came to me about the position of “city head” again. After a long conversation, I gave in, and let her have it. She originally intended to move her HQ to Old City District, and place Roberto Carlos in Bella Vista. I was able to convince her of the obvious waste of funds this would be, and we agreed to only move Jack_Carter. But I left the meeting feeling bitter and walked on.

Things went fairly smoothly over the next few weeks, until the NPC incident. After we took on the NPCs Bianca so desperately wanted, I stood one captain down, and found out that he was actually not loyal to me, but to Bianca. He had shared with her convos we had had about possibly removing her, which had already been long cleared up within my circle. At that time we had no intentions of removing her, but her paranoia would last until her death.

A while down the road, you will remember an incident involving one Deadmoney and a man called Whitey. A slight disagreement in the streets turned into an unauthed shot and one of my men dead. I of course asked for a death in return, but Bianca would not have it as such. After another argument, no verdict was reached, and she demoted him, before he retired, ending the problem on his own. A conversation between Bianca and one of my own showed that she agreed with Deadmoney’s actions, that she was unhappy that the people who had been accused of bringing Frank_Sinatra’s death were being welcomed into Philly. They did not wish for the city’s doors to be opened to certain people due to their past. This irked me quite a bit. The way the problem was handled was poor, and did nothing to ease my inner circle’s continued doubts in Bianca. For months I had stood up for her, and told my guys to give her a chance. This was the last straw for them, but I on the other hand, was not ready to take her life.

Until about a week ago. It may seem minor, but the now deceased BuddyNielson was taken from my district to be a hand in Bella Vista. Not a word was said to me, not even Buddy himself felt it necessary to ask me my opinion. I was not happy, and was convinced that Bella Vista now held little to no respect for me and my district.

After a conversation with Jack and others, we decided the time had come to act. Jack and I agreed that Philly would not stand unified as long as Bianca was here, and that the lack of trust we held for each other could not be ignored any longer. The reasons for our distrust will not be shared, as it would not be in good taste to bring forward the thoughts and opinions of those that ask for anonymity.

Gohan jumped, his cigarette was still in his hand, and had burned all the way down to his fingers as he spoke. Throwing the cigarette down, he pulled out another and lit it.

I suppose that’s all I have to say on the matter. I have been generous enough to give you my reasons, but I do not expect everyone to like or accept them. Let the debating/whining/trolling begin.

As I respect your thoughts, "Let the debating/whining/trolling begin." Seems a tad bit unfair to some who that may disagree with your actions and automatically assume it's not worthy enough of decent conversation. Lies and deceit shall prosper no?

You do however state an ordeal with BuddyNeilson. You couldn't have been that upset being you made him your RHM who then decided to terminate his own life. 

As much as your points seem valid, or at least to those like myself who are in a different city and would have no way of knowing what really happens over there, there seem to be some weaknesses within your reasoning. Then again I could be wrong.

I am many things, but I am not inactive. Don't know where you've been the past few months old boy, but I've been right here.

What's a character? 

I'm confused. Either way, you played your cards the way you thought you had to play them. Whether or not it eventually comes back to haunt your decision making is yet to be seen. Either you succeed or you don't. 

"'Spineless and it took him this long to make a move?' Please... I was indeed one of the people who was pushing for this removal due to a couple of decisions I had seen Bianca make. Her promise to Gohan that they wouldn't let Frank's death hold back the city from growing, but she wanted to hold a grudge against those that were labeled as 'the cause of his death'. Also wouldn't allow us to receive certain helpfrom the cities when we needed them during the NPC's, because of a particular's bloodline, even though they were loyal to another crew and family. If we were accepting people to help, we shouldn't have limited the help given because of who it was. If the other CL's and GF's had enough faith and loyalty in their member to help us with the NPCs, then that's the way it should have been. A NPC spawn that she pushed the hardest for.

After Whitey's death, she claimed for it to be alright... I, for one, was NOT okay with this. She didn't want people from the YAOWA crew bloodline to be in our city... Told me this personally. It annoyed me and pissed me off right. How are we suppose to grow if we are restricting people because of where they came from months ago? We can't. I'm a firm believer in giving people chances and fresh starts until they do wrong by me. We weren't even able to give them the chance because it would upset our 'city head'. I took it personal to know that very loyal and important people to our district were unwelcome. Those people now being my own hands for my crew. People I consider the opposite of what she was trying to make them out to be. I don't hold people back just because they came from somewhere else a while back, and I won't.

Also to note, hiding SRs and not updating them? That's highly unfair to the rest of the city that works hard and doesn't hide them. Take it as you want... Either she was hiding them, or being too lazy to update them. Either way, not very good. We didn't want to slaughter everyone in the district, but most wanted to go down with their ship or not get disrespectful things said to them for wanting to live. Some of the people even said they would have helped us take down Bianca if we would have asked. Not a risk I'm liking to take to be honest, or a risk I would see anyone else taking if they were in the position.

And finally, the other unhappy families and others who will not be named because we respect their wishes; who she was making very unhappy in the process. Snaking recruits to suicide from other families to join hers is HIGHLY disrespectful to people and not the way it should be handled. The member should talk to their CL, let them know they would be happier somewhere else that there is no hard feelings. Hell, even have the CLs talk because chances are they will work something out with you. I don't like seeing an unhappy member when they could be motivated somewhere else. I don't take it to heart, I respect it. The way she went about those things that we were told to us by others, isn't good for business in the city. She was making them unhappy, she was making us unhappy. The ruling of the other two Godfathers made it clear what needed to be done for the best of the city.

It might be a step back today, but we won't have Bianca making others unhappy, showing no respect to the people leading the other districts, and getting upset when we want to give people a chance. I think that itself is a step forward towards a brighter future."

And to be fair, I'd hold the same opinion if it were Bianca standing here delivering the same speech on why she removed Gohan, regardless of what the reasons were or if they were valid reasons or not.

Frank stands amongst the crowd as Gohan speaks. Mid way through the speech, the drunkard grabs a beer, pounds a hole in its side, pops the top, and shotguns it. Taking a swig from a bottle wrapped in brown paper, the drunk swaggers to the front of the crowd with a glimmer in his eye.

H-hay. Guys. I juss have one queshtun here. When yous removed Bella Vista... hell of a splash it made in th'Delaware river, am I right? Musta taken a few backhoes and stuch.

Drunky swigs another gulp from his bottle and laughs at his own stupid jokes. He's too drunk to tell if the crowds are appreciating his humor or not. The old sot leaves the spotlight, stumbles into a nearby alleyway, and collapses into a pile of rags and old beer cans.

ZombieFrankSinatra, I see you are very butt hurt, and for what reason? If two thirds of Philadelphia did not feel united with Bianca among us, then we made the right decision.  You would want us to keep someone who was obviously paranoid?  In all of my time I have been in Philly she did not once take the time to talk to me first, I had to approach her to get to know her.  She didn't take the time to talk to members of the other districts.  I almost never even see her around, it was as if she was starting to slip back to the old country anyway.

As Timon has said, we might have stepped back in one way, but in all other ways our city as a whole is stronger, and more united.  We will not be as easily broken as we would have with Bianca in the middle.

Think about whose got more to lose. Think about that city you just finally got. To acquire it and lose it all in the same day seems pointless, doesn't it?

I'm going to jump in here as I enjoy a good old argument, especially where I've got zero vested interest in either party.

Frank, you have an issue with Gohan involving Lynch, yet Lynch isn't involved directly in the recent actions. He was mentioned as a friend that has assisted Gohan with decision making. Not exactly uncommon in this thing of ours, we all have valued friends in other cities that we may consult due to their impartiality. Now your throwing dirt around because of an old conversation that may or may not have took place, what exactly is it you hope to gain from that? I'll tell you right now, it does nothing to aide your argument here, in fact it weakens it, it only shows that Lynch is indeed a trusted friend of Gohan just like he himself already admitted.

Whether or not Lynch would have assisted Philly in removing Cpt-Harris isn't relevant at all. If you think Chicago will jump up and take notice of this and kill Lynch and Philly, you are very likely mistaken, they will brush it off as the usual shit stirring associated with those who have recently lost their parent, at least I would if I were in their shoes.

Now onto the reasons for the war; As I've said the war is nothing to do with me at all, but I know from a former NY leader that Bianca has taken members without even consulting that leader and when confronted hoped to simply smooth the matter over with some money, that didn't sit well with me, but alas I never saw any such actions first hand and all business dealings I had with Bianca went very smoothly. The only reason I mention this is to show the other impartial people that such events did take place and those offended by the actions weren't limited to Bianca's colleagues in Philly. As their City Head Bianca's actions made Philly look bad as a whole, so really for me that would have been reason enough to end her life were I in Gohan's shoes.
