I don't speak out in the streets much, but this statement, among other things, has brought me out here. First of all, using BlackWidow's real life name is putting a personal touch on your statement, bringing real life into the game, which is in my opinion, a big no no. Pretty much everyone can agree with me on that. If you had any decency, that should not be an issue....but I really don't think you and decency go together at this point. Secondly, BlackWidow is a very respectable player who is knowledgeable, helpful, and one of the friendliest people in this thing of ours. That alone could possibly be a reason for her having a highly respected bloodline...or maybe the fact that she is just an all around awesome person to have as a friend, in game and out of character. I personally know her better than anyone here, so I really do not think you have the right to spout out bullshit at this point about things you really don't know. Good job jumping to your conclusions.

Yeah it's always the same post war, and yes these people will be in crews again with the people they just insulted and happily donate their furthering their supposed enemies progress.

The truth is there are way to change things, but the truth is changing things from the top down not so much.  Yeah is frustrating to lose a member of the family but thats the life we lead the minute we join as an associate.

In regard to people who stayed out the war like some have mentioned, we can look at it different ways, and only time will give an answer:

1.   They were smart enough with communications to intertwine themselves elsewhere.

2.   They can't be trusted as turned the back on their own, so will turncoat on others.

Behavior, well this is something that progressively gets worse each war between how personal at someones lineage things get or the behavior at funerals; it seems where the hold hand nature of the organizations that existed for a time period isn't around anymore and things have become more forceful is not for everyone especially when people work at different paces.  My father died after his gun malfunctioned shooting at someone and left him open.  He knew the risks but he proved to his city the rumors about him when he joined were bs made from paranoid self serving minds.

In regard to maples line as a war general as came up, well is not her greatest skill as far too trusting and well has dished out abuse or threatened suicide in the past when confronted with it.  Maple held Chi together in Jake's absence regularly even if the post Jake era has felt like waiting for Chi to fall especially with the internal conflicts.  As much as mailing stoeis and pm'ing people to pull together and be united people remember the failings which let czylharz turn on itself.  the warring which once held chi together kept things working and we will see if turns NY the same way with time.

As for people talking about things whether war, take down, the fact is surprise attacks are how things work, chi never used to warn people before they shot them, why should NY? and for leaked sr's etc, people are always gonna be bitter over their family deaths an.  d turn on those.  Sometimes have to choose the enemy your gonna make.

Will be an interesting few months i guess, but i am glad my other worldly business will mean i don't have to watch it judging on the behavior of some over this event.

Seriously? I am sorry but you may have a lot of ancestors to these shores according to your  "quote" but calling people who don't jump into a war isn't being a "traitor" This is a business. People aren't here to be besties and great friends they are here to make money. Thats what being a mobster is all about. Have you ever thought that maybe the families who didn't get involved had good reason not to? Not every war is meant to be a mass world wide event. skip i have had lots of ancestors, but each of them remembered who put them in that place and aided them.  Just coz this is business, still means you have to think where left afterwards.  Part of the success many empires have had is by breaking people apart bit by bit especially now with unfilled districts leading to NPC invasions.

We can all say people have friends on both sides, but how often do we see people mention they thought someone was a friend or ally after they have had their family taken down?

Princess, this isn't very strange at all. Besides your reply being completely out of character (which is becoming the norm of the streets) is silly. You want to point it out that their post is out of character with your post. Another very common thing is referring to people by their IRC name instead of their in game name. I knew BlackWidow as Val even before I even spoke one word to her. If you use your real name as an irc nick name, skype name, etc it's pretty much fair game to slip it into your "in character" (and by in character I mean severely ooc) post. 

Also, women of our world do get things more quickly/easier/frequently more often because they simply have boobs. Maybe it's not a solid fact, but it happens all the time. Is there a difference between being nice and flirting? You'll probably reply with "OF COURSE THERE IS" but I wouldn't put it past the majority of the girls on our streets, if not all of them, to have used flirting but called it being nice person, to get something they wanted (something they wanted, a place they wanted, a position they wanted, money, credits). 

I was on irc avenue recently and overheard a conversation of a man talking about his incog character. He played as a female and spoke of the amounts of free credits and money he received from men. He didn't even have to do anything for them, he was simply nice. 

You may think you're just being a nice person, but others may take it as flirting. To you BlackWidow is an awesome player, to others she's just another girl.

To my personal knowledge, BlackWidow isn't a big fan of hand outs. She pays her dues and she can stand on her own two feet here without help. It is true that there are girls who use their feminine ways to their advantage, but does it sound like a woman who has turned down auth countless times  seem to be out for power? If I can remember clearly, BlackWidow's bloodline has been under Amethyst's bloodline before and earn her way just like everyone else, was offered auth and turned it down. The same pattern has continued here, so I honestly think your point of her being "just another flirty girl who uses her feminine charm to her advantage" is invalid because she has been the same with her past female leader as well.
