| Pickpocket Scale Up | Started by: ScaryGuy on Aug 05, '14 22:51 |

I think this is a great idea. I apologize if I repeat anything said, but I'm mainly going off of a few key posts. If your skill is higher, in my opinion you should be able to get more money, and rank can factor in some. Similar to how a gun scales in my opinion. Although I feel there should be some cap. You're not gonna pick a pocket and grab 10mil. Maybe if you mug, due to stealing a brief case or something, to make it semi realistic. So I support this. Of course it will probably go through a few tweaks before being implemented, if it does. |

I do not like this. People will be buying bodyguards to protect themselves no matter their rank. That money is better spent for the family. Less will be tributed. This is not good for a family. Also, this will great more whining then lead to rules. Very few bother to whine now. They will whine over possibly 50k per hour. In fact, I would guess random shots for pp would rise too. |

you wouldnt like to see more people use bodyguards? i would love to see a family all fully IWP trained not only does it give more incentive to train a better gun it helps show unity, and CL's have the ability to turn on taxes to still earn cash from their family members even if they whine about it it should be simple, you say to them "prevent it or return the favor" |

No I would not. Not everyone is meant to train guns. Not everyone has ability to earn enough cash to get credits or can buy them for IAs every 4 days. The money wasted on bgs for people who fill other spots besides shooting would be bad. I also think some people would get tired of losing 50k and start shooting. It is not small amount to everyone especially if they are not able to be on all the time to earn. I think this would have bad consequences for family funds and make random shots happen. |

taxes are not auto anymore either. you can turn them on then people not pay because they have wasted too much on bgs and/or lost it on pps. This would likely have bad ripple effect. |

you enjoy seeing unprotected family members? just becauseyou have a gun doesnt mean you are meant to use it nor does it mean you need BG's, and just because you have bg's doesnt mean you have a decent gun. if these people get tired of losing 50k a hour perhaps they should bank their cash....ive been around a long time and i never really thought of 50k as a big amount, just remember if you read further on we are working on a percentage of cash in pocket to be earned from pickpocketing....taxes may not be automatic but if they are on their is more than likely a rule saying "pay your taxes" and if crew rules arent followed then there is a way to deal with that, the cash lost on the new change to pp wouldnt be anywhere near enough to the cash lost on gambling and this i know from my previous crew leader/gf experience |

We have forts that offer basic protection, more than adequate. I have stated what I think. I do not like this idea. I do not agree with you or your thoughts. I am leaving it at that. |

forts do not play a role in pp nor do they do anything when your family travels, bg's do |

Bodyguards should be for protection against shots, not solely for pp. The way it is, bgs are used as they should be. This would cause people to buy bgs just to avoid pp. I find that counterproductive and a waste of game funds. Also as i said larger amounts will cause people to get frustrated and there will likely be more random shots. Anything further would be repeating myself. I am well aware of game mechanics too. |

then you know that if i have 1 bg they would need atleast 6 successful pp to PP me as it stands, bg's are in effect as it is before any changes lol |

If you bank your money you won't need bgs. |

| It's called risk vs reward. Players accept that when they take those chances. I'll run the risk of stealing 100k from you, even if you may shoot me. | |

I am against anything that promotes people pickpocketing more. I am strictly PP unfriendly. I already hate the money people may get from me, I certainly wouldn't want to see it increased. |

everyone is essentially not friendly to pickpocketing thats not the discussion however, were looking to make it more realistic where if you stuck your hand in a vault you wouldn't only walk away with a couple pennies |

No point debating PP status with Anarchy ScaryGuy, she absolutely loathes even the thought of being PP'd. |
