I for one think the idea is going to bring down visitors flying to your citys thus bringing down the money you make for yourself off the godfather tax, this could be a bad move, since I am wondering are you going to have someone whos job is to sit there and see who flys in and out of the citys all day and night? Also I dont believe you have mentioned what is going to happen to anyone or any family that declines to pay the tax? Junkie thinks to himself what happend to the good times of trying to make the cities grow and attract more people there All the same best of luck with this idea I personaly wont be flying to New Orleans or Philly anymore and will take my business and crack downs els where. |

BuddahDuck walks out into the street Ok, after looking at this from different angles this idea could work and could fail. It is that simple no need to come out here and say "this is dumb blah blah." Its pointless to waste your time on doing so. I personally think if you enter someone elses city they should get at least some type of cut because one your entering their city. I can understand letting Gangster,Goombas,Earners, and WiseGuy slip away on this but not Made Man and higher ranks. I seen alot of rich Made Men and higher ranks flying in and out of Philly and New Orleans that have not even thinking about that they are entering someones city making money off their drug dealers and their 7-11s. This is all I have to say before I loose all of control of this subject just because you have a group of people crying about it. BuddahDuck walks away pulling a freashly rolled joint out of his coat pocket and lighting it up |

After long discussions with Stapled and a couple of my trusted advisors, regrettably we came to the decision that visiting Philadelphia and New Orleans isn't necessary for Chicago to prosper. So Chicago will not be entering These two fine cities again! All the best JimmyTheLionHeart and good luck with this venture. |

| Junkie I think the end of my speech clearly states what will happen. You just need to take a step back and re-listen to my original speech. | |

It's about time people acted like we're part of organised crime syndicates. Kudos. |

Marietta felt the need to tax people while they were shooting up a storm in her city. She wasn't benefiting anything at the time while members from other families were gaining everything when she was not. The tax went into effect and she benefits. Everyone is happy. There is a big difference between Godfather Marieta's case and that of Godfather JimmyTheLionHeart's when it comes to the taxation in their respective cities. >As stated above,Godfather Marieta IS NOT benefiting from all the shootings that is taking place in her city while other families benefit by improving their aims and shooting skills. >Godfather JimmyTheLionHeart IS already benefiting from all business transactions that are being made in his cities thru the tax that IS already being implemented. So if I may restate some parts of the quoted statement above it will probably go something like this... "He IS already benefiting at the time while other families were NOT gaining everything (for they are already being taxed). The NEW TAX went into effect and he benefits MORE.And based on what has already been said by other families,NOT everyone is happy." Any way it is just my personal opinion based on my observation.Others who are more experienced in this thing of ours may have a better opinion. |

My apologies to some errors in my previous statement. It should have been Godmother Marietta. |

She approaches with caution, listening to those around her. Sir, if I may have just a moment of your time. She smiles as Jimmy turns to her. I just want some clarification on the subject of Captains. We are not an individual family, we are part of our Boss' family. In my case Prozac is my boss, I am in his family as a Captain. I'm sure you get the picture. Does that include the Captains or do you expect us to pay full price as families are expected to? This can get rather pricey for those of us that do not benefit from a portion of all crimes committed in our cities being directly paid to us already. Technically we are one family. She stands waiting for Jimmy to answer patiently. |

bboydurante, I clearly said Godfather Jimmy was just taxing more. Any respected Made Man can come up with that kind of money. And I believe this is the first time any Godfather has implemented this tax on a city besides the one he already gets. As the Godfather said earlier, the taxes are at a set rate. He cannot raise them or lower them at will. As I'd like to hear experience come out and give an opinion, I don't know what advice or words they can give due to this being new. |

"It was the same with the Detriot tax. Marietta felt the need to tax people while they were shooting up a storm in her city." I gave my earlier opinion based on this part of the statement that was stated earlier. And to sum up what I have stated earlier,Detroit tax IS different from the tax that will be implemented in Philly and N.O.The reasons for it being different from each other has already been mentioned. How ever,it is also true that a Godfather has the right and power to decide what rules to be implemented in the cities that he controls. But again as my dear grand mother used to tell me,"A horseman's whip could only hit as far as the whip could reach."A Godfather's control ends when another Godfather's or Godmother's control begins. |

"its time we keep more of the money from our cities, in our own cities." Jimmy I quote this from you speech. What does that even mean if your allowd to come to Detroit, Chicago or NY and be welcomed in to sell your drugs run your business ect, why should made men and above not be allowed to go to your city without paying this tax. |

| Hellboy why should we be allowed to pay them. I mean Det. members don't have to pay the taxes for their city so why should we? | |

Angel I understand that captains are initially part of the main family but at the same time they are given there own base for operations. We are reasonable business men and am sure that we can come to some sort of agreement. Should you and Prozac wish to have a sit down with me and Sal to work something out then please let us know. |

She steps toward Jimmy and Sal, keeping a safe distance between the three of them. Greetings sirs, I hope you are well. She bows her head in respect. After lengthy discussions with Don Prozac it is the decision of Los Angeles and the single family that occupies it we will not be taking part in your taxation program. Furthermore we request that you deny any and all requests by our family members to pay the individual tax for entry into your cities. Our family will be leaving your cities as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience while we make this transition. We wish you luck with your venture and hope you enjoy your prosperity. She again, bows her head in respect and takes leave of the city of Philadelphia. |

I don't understand what everyone's complaining about. Godfather Jimmy has every right to enact this tax. From what I can see, though, it does not appear as though many families will be allowing their members into the cities of Philadelphia and New Orleans anymore, so it will be interesting to see if this will adversely affect his income since so many will no longer be doing crime at these locales. It seems as though the families that are barring their members from visiting the cities are not making any distinction for rank--they're telling their entire family to steer clear. And for those that continue to inquire about the punishment for breaking this law, it was clearly stated in the original speech. I'm sure the Philly and New Orleans hit squads will be on red alert. However, I don't particularly like the notion of someone weighing whether or not to disobey the request of a city's Godfather depending on the severity of the consequences. Bravo, Godfather Jimmy, on your decisiveness in this matter. Every one of the Outhere Brothers has been warned to remain outside of New Orleans and Philadelphia's city limits, and you have my word that we will not contest any related activity by your family. |

Wise words, Alaric, I agree. Whether the idea is popular or not, they're Godfather Jimmy's cities and the privilege is his. Everyone else can pay, or not as it seems to be in most cases, or leave the cities. I don't agree with the change, nor do many it seems, but that's irrelevant in the context of the cities. Best of luck with it Jimmy. |

Philly will remain tax free until wensday The 25th of February following in suite with New Orleans. Seeing as this is a new tax implementation I do not want to confuse people by making NO and Philly Payment days different. Thank you all. |
