| The lion, the witch and the wackback. | Started by: CristianoRonaldo on Oct 14, '14 21:25 |

Cristiano walks towards a gathered crowd of people wondering what was the cause for the bloodshed that we have seen today. Cristiano walked here straight from the battle without cleaning himself up, covered in specks of blood. He steps forward and raises a hand to quiet down the crowd. It was time to get down to the point.
“I am here to explain the reason for today’s deaths and nothing more. I will keep things short, sweet, and simple. There’s a couple reasons that tie in with why ChristianTheLion and his district were removed, so listen up meow.”
Cristiano paces in front of the crowd, brushing himself off before he begins to go into a bit more detail.
“Not so long ago I had a member that joined my district named Vash. The day this man joined, we were in a discussion and he admitted to me that he had intentions of killing others employed bodyguards. I didn’t need a moron in my district, so I had the man dropped from the family and sent out a notice to the other leaders of our world, asking them not to give the man any work and explained to them the intentions of the mans bodyguard shooting. To my surprise, even after asking people not to take this man in, I quickly find out that ChristianTheLion had taken Vash into his family.
I went to the Godfather of Corktown and asked him why he would take the man in after I had asked that no one do so, and explained my clear reason. He told me that he was going to take a chance on the guy and that a member of his family would suicide if he were to take action on Vash, after I requested that Vash die. He was going to disrespect a simple request I made and hinder relationships over this is basically the way I seen it. Vash eventually died without me pushing any further, so I let that end there, but remembered that ChristianTheLion disrespected what I asked of him, and then refused to follow up on my request. Not good for business.
After the slap in the face, things started to go a little more downhill for Corktown. They had a member that mailed several crewleaders saying there was going to be war on the 303303. Next, they had a member that had authorization to shoot at any rank, while he was only a Goomba. They showed trust in the Goomba and he took a shot at a crewleader from the Bronx. A week ago, ChristianTheLion started to inquire to the 303303 about an attack on himself, claiming that he heard he was going to be attacked by Taegan, Visas, and Desmand. Lovers: Not fighters.
Then we got members of the 303303 together and decided that ChristianTheLion had to die for the multiple mistakes made. After hearing today that they were on the skiddish, we moved ahead with action to save our districts from being attacked, and killed them all.
Rest in peace, ChristianTheLion. I hope your son learns from this mistake.
All killer, no filter.”
Cristiano nods to the crowd and turns his back to them. He makes his way into the hotel behind him to buy a room and get himself cleaned up. |

| So you killed a entire district over ONE family's actions? That makes a lot of sense, a lot of good brothers died becuase one man decided to be disrespectful, why wasn't it just his family that had been removed not his entire district. | |

I guess it makes sense, if you don't think about it. My father had no idea what was going on behind the scenes, neither did 95% of the city. A simple removal of those involved would've been better. Then again, the dead have no say, they're all dead. Good luck. |

BrickIsDead, sadly, that ONE family/ONE man, was the Godfather of Corktown. So, when a Godfather pisses off other Godfathers, then you kinda have to expect that that Godfather will both be removed himself, and have those supposedly loyal to him removed also. Both yourself and Dominick mention the removal of the entire district. Now... why not? How were the other Godfathers to know who may have been willing to fight to the death for their Godfather? How were the other Godfathers to know who would remain loyal? And why would they want in their district those who aren't loyal? Why shouldn't the whole district have died? It's a war, people die. It sucks, but our world is a world of blood and death. When you make the choice to join a crew, you have to understand that there's a fair chance that you're going to die with that crew. Whatever your rank. Protection orders and letting people live after a takedown, as I understand it, is a relatively new concept in our world. My bloodline has always lived in a time of protection orders, but from stories of those going far further back than me, that wasn't always so. And it's definitely been debated before whether or not protection orders are in themselves actually a good thing or not. But, either way, they're entirely up to the discretion of the attacker and aren't an automatic right. I do find it a touch bizarre that people come out and complain about the lack of a pro order as though there is some entitlement for people to not go down with the ship. Sure, sometimes you will, and that's fine, but I don't understand how this became an expected right. |

You were in his city meaning you had faith in his leadership so yes you go down if the leader YOU decided to follow screws up and the fact that people complain everytime is just sad and shows disloyalty and that all you care about is your own hide. Have some back bone and strive to be better than your parents and keep going. |

My lineage is not one to speak in the streets, but I do want to just make something clear. Considering my mother was the one who took Vash in, you sent those mails out after she had already invited him. You didn't check to see that he was already in a family when you did so. And we had a conversation about this. That's about all I have to say on that, I'm not sure what you're talking about with someone threatening to suicide as my mother never said anything like that, and she was his sponsor. Anyways, shit happens. RIP to the fallen. |

Malcom, I really hope when you swallow your bullet your son has nothing to say about it. However, most likely he will, it's natural. So I'll ignore the fact you'll most likely become a hypocrite. To say something in regards to the event doesn't mean you have any less of a backbone. There are innocents, and not every takedown is the entire city population wiped. There are varying degrees.. I'll continue forward, as there's no other way. Now, you're right, my father chose to follow Detroit. However, my father was completely unaware of the moves of leadership, completely out of the loop. There was never any faltering of loyalty, I don't see why you'd mention that. Maria, you're also very correct and it's hard to bring a counter to your statements. My father would've most likely fought to the bitter end. However, had he known of such crimes of his Godfather, just like how Christian was afforded the oportunity on Ecstasy, who knows? Regardless, it's all business and what's done is done. I respect the move and understand it. Good luck to the new faction and I wish for only the best. |

Well considering my bloodline has died quite a bit and they have NEVER come to the street to bitch I would go with no I'm not a hypocrite because that's the life you can't deal with it don't start.
And yes it does mean they have less of a back bone if they would rather live than go down with their godfather. You don't sign up till you can weasel out when the going gets tough you sign up and the only way you leave is in a body bag.
If people wanna complain about the reason sure saying that's not legit or whatever sure get the bitterness out that's fine but when people complain that they also died when the leaders they decided to go with get taken out that is spineless and self preservative. |

Well congratulations MalcomReynolds, you're unique and one of a kind. I have never known anyone who remained emotionless after the loss of their father or mother. That's kinda weird. However, if that's a trait of your bloodline, good for you amigo. If everyone went down with their Godfather, there'd be a handful of leaders at the moment and members that should be gone at the moment. However, that's not the case and that's definitely a whole different can of worms. Self preservation is natural, that's survival, an instinct. You insult this, you insult all humans really. You're going to fight back if someone infringes your right to live because of self preservation and your duties. I wouldn't say you're spineless for that. I see what you're saying though, Malcom. I also very much admire it. Kudos to you amigo. |

Mako and Cantillon killed Detroit because ChristianTheLion caught them in a compromising position. I know it's true, because Desmand was taking pictures and witnessed the whole thing. He told me so. The 303 are fucking tyrants, man! How's that Seven? |

They're not fighting back though, they're parents are dead these people complaining are new to our world. Especially considering how people are always on about "give me a fresh start" or "I'm not my parents" but they get bring their anger to the people in our world over their parents. And this isn't an attack so much as a commentary on how routine it is for people to say their parents would've deserted their leaders. |
