Elsa finishes watching the dolphin shows and starting to feel hungry.

"Hmm, I wonder if there is anything to eat right now"

She pulls out her map and looks at where the food area was at.

"Oh, well the food area is just around the corner right as I walk past where the giraffes are."

She puts the map back into her pocket and starts walking towards the food area.  On her way there, she saw lions, tigers, she saw some hippos as well. 

"Hmm, I wonder when I'll see the giraffes.  I'm starting to get a bit to hungry now."

She hears her stomach growling and then suddenly she saw the food court and starts walking a bit faster.  She looks around at all the different places to eat.  She looks around and sees pizza, hot dogs, corn dogs, chips, drinks, salads, and many more items.  She thinks to herself.

"Hmm,  I think maybe I'll get a slice of pizza with a coke. I think that should keep me full for the rest of the day."

Elsa has been thinking a lot and need to relax.  She loves stopping by at the zoo because it relaxes her so much.  She walks in and smiles.

"I think I'll be hanging by the pandas today."

She goes and buy some popcorn before walking towards the panda section.  Once she got there, she sat down at the bench and looked at the pandas move around.

"Pandas are just so cute I could look at them all day."

He had always enjoyed zoos, but not so much aquariums. Maybe it was the size of the Ocean and how his mind couldn't comprehend anything larger than a puddle. Although one time he recalled winning a gold fish at a fair, that was a good day, or was it? He couldn't rightly remember, it was so long ago. Oh well. Either way, Ted found himself at the gates of the Zoo and walked towards the entrance; he wasn't sure if he would enjoy it, but he had always had an affinity to animals. 

"So how much is this then?" Fixing his eyes at the large sign he sighs and pulls out three dollars. Extortion, but not the mean kind of extortion he supposed. Just the other day he beat up a man for being loose four dollars, so he could understand to a point the importance of money, probably more than most others. "Three dollars, there ya go."

Setting the money onto the counter he smiles and walks inside, ready to peruse through all of the various animals. He wasn't entirely sure why he was here or exactly how long he would stay, but the lions were amusing enough that he forgot most of his questions. Normally shiny things had that effect on him, but this time the animals did more than enough of the trick. 

"I've always fancied myself a monkey man, lets see what this is all about." Walking into the exhibit he quickly walked back out, the hulking gorillas were nothing like the cute monkeys he had conjured into his mind. He quickly again forgot about his fears and skipped jovially down the Zoo's roads. This is when he met his enemy... the aquarium, its hulking size stood before him as a grimace worked its way onto his face. Just walk away, Ted thought to himself. Just go. There's plenty of other animals to see, you know you won't like this; just walk away and pretend you'd never saw it.

but he couldn't. No, he couldn't stop himself. Walking into the aquarium he held his breath and tightly clasped shut his eyes, taking the plunge into a world he knew his mind would not approve. Yet then he realized something, these creatures weren't scary at all, but rather magnificent; he found himself the opposite of scared, but rather in awe. Why had he always feared the sea? and that is when he saw the shark swim quickly past to remind him exactly why.

"Okay, I'm gone!" he ran out of the area as quickly as he had came, but at least he did it. Happy with his new found courage he picked up himself and walked out of the Zoo, it was an eventful day indeed.

Elsa wraps her scarf around her face tightly as she walks to the zoo. 

"The weather has suddenly gotten so cold."

She grabs her gloves from her jacket and puts them on. 

"Thanksgiving is tomorrow.  I better enjoy the zoo today before they are closed tomorrow."

She walks up and buys her ticket and walks into the zoo and looks at the map as where the penguins and polar bears at.  She starts to crave for some hot chocolate.  She walks over to the food court and orders a hot chocolate.

"Mmmmm.  Hot chocolate tastes so good and makes me feel warm all over."

She starts walking towards the penguins again and looks and sees that the zoo keeper was feeding them fishes.  She giggles as she watches the cute little birds waddling to get some food.  

"Hmmm, I wonder if Archy is here today?"

He had enjoyed his short visit to the zoo last time, but he had not had enough time to visit as much as he wanted.   Walking up to the entrance, he slipped the couple of bucks to the attendant as he stumbled through the gates,  Walking round he looked for the first seat he could find in a vain attempt to cover at least one section of this park today as he looked over the map of the zoo and started circling different regions in different color pens representing his level of interest.

Looking at the map, he frowned as he walked towards the first kiosk he could see before ordering a soda, he knew all this walking would be be thirsty work as he looked at the map, knowing the lion enclosure was at the furthest point in an attempt to make everyone see and buy everything along the way as well as enough soda to drink to flood the nile he thought to himself.

Drawing a serpent like Trail of what to visit he looked at the map, before marking them day one, day two and day three as he planned in advance for his future visits.  Sipping his soda he walked up to a bear enclosure as he watched the semi dosile animals just wander about and then sleep as he looked on pitifully at such a tamed mighty species.  

Moving on he looked at the pandas as he watched as the attempts to breed looked slow and painful as the pandas showed more interest in bamboo shoots then each other.  he grinned with mild amusement as he kept on walking past the koala bears and wondered if they were only designed for the fact of the cuddly toys made after them.

walking on he gulped down the soda and tossed it in the bin as he headed towards the aquarium. he loved the sharks even the non lethal ones,  They just had a special presence about them, just like that doorman at the club on fourth street when he was growing up.   Walking past the tanks, he looked at that almost vicious looks they naturally had, and smiled at the misunderstood creatures.   He thought to himself just like anyone else they are trying to survive.

Taking in his last spectacle of the day his tired legs looked over the big cats passing a kiosk he grabbed one of their coffees as he sipped it and sat in front of a cage of a siberian tiger, watching it walk round and roar, he thought of his last stint in jail and how he felt as the thought of frustration and claustrophobia, that need to be out and in the natural environment once more.  Quickly focusing on the lions he watched them and then the tigers behave similarly as they wandered round their pits.  Grinning he thought about how he wishes he had one in the porch for the next time the feds brought a warrant as they kicked in his door, what a surprise they would have.
 

Sipping the last of the coffee, he decided he had seen, thought and felt enough for the day as he made his way out with a new purpose.

Elsa turned her head for a second and saw that Archy was busy eating some popcorn and walking somewhere. 

"Archy! Hey!  Hold up your walking to fast for me!"

She runs to catch up next to Archy.

"Finally, I caught you.  You are always gambling I rarely catch you around.  What part of the zoo are you going to?"

She sees ice cream and buys a strawberry short cake ice cream bar.

"Yummy, haven't had this since I was a kid.  It brings back so many memories.  Sorry for being rude, but would you like one as well?" 

The ice cream is starting melt and drip down her fingers and she quickly tries to eat it but it was so cold to her teeth with every bite.

Elsa walks towards the zoo.  I heard they just opened up an ice skating rink for the holiday season.

She pays for her ticket and starts walking towards the ice skating rink.  

She is lined up behind about 15 people.  The line gets longer behind her as she sees more people running up to get their skates.

It's her turn to get her skates. The workers asked "What size shoes do you wear?"

"Size 9 please." 

The lady handed me my skates.  I gave her my shoes.  I started walking towards the rink and almost fell as some kids were running and always pushed me over.  

"I was lucky there."

Thinking to myself how embarrassed I would have looked if I had fallen in front of everybody. I got into the rink and start skating around.  

You saw people skating in all kinds of different styles.  You saw little kids chasing each other around the rink.  You saw some people skating backwards.  You saw groups of people holding hands and trying not to fall. 

You laughed as the group holding hands all fell at the same time.  

"This is why you never hold hands on the rink because everybody will get dragged down."

She continues skating around feeling how smooth the ice was underneath her skates.

She looks at all the colorful decorations put up throughout the zoo as she skates around the rink.  

Driven on by caffeine, he was ready for route two of his journey round the zoo, he had been here so much he felt he should get an annual pass for cheapness.  Today though in the anonymity of the crowd, he knew he had some business to do as he hoped simply to blend in with the crowd.  Taking the map out of his pocket, he ran his finger along the route as he looked around the as to which way to achieve his goal fastest.

Wandering in to the Aviary, he looked round the various parrots, and birds as he looked round the cages watching them flutter and flap frustrated at their limited space.  Continuing on at a snail pace he watched the birds of prey as they were fed mice.  The mice entering terrified as they tried to scuttle for cover as the kestrels and eagles tore them apart with their talons.  Moving on further he looked at the bats as they just hung there in their cave like surroundings as quickly bored, he moved on to the reptile house to meet his contact.

Looking round the geckos's, iguanas and snakes he watches as they sat patient as if waiting for something as he slowly moved on checking out the the reptiles and amphibians all boxed under one roof.  Watching the chameleons blend to the back ground he hoped to do the same as he bumped into his contact quickly to switch briefcases and move on as they passed through the cavern in opposite directions.

Stopping to grab an ice cream, he looks around to check if anyone is following as he checks the time, before continuing on his way happily licking at the ice cream.  Watching the tapirs, giraffes and ant eaters, he grins at the diversity as he wonders maybe one day if he could have a zoo of his own if he made it big down the line.

Watching the rhino's he thinks to himself how he is happy not to have to clean up after them, but guesses could do wonders for his roses as he continues along before looking at his watch again and heading for the nearest exit.

Morte_Rossa had one goal in mind that day when she got to the Detroit Zoo and Aquarium. 

Briefcase in tact, held close to her side, she walked up to the entrance and got herself one adult ticket, which she paid for quickly, then walked inside to find the contact she was told to look for. She was told his name was Carlos_Hathcok, and that he would be wearing a hat and looking at a map, and that they would bump into each other in the Cavern area.

So she headed off into the Cavern area, where she saw a man with a hat on walking towards her with a brisk step, but he wasn't looking at a map. He had a briefcase though.. Interesting..

No sooner had she seen the briefcase, the man, walking towards her, gave her a quick look, and then she realized that he was the contact.

They quickly switched briefcases and continued walking the way they intended, in opposite directions. She didn't look anyone in the eye for fear of being ratted on, and she quickly headed back towards the exit of the zoo. 

Maybe next time she was here, she would actually take the time to enjoy the animals, but this time she was too preoccupied with thoughts running through her mind, of Feds tackling her and getting handcuffed and put in prison..

So she left the zoo, safely, and walked to her destination to meet her boss and hand over the briefcase, with God knows what inside.

She told her boss you're welcome as he handed over the reward, then she headed out of the office, unharmed and $100,000 richer.

The final trip unless an exchange was needed was upon him,  Looking at the map, he knew he would have to look around for donors or new exzibits to keep him coming as he headed towards the creepy crawly lair in the hope he could find something to scare an associate in the morning with for not paying tribute.

He smiled as he looked at the size of some of the spiders as he made sure he stood clear of the glass. Tapping it occassionally he watched the spiders scuttle away as if they thought he would enter, as an itch came over him.  Damn bugs he thought to himself as he continued past the crickets, locusts and other insects and onto the water area of the park.

Watching the seals perform for a trainer he grinned as he watched them get fed, and noticing the bottomless appetite of the walrus next door as he looked into the enclosure thinking how two such similar creatures could be so different at stages.  Passing the penguins, he watched them slip and slide round as they failed to stay on their feet before heading for a break.

Sitting down sipping a coffee, he watched around he prepared himself the next walk to lemurs, meerkats etc as he knew how the kids loved them, but he knew it was all about the big cats and hippos.  Throwing the cup in the trash he sighed as he made his way towards the small animals, watching them take their territory and their watchful eye over exiled and rival groups.  Smiling to himself, he thought everyday at work as he continued on his way.

Checking out the zebras, deers and springboks, he watched their grace and power as he watch the boks lock horns and push at each other, he smiled thinking how one being let into a sleeping members bedroom may be an amusing prank, but then worried is all fun, till the joke becomes a barbeque course.

Walking towards the exit, he looked back, before leaving, screwing up the map and placing it in the bin.

It had been awhile since Whatsername had made her way over to Detroit. She was excited to go to the zoo and aquarium and see the animals once again. As she paid for her ticket and walked down the path, she decided she'd start with the aquarium today. She could use to watch the dolphins and whales swim for awhile. Maybe even catch a show.

As she got closer to the concession stand on the edge of the roadway, Whatsername became very thirsty. She ordered herself a pop an continued towards the dolphins while sipping away. When she arrived at the pool, she saw it was feeding time. The trainers were out with their buckets of fish and the dolphins were splashing around waiting to have one tossed their way. The dolphin's always put a smile on Whatsername's face. Just then, one of them took a ball, placed it into the middle of the pool and swam down real deep. When the dolphin surfaced again it hit the ball into the air with its nose, as the mammal came splashing back down towards the pool the ball followed. The dolphin swung its tail and hit the ball right towards the trainers only moments before re-entering the water. Whatsername smiled at the small show and decided she'd walk down towards the whales.

The killer whales were swimming a lot at this time so Whatsername went down stairs were she could see them under water. It seemed they liked the audience because they kept coming up to the glass and swimming by. The size of them was astounding and Whatsername loved to watch their easy glides through the water.

While in Detroit for leisure purposes, she hears something about a zoo and aquarium.  This was perfect, and Odwulf would love it.  They take a cab across town, and end up at the front gate.  She enters the main building, Odwulf at her side.  Some would think it odd that she often traveled with him, but Odwulf was her companion, she didn't like to leave him.

At the desk, she looks up at the sign.  She contemplated exactly what category Odwulf would fall under.  She pays her $3, and figures that since he is an animal, he should get in free.  She grabs a map, and motions for him to follow.  Looking at the various areas, she tries to decide what to visit first.  She always has loved the tigers, and considered that as their first stop.

Looking down at Odwulf, a beautiful wolf/dog mix, she smiles.

Well, what shall we see first?  I'm rather fond of the Asian exhibit. 

Barks once, a customary acceptance, and cranes his head up to smell the map in hand. The overpowering odor of strong perfume assaults his nose and he quickly rubs his muzzle with his paw. Knowing it wasn't the scent of Hayley but of another person, he ignores the smell. Following as Hayley starts towards the first exhibit of her choice, he quickly scans the dense crowd for anything unusual. Pridefully noticing that the few dogs scattered about are securely leashed, unlike him, he turns his attention to the people. Wisely, most stayed an acceptable distance away from the pair.

Catching another scent, he puts his nose to the ground and sniffs, slowly. Catching a hint of bacon, he stops quickly and takes his time tracing the delicious smell. Unfortunately, there was no indication of a trail and knowing the habit of humans to pick things up they've dropped, it was probably a dead chase. Not bothered by it, he quickly catches up with Hayley and bumps her hand with his nose. Tail wagging, he barks again and looks up at her.

Hearing Odwulf, she looks down at him, and scratches his head.  She absolutely adored him, and couldn't think of anyone better to accompany her.  He was a friend, a guard, and someone to listen to her random nonsense.  As they enter the African exhibit, she heads immediately to the tiger cage.  She spends some time just gazing at their beauty, getting lost in her thoughts. 

Noticing Odwulf was wandering to the next cage, she followed behind.  They spend time at each cage, the lions fierce and strong, the gorillas, full of amusement.  Following the trail, the head to the American exhibit.  Stopping along the way at a food stand, she grabs an ice cream cone.  Walking along, she enjoys the sugary treat, occasionally offering some to Odwulf. 

Padding along, Odwulf continues to take in the smells and the concoction of squawking overhead. He was not particularly impressed by the big cats, who seemed even lazier than house cats he would chase back home. While bigger and meaner, he was probably smarter than those overgrown felines. Probably. The smelly, hairy, humanlike creatures were simply rude, in his eyes. 

Chewing on the last piece of ice cream cone, he comes across the first American exhibit. Seeing eyes similar to his own looking back at him, he jumps up and places his front paws on the fence separating the zoo crowd from the other animals. Craning his neck further out he takes in the scents of the enclosure. A few smaller wolves come trotting closer to the fence separating them and give him a curious look. 

Tail wagging playfully, he lets out a long howl of greeting. Not considering the surprise it may cause to some of the more inattentive visitors who did not see him walking by earlier.

She laughs as Odwulf's howls, and watches as people scatter in fear.  They probably thought he escaped the cage.  She looks at the wolves in the cage, then back at him.  Gives him a gentle pat on the head. 

You are so much better than they are.  Not to mention, probably more well behaved. 
 

The quickly wander through the exhibit, nothing much interesting, other than maybe the bears.  But, she did want to see it all, so they continued on.  Next was the Asian exhibit, a little more interesting.  She stops at the pandas, watching them interact.  Odwulf follows along, but stops here and there to check something out.  She takes her time, knowing that the only thing left was the aquarium.  Maybe they could catch a show. 

Only half watching the pandas as they roll around across the clumps of grass in the enclosure, he purposefully bumps into Hayley's leg. Suddenly scampering out from her grasps, he quickly turns around in front of her. Leaning down on his front legs, he slowly backpedals away from Hayley and towards the aquarium. Letting out a series of short barks, he jumps forward and just as quickly retreats. Tail flapping fast, he keeps his distance and guides her further down the park path till the ticket booth for the upcoming water show appears.

Darting back to Hayley, he takes time long enough to lick her hand. Then darts over to the ticket booth. 

Jumping up to height with the ticket salesman, his impressive height shown to nearby guests, he stares down the man. Inching his head forward till his nose is pressed against the glass, he continues to not blink. The only thing moving is his tail, gently waving in the hair, and his ears. Which are on the lookout for familiar footsteps expected behind him.

She gets the hint, and follows Odwulf towards the aquarium.  She sees him up ahead, and wonders what he is doing.  He is apparently very excited to see the show.  Or has some other mischievous plans, shes not sure.  Its not nice to scare the one who is going to let us into the show.  The man in the booth looks scared, and unsure what to do.  Probably glad he is sitting behind the glass.

Walking up beside Odwulf, she tugs playfully at his ear. 

What in the world are you doing?  Actually, I want to know how you planned on paying for the tickets.  Now could you please stop scaring this man?  I'm sure he would appreciate it.

The man nods quickly, shoving two tickets towards the window.  She pays, and motions Odwulf toward the entrance.  Once inside, signs point to the left for the aquarium.  They will have to visit after the show.  Down a short hallway is a large pool, obviously where the show would be held.  She looks around for a seat, choosing one not so close to the front.
