Looking with some longing at the front row seats, he huffs a sigh. Resigned to following Hayley's lead, he patiently waits till she decides on a row. Noting the lack of people present, the options were quite varied. Seeing her pick a row, he jumps ahead and barely squeezes by the few legs in the way. Stopping to sniff at a toddler, much to the concern of the mother, he decides on the seat right next to the pair and jumps up. Circling the chair three times, he sits down with a thump and looks over to Hayley. 

Waiting for her to arrive, he turns his gaze towards the other people currently at their seats. Noticing a little dog in the front far left section, he grumbles internally for a moment. Tearing his eyes away from that, he watches as several zoo workers converge around the pool for some task. Finally, Hayley takes her seat after a moment to fake apologize to the mother on her way over. Odwulf knows he did nothing wrong though, so he puts it out of his thoughts. The boy simply smelled funny. 

Looking across to her, he leans over and gives her cheek a lick. Tail wiggling slightly in happiness. 

She notices people staring, and the lady next to them pulling her toddler a little closer, and just rolls her eyes.  She smiles and puts an arm around Odwulf. 

I saw you looking at the front row.  I just will not leave here with my clothes soaking wet.  But, if you are willing to have a bath later, as I will not tolerate the smell of wet dog, you are free to wander the front row. 

She sits back and gets comfortable, as the show begins.  A couple of dolphins were brought to the pool, the trainers working with them to show off their tricks.  She scratches Odwulf with affection, before returning her arm to her side.  She watches the show with interest, something simple but entertaining. 

Odwulf softly wuffs at the claim of wet dog smelling bad, as he does not consider if an offensive odor. Still, unwilling to leave Hayley's side, he remains in place instead. 

Turning his sharp eyes to the show as it starts, he watches as the fish are thrown out for every trick completed to the dolphins. Not liking fish, having had the chance once to dig into the trash outside a restaurant nearby the zoo, he couldn't understand how it was worth eating after a trick. Of course, he too could do tricks like that but his rewards were much nicer. Juicy pieces of steak...

Shaking his head, a very human gesture he picked up on a long while back, he watches as several people in the front get soaked from one particularly impressive display. Leaning forward and sniffing, he catches the unmistakable whiff of chlorine and sneezes. Loudly. Regretting his earlier interest in going to the front, he lets out a quick bark and half climbs into Hayley's lap. Half stretching out, he lazily watches more of the show with mild interest.

Feels the weight of Odwulf drop onto her as he lays down, and waits for him to get comfortable.  She couldn't complain, his show of loyalty made him deserving of such comfort.  Her hand caresses his soft fur as she watches the remainder of the show.  When it is all over, she looks down and places a kiss on his nose.

And maybe we can stop by the butcher on the way home, grab you a couple of nice steaks. 

Licks his chops at hearing the word "butcher", knowing what sort of treat he could expect. Seeing the fishes, turtles, and other sea life was what he really wanted. As well as licking the glass, which always tasted different. However, he was getting quite hungry and smelling that bacon earlier was not helpful. Making his decision quickly, he climbs out of her lap and points towards the nearby exit. His tail madly thrashing about, accidentally buffeting the toddler to the other side of him. 

Aroooooooooo.

Jumping down to the floor of the stadium, he impatiently waits for Hayley.

She just shakes her head, as he dives to the floor.  Poor little kid, didn't know what was coming.  He was quite rambunctious, but she could never be mad at him.  She apologizes once again to the mother, who was giving her an unpleasant look.  Smiling sweetly, she made her way to exit, Odwulf by her side.

We can come back anytime and visit the aquarium.  Maybe next week we will visit again.

They head for the exit, a great day it was.  She motions for a taxi, waiting patiently, as Odwulf sniffs around. 

Ajani had been shaking down local shops for over due protection money, pushing loads of smuggled drugs in his territory and working non stop at rebuilding the fallen pieces from the war. He needed a time away, but something different. He usually cooled down at local taverns for a drink, or food. But this time he wanted something fresh, something ordinary and new.

He had heard The powerful God Mother of South Philadelphia had opened a exquisite local zoo. This is what he needed, a time away from "business" and this definitely was "different". He walked to the gate and paid the fair, then strolled down the parks side walk. He stopped near the lions, gorillas and deer first. A beautiful site it was, well cared animals and their beauty shining in the sunlight. Afterwards he went to check out the sharks and dolphins. This was quite a treat as he had not seen these before, they were very active jumping and splashing. He took a seat on the nearest bench to watch them in the sun.

Ajani adjusted himself in the bench and lit a cigar. The zoo was a fine choice, one that could take a edge off and just relax. He got up and stretched, the sun was still reflecting off the crystal clear water for the dolphins. The waves they created rolled along and looked like a sea of diamonds. He had watched these majestic creatures long enough though and continued down the brick path west. On the way down he seen a familiar face inquiring about pandas. It was Gideon ,  a close friend and a interesting man. Ajani tapped him on the shoulder for a quick surprise.

Forget the pandas come check out these tigers old friend. 

Ajani chuckled and pointed towards the area filled with enormous beautiful trees, shrubs and ponds. 

as Gideon whatched the pandas sitting around and eating he was ssurprised when someone tapped his shoulder the hand felt more like a claw than a hand so he turned around not knowing what to expect when he was suprised with his very good friend Ajani to be standing there with a wide grin on hie face " forget about the pandas lets go see the tigers " said Ajani and with a chuckle from the both of them they made their way to the tiger exhibit

He hasn't been back to the aquarium since that fateful day with the shark, but Ted is destined to at least try one more time, he takes a deep breath and buys his ticket to the Zoo and brazenly walks in without looking or talking to anyone. Keeping his head down low he quickly walks to the aquarium and straight to the shark area, he is going to get over this problem once and for all. Looking up, he gets a fright, a giant ape stands just inches away from him-- peering through the glass with its huge brown eyes. 

"Wh... wha... this isn't the aquarium." thinking to himself that maybe he should keep his eyes up next time, he steps away from the Ape and slowly walks out of the building. Animals are scary, oh well. He'll try the sharks next time. At least he can knock 'giant monkey beast' off of his list of things to look at.

Fixing his jacket he leaves the Zoo entirely, he wouldn't look at two scary creatures in one day. He couldn't do it, his head down he walks towards the exit and through the gates, down a few steps and up a few more; he finally reaches what he assumes is the parking lot, but why does the ground look exactly like the Zoos? and why is it so dark out here?! Looking up he realizes something terrible.

He accidentally made his way to the Aquarium. Running out before he can notice anything, he zooms to his car and out of the place entirely; he'll never be trying this again. Fuck Zoos. He had seen people die in countless fashions, but he would never deal with these beasts again. No way. 

Archy was wandering the streets of Detroit on top of his dear friend Astro, he always enjoyed the fresh breathe in Corktown so early in the morning, as they kept on their voyage through the city, they passed by the famous Zoo. Archy has had some good times here in the past, he looks at Astro.

Let's get in Astro, I'm sure you'd love it in there. I'll go buy us a couple of tickets, wait for me here.

Archy hops off Astro and walks to the ticket's stall and buys two.

Here... Here's five, one for me and the other for my friend Astro there.

The clerk, leans out of his window and looks around searching for that friend Archy mentioned, but only thing he could eye was the donkey. He turns back to Archy.

What friend are you talking about? There's no one standing there.

Archy points towards Astro.

What?! Are you blind? Can't you see my best friend Astro standing right over there?

The clerk looks again and replies in exclamation

THE DONKEY?!

Archy face turned red and the guy could tell what he said pissed him off. Archy brings the guy from his collar.

Listen here pal... You see Astro here? He's my best friend, not a fucking donkey. Capisci? Now give me those two fucking tickets before I smash your head into the glass window here.

The guy hands Archy the two tickets with shaking hands. Archy grabs them and turns to walk towards Astro.

Let's go Astro, I got us the tickets.

Archy pulls Astro with the leash as they walk through the gates of the Zoo, but before they enter, Archy turns to the clerk.

And he's a camel you fucking idiot, not a donkey.

Archy violently pushes the gate violently as he walks in with Astro, he was irritated by the stupid ticket boy. Astro looked at Archy and noticed his annoyance, with a smile on his face he nuzzled against his leg. Archy pet his friend on the head and smiles back.

"It's okay Astro, let's just not let something like that disturb us, we're here to have fun after all"

Archy grabbed a map from the booth, it's been a while since he was last here and his friend Whatsername was no longer here to show him around. He decided the map would be helpful, he checks it carefully and notices pictures of camels, he smiles and winks at Astro.

"I think I know a place you'd love to visit Astro, let's go"

Archy said then, led Astro to through the zoo to the camel's cage. He then reached into Astro's pockets and grabbed a joint, a glass and a bottle of Gin, he opened the bottle and poured himself some then gave it to Astro, who kept gulping on it till the last drop. Archy chuckled at the idea of his alcoholic friend, then lit the joint and took a deep drag. It hasn't been too long for them to arrive at the camel's spot. Archy could notice the excitement that grew in Astro's eyes, Archy pets him and grabs a small flask from Astro's pockets.

"I think I'll leave you here to have fun and go watch the dolphins, I'll meet you back here in an hour."

Archy took another deep drag of his joint then drunk some of the flask as he chanted "Alone in the rain" on his way through the zoo, he checks his new pocket watch and it seems a bit early for the dolphin's show. He decided to check the lions' den and spend sometime watching the monkeys too. He took another deep drag off his joint and a sip of his drink, as he arrived at the lions' den. He was so fascinated by those creatures, their strength he felt in their rawrs. Archy smiled and waved to the guy feeding them, he paid the guy a 5 dollars bill and asked for a piece of meat to feed them. Archy grabbed the meat and kept messing with the lion for a bit before throwing the piece of meat his way, Archy was astonished by the way that lion bounced to catch the meat between his rusty teeth. Archy smiled at the scene and watched as the lion furiously ate the piece of meat.

Archy was done with the lion and thought to move on, as he walked through the zoo, watching the animals everywhere, he felt he needed a joint, looking around, he couldn't see many people passing by, it was never crowded here through the week after all. He bounced off a fence into a small patch of green surrounding a fountain, he chooses a hidden spot below one of the zoo's biggest trees, after making sure no one was paying him much attention, he reached for his coat's pocket and brought the gear. He rolled a joint as he watched the swans swimming across the lake to the fountain, it was such a pleasant view, Archy now finished rolling his joint and lit it as he decided to get back onto his walk to the dolphin's show. He took a deep drag off his joint as he passed by the monkeys cage, he got close to one of them and took a very deep drag off his joint then blew the smoke slowly at the monkey. Archy started laughing hardheartedly as the poor little animal kept doing funny moves and walking in a dizzy way. Archy threw a banana at the monkey he grabbed from the man guarding the cage then moved on. Archy enjoyed his joint as he moved through the paths of the zoo, finally he had arrived at the dolphins show. He bought a ticket for a seat in the middle, he didn't want to get wet afterall. He slowly made his way to his seat and waited for the show to begin as he kept on smoking his joint. By the time his joint was finished, dolphins and their trainers started showing up. Archy clapped as all the audience did.

"Last time was fun, I hope they got more tricks this time too"

Archy said to himself eager for something exciting and breath-taking as usual. He wasn't disappointed much, there was a huge waterball with one of the trainers, who threw it at the dolphin, that started playing with it with his rostrum, shooting it up then hitting it with its tail, aiming it accurately towards the trainer's way. Archy was delighted by the skills those creatures showed, he was so excited and taken by the show. To his surprise a basket was brought in by some trainers, not a regular basket, but one of those you get to see in a basketball field. Archy couldn't believe his eyes, the ball was thrown once again towards the dolphin, who hit it with his rostrum to score a 3 points hit. Archy clapped for the amazing performance of the dolphin, only to get astonished more as the dolphin bounced off the water, into the basket then back into the water. Archy loved the performance he kept clapping even after the staff disappeared and everyone around him started giving him some weird looks. Archy regained composure and straightened his clothes as he swiftly made his way towards the staff's rooms. He met their superior and congratulated him on such an Amazing performance. Archy was delighted by what he saw today and promised to come back for more, he tipped the guy fifty dollars and thanked him again for making his day.

Ajani had stopped into Detroit for some business for the first time in a while. He remembered he had fond memories of the Detroit zoo. He asked Elspeth to drive him to the beautiful place. He climbed into his black 1929 Buick. Elspeth got into the drivers seat and started the engine. Ajani was always a huge fan of the old Buick's. The pur of the six cylinder engine was music to his ears. 

The drive was a short one from Downtown to Black bottom Detroit. They arrived and the parking lot was still fairly full, even after the passing of the powerful God-Mother that ran the zoo. The sky was blanketed by a flock of grey clouds. This created a over cast, which looked like it was going to develop into a sheets of cold rain. 

Ajani exited the Buick and payed the entrance fee at the front gates. He walked inside and started down the path on the right. The wind was cool and brisk, it sent chills down his spine and raised hairs on his back. He approached the first cage that was full of one of his favorite animals in the zoo. Bengal tigers and many of them. They were lying down in the over grown grass and resting. The sight was quite peaceful, so he sat and enjoyed the extravagant view on the park-side bench.

Sam lines up at the ticket booth and gives the man three dollars.  The man handed me a ticket. "Welcome to the Detroit Zoo and Aquarium.  Have a good day."  I took the ticket and walked the entrance of the ​Detroit Zoo and Aquarium.  I saw the information booth ahead towards the left side, and grabbed the zoo map.  The Asian exhibit has rhinos.  "Never seen one before.  It'll be interesting seeing one.  Pandas! I wonder if they are eating right now."  "Free Peanuts! Come and get it while it lasts!"  Walks over towards the vendor that was giving away peanuts.  I grabbed a bag of peanuts and walked towards the Asian area.  "I'm real close.  I can smell the elephants already!"  I turn towards the right and saw elephants.  I grabbed a few peanuts from my bag and threw it towards the elephant.  "Excuse me, sir, you can't be throwing peanuts to the elephants. Alright, sorry.  I won't be doing that."  I continued eating my peanuts and walked over towards the panda area, and took a seat on the bench and just relaxed and took in the smell of fresh air.  Rubbing the back of my neck. "My neck is feeling a little stiff today. I think I'm gonna hit the massage place later and get rubbed down."

IllFated was in Detroit and had some spare time before his layover flight departed so he began to wander around the city. During his travels he remembered the great Whatsername had opened up a zoo in the city and it would be a great place to kill time before his return flight to Philadelphia would be ready. He made his way down to the Detroit Zoo and Aquarium, stopping at the gate he paid his fee and entered staying to his left and visited the Aquarium. He walked around saw the crustaceans and immediately thought he would have crabs for dinner. He kept going trying to get a look at the sharks and the killer whales, they are predators and IllFated had a lot of respect for them thinking they were the hitmen of the ocean and kinda reminded him of some fellow mobsters he did business with. As he continued his rounds in the Aquarium he ran into a few fiends that were looking for some cocaine. IllFated grabbed them taking them to the restroom to make an exchange out of the public eye. He kept moving along the establishment now looking for more customers cause he always did good trafficking in Detroit.

Today was an exciting day for a Sunday.  Rose had arrived yesterday in Detroit on business, and late last night she had received word to meet her boss and fiancee at the local Aquarium and Zoo around noon.  She had been wanting to visit the zoo for some time now, but never seemed to have enough spare time until now.  Checking the time once again, Rose knew she was early, but she was anxious to take a tour of the local hot spot.  

She debated on whether to buy the tickets now and wait, or leave the tickets at the gate, and head inside to catch a sneak peek.  Rose had fell in love with Astro the moment she saw him.  He was usually around the headquarters, but he accompanied Don Archy everywhere.  She remembers telling Shawn-Raje how she wanted a camel, too, and his quirky grin as he tells her that he will see what he can do.  

A week passed by, and Shawn had gave Rose some great news.  A brand new baby girl camel was reported to be a part of the Detroit Aquarium and Zoo now, and he made inquiries into purchasing her.  Rose had made calls in the past few weeks keeping tabs on the newborn camel, and today was the day she would see her in person.  Shawn had spoken with Don Archy about the new addition to be joining their family, and their boss was most pleased.

Rose had returned to the hotel this morning to deliver the coffee and breakfast she had bought, and then had to take care of a few errands before the zoo adventure.  Her lavendar dress looked as if she was floating as Rose paced back and forth at the front gate.  The material shimmered in the sunlight, but was cool to the touch in this chilly weather.  She never felt guilty for owning the expensive silk dresses because she worked hard for her money, and she deserved the best.  

Her pacing became nonstop, and she could not wait a moment longer.  She went to the ticket booth line, and within a couple minutes she was purchasing the tickets.  The young lady behind the booth smiled as she greeted Rose.

"Good afternoon.  How many tickets ma'am?"

"Hello.  I need four tickets please.  Would it be possible to leave three of them here at the gate with names?  I am rather excited to get started on the tour."

Blushing slightly at the words flowing from her mouth, Rose suddenly felt like a child visiting the zoo for the first time.  Smiling, she waited for the attendant to reply.

"Yes ma'am you can leave the tickets here if you like."

After Rose paid for the tickets, the attendant wrote the names down on a separate list.  Her smile never left as the young lady mentioned how unusual the name Astro was.  Rose thought this girl must be new here because everyone knew about Astro visiting the Zoo, and his escapades with the female camels.  Handing Rose her ticket stub, the young lady smiled.

"Please enjoy your visit ma'am."

Rose had just reached the entrance when she heard a familiar sound.  She turned her head in time to see Astro running towards her with Don Archy trailing behind.  Her laughter floated across the area because the sight of Archy's raised eyebrows at His pet running off to greet her with enthusiasm, was priceless to Rose.

"Well Boss you caught me!  I was about to sneak on inside.  I am anxious to finally see Sasha."

Grinning mischievously, she tilted her head towards the ticket booth.

"I did leave the tickets for you, Shawn and Astro at the ticket booth.  I'm not sure where he is, but he should be here soon.  We can wait here, or head on in if you like."

Her eyes pleading with excitement as Rose gave Astro a hug.

Appelsap wakes up and looks around. After that nice night with his friends he doesn't seem to see them this morning. 

trying to walk off his headache he walks over to a pool of water and takes a big sip.

After falling a sleep for the second time, Appelsap wake's up because he feels something touching his head. 

hey friends is it time to wake up already ? Appelsap asks

.... 

when there came no response Appelsap opend his eyes and finds himself looking in the face of big panda bear. 

thanks for wakeing me up panda , Appelsap says while he is walking out of the inclosere. 

that must have been a nice night, it is time to pay my friends a visite

Archy had an agreement with Rose-Raje to meet up with her at the zoo, he went to pick Astro off one of the local bars downtown, then the two drove to the zoo, Archy found a good spot to park his convertible ride, then the two walked out and to the gates of the Zoo. Archy walked to the ticket booth and asked for their tickets.

"I believe someone has left us two tickets for me and my friend here. Archy and Astro."

The lady checked in the book and nodded at Archy then gave him the two tickets.

"Please enjoy your visit"

The lady repeated again, then the two walked through the gate, Archy looked at Astro with a smile, he could tell Astro was happy to be here once again, he was too thrilled that Archy thought he had a missus here that he wanted to see and was so happy about it. However, Archy's thoughts were interrupted as he caught a glimpse of what looked like his dear friend Rose-Raje, Archy called for her to gain her attention and make her stop, but he got beaten by Astro running her way, the two cuddled and shared a hug.

"Hello there Rose! See? Astro is as thrilled as you for this big event"

Archy chuckled hard as he saw the looks of excitement in their eyes, he then turned to Rose.

"I think we'd better get started as it won't be an easy task, don't you think?"
