That is a good question. I joined many years ago, although some years after this post itself in 2015, because my ex boyfriend played at the time. I thought it would be fun to go and troll him a bit.. which I think I succeeded with! And then I never really left again. Guess he got me hooked :(

I started officially back in 2017, but I genuinely have zero recollection of much from that time compared to fully getting into the swing of things around 2020. I could not tell you why I joined way back then, but I think I stuck around due to the community aspect. Something clicked eventually and it became decently fun.

I found this place back in 2008 and kept coming back after some time away I found a few good friends from over the world 

I came for the bitches.

Honestly, I don't even recall, I think it popped out. Pretty sure that I was playing some other browser games (Travian, Ogame) and some other Mafia related and this also came up eventually on one of the lists.

I don't really remember how I stumbled onto this game TBH but I started back in 2019 and I would play on and off.  I liked the community and the crew aspect of the game and the welcome I got when I was such a noob and even when life took over a few times, I would eventually come on back to see what was going on and what fun I could get up to.

I am pretty sure I found this game because reaching a certain level got me in game cash or coins for another game. But I don't even remember what that game was lol

I was bored and playing loads of random games online, came across the FHM Top 100 games (which had other classics like the helicopter game where you hold the space bar and it goes up/ let go and it drops, some kinda rockband manager game I forget the name of and importantly Mafia.org)….and a few years later that game went to pot, but MR launched!

I started playing back in 2011 because some of my friends were obsessed and I just thought I’d see what it was about and been hooked ever since. 

I was looking for nice little game that I did not have to invest loads of money or time in to enjoy myself and was watching a bunch of mob movies and just stumbled upon this game and over the course of 6 months got involved with some good people and started to enjoy it on a regular basis.

I started because i wanted a game i could play online and meet new people, that was a worthwhile investment of time so here i am now and still meeting new people each day.
