Personally, I believe Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, or of course the Beatles would be one of the greatest of all time. Although, for today's music I'd go with Nickelback.

I don't understand how you can say metallica's music is of an 'unpopular genre'.

Metallica, Guns 'n Roses, Papa Roach, Tool, and I love Linkin Park aswell.

It's hard to choose one best band. However, if I had to pick one, my current vote would probably go to Tenacious D. 

Might be because I'm listening to them right now though.

OMG...I totally forgot about another one of my favourite bands. That would be The Vitamin String Quartet.

old Linkin Park was great they're ok now but anywhere near as good and System Of A Down i would say is the best i like that lonely day song by SOAD
