I imagine there are many different breeds of mobster looking to make a name in LA. Respectful, hard working and committed. I've lost a few friends to the streets of LA in recent days, as they went there seeking the 'make your bones' experience. 

I doubt they went there looking to label their city "Doo Doo Land". Personally, I would remind DooDooBrown that the rules of our world still apply to LA, which includes respect, not just what you shoot at. 

My ties to my city are unbreakable, however if someone took control one day and commanded us to label our city "Dripping Anus Town", it would be a very short conversation. 

My opinion stands. Anyone working within LA, born into LA or with strong ties to LA's past will most likely not take kindly to this proposal.

It is my understanding that only those that are fresh off the boat are permitted to set up in LA. Mr. Brown, surely you realize who you are speaking to? Who you are telling that they must enhance the Doo Doo Land brand? Do you know why they got on that boat is the first place? Most got on that boat to avoid prosecution because the Fascists are in in power in their motherland. They are making the destruction of the mafia in Sicily a high priority. You are not speaking to those born into families that think they know what they are doing. You are mostly speaking to experienced mafia men and women that may have to start from the bottom here, but carry vast experience and knowledge of the ways of our world.

Falcon I agree, what Mr Brown is doing is fine. That does not mean I'm going to respect him for it. This experiment was put in to give a city a chance to flourish where it otherwise might not. Putting out a proclamation like this makes a mockery of the whole thing.  I have to agree with Sammy that I would have a hard time accepting this if it were my home. Luckily it's not and I can deal with a city that has sense and reason instead of one that has a sham like this. 

If we're lucky he'll be gone before too long and we can get someone in LA who truly wants to build and make something wonderful.

Well Mr. Falcon i can only assume you are making fun of us italians by using the word mafioso. I have never heard one of the Mades calling themselfs that nor anyone else.

There apparently seems to be a lot of nobility seen in this mans actions who is clearly out to ridicule LA, if not all of us by association. All I will say, is that I hope those in support are humouring out of idle boredom, as opposed to being made a fool of by offering such words of encouragement and wisdom to a farce. 

I am not idly bored and I don't feel like a fool.  I applaud Mr. Brown's actions because he is showing strength, courage and boldness in his quest to seize power.  It's easy to demonstrate those characteristics after you have already surrounded yourself with an army, a fortified HQ, and a team of bodyguards.  It shows courage to assert yourself like that while still vulnerable.  It's the kind of courage and bravado that creates legendary mafiosi - something sorely lacking these days.

Let his unfortunate death serve as an example to the other residents that blatant defiance will not be tolerated. Sadly, this could have easily been avoided.

I would like to acknowledge the residents that have already embraced the Doo Doo Land initiative by displaying the appropriate tags on their suits. This has not gone unnoticed.
