I'm not prepared to stand here and humour the Kevin Owens Show. I'm sure questions will be asked of me, but unless they are from my Don and my acting Godfather, I will not release further details. With the greatest respect to the alliance held, I am in service to New York, I report what goes on in New York to the acting Godfather and Godmother, not Chicago and not to Kevin Owens. |

You can come down off that high horse pal, you've got zero reason to be on it. |

All due respect, KevinOwens, the man you're addressing is of a higher standing than you are, and is from a different city. Which means that he does not have to answer or explain himself to you. That is not being on a "high horse", that's simply a fact. |

I am from New York for a start Padrino. I am on loan to Chicago for a short time. He does not have to answer or explain himsef to me and that had nothing to do with. The 'high horse' I was referring to was about his "Kevin Owens show" comment. |

Don Goto, I fear you are only digging yourself into a deeper hole here. |

I'll take your asinine comment on board, Falcon, if you care to explain how. |

You seemed very happy to discuss your actions until Visas and I pointed out a flaw in them Sammy. Then when you couldn't find a viable explanation, got defensive, used the "I'm only talking to my boss about this" excuse and got snotty with me. That's probably where Falcon thinks you're digging a deeper hole. But y'know... I could be wrong. |

Capo Owens basically took the words from my mouth. You've said too much, broke your own rules of omerta, and then when it was pointed out by an important leader from another city, you said I only answer to my bosses. Not a very wise play Don Gato, I for one expect much more from a leader. |

As I have said before and will say again - I am not required to recount to you every minute and every second of the incident and the time I had to seek a resolution. Yes, I'm defensive, but not due to any concerns I have about the way this has been handled. I'm defensive, nay - impenetrable, because you insist on sniffing around for details as to how this unfolded, just so you can get some vindicating satisfaction that you've not wasted your time here tonight. |

I never waste my time out on the streets, Sir. I enjoy every minute of it. And as I've already said before, you don't have to answer to me. But you seemed very willing to discuss it before I said my piece so I thought you were willing. Apparently that is not the case anymore, so I'm failing to see why you're still talking down your nose to me like you know who I am or what I'm about. You know nothing about me apart from what you see in public, we have never spoken on a personal level so how could you possibly gauge what I am thinking? |

That was as much as I was 'willing to discuss' and the reasons why. I won't be tested by the enjoyment you get from public scrutiny. If you were so committed to the close relationship our two cities have, I would have expected you to take a different approach to this discussion. |

Wasted our time? I find it very disturbing that you let this person go armed with a gun to rattle off a shot at Mr Brown and justify it that you was certain he could not make the shot. What if this guy decided to set with a couple of rogue pro'ers? Then decided to take pot shots at members from other cities? You know full well that no outside interfearence isnt allowed in LA and the way i hear it you wasnt very concerned if this guy was going to take a shot at Mr Brown. Any potential rogue threat is a concern of every city of every family because if this guy had killed a member or associate of Chicago i would not be a happy camper right now. |

I feel obliged to respond out here when you talked so condescendingly to me. I was questioning your actions and you made this personal in public. Yet I'm the ove who is supposed to take a different approach to this discussion. Could you be any more hypocritical? Don't piss on someone's shoes and expect them to grit their teeth, smile about it and send you a polite letter in the mail. |

Again. More scrutiny and speculating. Mr Owens you burnt that bridge when you attempted to tell me how I should handle a situation you knew little about. |

What bridge are you talking about now? Wild tangent? I didn't attempt to tell you how to do things, I told you what you did wrong. Big difference. |

To be fair, Mr Sammy did come to my doorstep about this potential rogue shot, unfortunately by the time I could get a name the rouge had already taken a shot at my soon to be President. The interval in question was only a few short minutes some spent in seeing if I had someone to dispatch to handle this situation and if I needed to contact someone along with getting the details. While Sammy should have taken this to everyone that was a Leader and online as rogues are an issue to everyone in this world, he did try to stop it, I am not sure how long after he knew about it he had contacted me but we were going to put an end to it had said rogue not went ahead and taken the shot as I was getting details and a location and someone to solve the problem for me. Figured I would make you aware at the least that the problem was brought up and not hidden as is being said, it may not have been brought up to the world but he definitely did not sit in darkness on it and let it happen without trying to get the situation resolved. |

Finally, a sensible reply. Thank you Eredin, that was very informing and has put me (and I'm sure more people) more at ease. |

SammyGato, despite your vocal distaste for me, I appreciate whatever preventative measures you did take to keep your member from shooting at me for the 10 million dollar bounty. And folks, to Sammy's credit. he did go to the good Don Eredin to inform him that there was a potential rogue in his outfit. Granted, he apparently did not provide Eredin with a name, which would have probably served as useful information, but like Sammy said he was confident that his member wouldn't be able to kill his intended target anyways so maybe that is why he did not put as much urgency on the matter? I don't know. It is beneath my station in This Thing of Ours to be privy to these details. Regardless, I appreciate your efforts. |

Gatsby strolls down the street. Looking at the dead body of his friend after overhearing all that Sammy had to say and those who publicly spoke out against him, Gatsby found it only fitting that he would speak out as well. Impressive old sport. Do you know why this is so frustrating? Why everyone in the streets is pretty upset? You KNEW that there was a POTENTIAL rogue and you did not put an end to the possible disaster. Stripping him from his gun or taking the next step and shooting the frankiepadilla...because he was just a wiseguy wasn't he? Someone who was not yet made. Someone you were sure was not happy with the family? Thats why you spoke in his funeral correct? And You knew that any violation of the LA rules resulted in immediate discipline and you by no firm action before the shot allow the shot to actually occur. Now here is my frustration, because you seemed ok with it and did not apologize DooDooBrown was later shot and killed.
Was this you saying you knew he would be shot at by one of your members? Was this you saying you knew his death was imminent? Whatever the point of you saying this was, it was a waste of time. Not only that Sammy, it was disrespectful. For a man who speaks about omerta, you should also know the importance of acting like a gentleman, a person with class. You showed none here. So when you speak of Omerta its an act that i dont follow. I am not done here old sport. I get that we all make mistakes, but the fact that you are not owning up for your mistakes is pretty frustrating and deeply concerning. See, i am a right hand for a very exciting family, The Chicago Outfit, and if i knew someone from this family was being threatened by a potential rogue that is two days old and his Crew leader did nothing to stop him...id be pretty upset. But it was not me or my crew..No it was my friend. Little DooDooBrown. See whats irritating is i know how hard his work in LA was. I saw how dedicated he was to making that city good and entertaining and you allowed one to shoot at him. You could not have been sure the bullet would not have hit him, because there is a possibility of a one percent. Ol Sammy, i am not saying you need to be publicizing every single thing that is occurring in your family but i am asking for a bit more thought. Look at it from my point of view. Perhaps then you will see that my anxiety is heightened. I am not asking for you to explain anything, you explained yourself quite enough and that hole you dig is deeper than DooDoos grave. I hope you take this as a lesson learned i really do old sport. I hope next time this happens, you know when one of your members becomes unhappy in your family, you take the proper precautions so not another life is shot at. |

Dubliner struggles to listen to every word from every person who is arguing or debating in the streets. (Most would say debating, while those not involved would most likely say arguing...) After listening to some of the conversations between Eredin, Sammy, and Mr. Brown, he decided perhaps it was time to chime in and let whoever wanted to listen to some no name Made Man listen to him. He didn't feel as if he'd be wasting breath; he has an opinion for everything, after all.
Folks, starting off, I want to pay my respects to Mr. Brown's father, Mr. Brown... Rest in peace... However, I do ultimately agree with Mr. Gato when he said he believed in traditional styles and what not. Though I do also agree that, whoever the killer is, must also be brought to justice. However, can we pause and think about what we would like to see LA become? I mean, I've seen NATIONS "rise" and very shortly after, fall because of the leadership -- or lack thereof -- from their leaders; and we are merely talking about a CITY here...
Heck, the last guy I remember who led by killing all who opposed him ended up hiding in a cave in the middle of the desert until U.S Seals busted in the front door and shot the bugger -- OORAH! With all due respect to Mr. Brown, I am sure he's a cool guy once you get to know him, as most are here. But he just doesn't seem like one I'd like to follow into the thick of battle leading the charge... I think that what LA needs right now is Consistency and strong Leadership.
Going back to where I agreed with Sammy on believing in "Traditional" aspects of the game... Usually Godfather's of a city tend to be "patriotic" of their city... And having someone in a 'leadership' position (or one aspiring to be in said position) who views their city as a "Doo Doo Land" would just prove to be even more detrimental and leave even more scars on misguided and fallen City of Angels. I believe LA needs a Mature Leader who is in it for the long run... Do I have any idea who that person is? Heck no. I am just spitting words and ideas on what I believe will solve the perpetual motions of LA.
So... Basically, the question I am posing is this: Does this death really require THIS much looking into and 'anger' from? Perhaps I am just ignorant and if that's the case, then just ignore me. However, I believe I am coming at this from a completely unbiased angle... You tell me. |
