Morte_Rossa and her whole family had spent two days getting the front of The Paragons' Headquarters cleaned up. The trees were trimmed, the flowers were weeded, the grass was mowed, the glass windows were nice and shiny and the fingerprints and dirt footprints were cleaned off of the front door. No idea how they got there but.. they were gone regardless and the door was back to being yellow and spotless. Banners were hung all over that said "Brooklyn Block Party" and streamers and ribbons were tied all over the place. She had been planning this party for a couple weeks and wanted everything to be perfect, down to the tiniest of things.

She sent out her Bodyguard Dax to deliver the invitations she had created for all of her friends in Brooklyn, like Diff, Voodoo, _Starfire_, VictoriaStone and MarissaVixen, and she had called her friends from other cities and districts as well, like Kimble, ViolettaDiSalvo, Sereno, @JoeyCortizi, FastFingersFreddy, Senza and Brooklynn, to come join in the fun. The invites even said you can bring a couple friends! She knew Sereno would make the flight there from Chicago, and he had said he would bring along Koehler and his guys, so she had a feeling the party was going to be a huge success. Good thing they had the whole block for this event because they were going to need it!

....

A few hours later, her Bodyguard returned saying everyone had received their invites and he was going to retire back into his room. She nodded and he departed, leaving her again with the rest of the party prep. Tables had been placed in the streets, along with chairs with balloons tied to them. Booths were set up directly in front of the Headquarters for the food and the bar. She had hired a caterer and a bartender so no one would be hungry or thirsty throughout the night. There was a stage on the opposite side of the street for the band she had hired to sing throughout the event.  She spared no expense because she wanted everyone to have the best time they could have.

She looked around the area one last time and decided that everything was as ready as it could be. She told her Family members and Associates to go up to their rooms and get dressed and ready for the party, and she did the same. She emerged an hour or so later in a black dress with heels, and she wore her hair up so it wasn't brushing against her face all night. The weather was still pretty nice so she thought it was the perfect outfit for the event.

When she walked downstairs, she looked at her Family and Associates and told them they all looked perfect, as they went outside to await the first guest's arrival.

 Nessa glanced in the mirror one last time and adjusted the small hat so it sat slightly at an angle. She pulled her lipstick out of her purse and applied a coat before pursing her lips and nodding her head. She had heard about the block party and was very excited to get to know some of her neighbors and perhaps make a few new friends. 

After she left her house she set off at a brisk pace towards the address someone had mentioned to her. The smell of the food was the first thing she noticed, and a few minutes later the sight of the tents came into view. She smiled to herself as she wove her way through the street looking around for whom she needed to thank for setting this delightful party up. 

Morte_Rossa was excited to see the first of the arrivals. She had seen Nessa around New York a time or two but never actually had a chance to speak to her, so she took this opportunity. She made her way up to Nessa and extended her hand, saying, "Hey Nessa! Glad you could make it here. I'm Morte_Rossa. Hopefully you have a great time tonight and hopefully many more people show up to make this party a huge success! Would you like a drink or something to eat? I was thinking of getting a drink myself!"

Nessa shook the woman's hand and gave her a big smile, "It is so lovely to meet you, Morte!" Nessa told the woman, "A drink sounds wonderful." She looked around, "Did you put this together yourself?" she asked as they headed towards the bar, "Because if so, I am very impressed." she took in the tents as they walked, "I can't even imagine the amount of work that went into putting this together." she admitted to the woman as they walked together. 

After Senza recieved Morta_Rossa's invite she decided to visit the party. Senza was so  excited she was invited she looked into her closet and decided to wear a fitted red dress encrusted with white pearls combined with red pumps. Ofcourse she needed a purse aswell. So she picked a black leather handpurse which also was encrusted with white pearls. Senza took the first plane to New York. I was a three hour flight, but that didnt mather to Senza. She loved parties and she had the funds to do so. As she walked down the airport of New York she quickly found herself an empty taxi. She stepped in and gave the cabdriver directions to where the party was. After a  bumpy ride she arrived in Brooklyn. As she gets out of the taxi Senza notices how neat the outside looks, the grass is trimmed and the windows of the HQ where squeaky clean. She walks to the door and rings the bell. Unnessecary because the door seemed to open as she stands in front of it.

Senza walks into the HQ. Looking where to go she spotted Morte_Rossa. She walks towards her.

Hi dear, thank you for inviting me to your party. I have to say the outside looks great. Where is it al happening?
 

Morte smiled at Nessa's astonishment and she said, "Thank you very much. I did in fact put this all together, with the help of my family of course! It was definitely a lot of work. My Headquarters had gotten pretty dirty and overgrown so this cleaning was much needed, but a party definitely makes it even more necessary. I don't want everyone to think we're slobs here!"

Morte laughed and noticed that they had reached the bar. She asked Nessa, "What would you like? I'm going to have a Rum and Coke!"

Morte greeted Senza with a hug and a smile and said, "Thanks for the compliments about the exterior. It took a couple days of cleaning, cutting and scrubbing, but it does look pretty great now! The party is of course happening outside! The weather is so nice this evening! Me and Nessa here were just having a drink actually. Would you like to join us?"

Nessa smiled at Morte and said, "I'd love a glass of white wine, please." she told the nice lady. While they waited for the drinks another lady came up and Nessa eyed her up and down, "I'm so sorry," she blurted out, "But I just absolutely love your dress!" she told her. "Its stunning!" she told her before holding out her hand, "I'm Nessa by the way." She introduced herself. 

"Nessa, your wish is the bartender's command! In fact, there's your wine already!" Morte said to Nessa before turning to Senza. "And Senza, I was going to say the same thing! Your dress is truly amazing! Nice color of red, and the pearls really suit you! Would you like a drink as well? I have a Rum and Coke, but that's not all the Bartender has for you to choose from! There's Wine, Vodka, Rum, Whiskey.. Anything you'd like! Gotta' get the party started somehow!"

Nessa accepted the glass from the bartender and smiled, "Thank you" she told him with a gracious tip of her head. She turned her attention back to Morte_Rossa and Senza with a slight smile on her face. As Senza was making her mind up about her drink choice Nessa asked Morte, "Are you expecting very many people to come to this party?" 

Morte watched Nessa drink her wine and decided to herself that her next drink would be a glass of wine. She turned to see Senza looking over the many kinds of alcohol then turned back to Nessa and smiled as she asked if she expected a lot of people to come to the party.

"Well I HOPE a lot of people show up. I only sent out maybe fifteen paper invites and called a few friends from other cities, and I'm hoping people bring friends with them!" She paused and looked around at all of the decorations, the food stand, and the stage where the band was playing, before saying, "This party will not be very fun if no one else shows up, that's for sure! I'm thinking people just want to be fashionably late or something!"

Nessa nodded her head as Morte_Rossa spoke, "Well that is how I heard about it, someone was mentioning it to a friend," she shrugged sheepishly, "I overheard and invited myself." she admitted with a laugh before taking a sip of her wine. She looked around as well and asked, "Did you cater from local businesses from around the city?" 

Morte laughed and said, "Well either way, you heard about the party, and I'm glad you did! It's nice to have someone here to talk to. I hope more people choose to just invite themselves!"

She laughed again then took a drink from her Rum and Coke, then realized that the drink she took emptied her glass. She turned towards the bartender and said, "I'd like a glass of wine as well, please and thank you!" before turning back to Nessa and saying, "I did get a Bartender and Caterer from Brooklyn. They aren't from any local businesses though; just friends that owed me favors and had some food and alcohol handy! So they're doing this for me for a very low cost. By the way, I must warn you that I'm kind of a light-weight. I've had one Rum and Coke and now I'll be working on this glass of wine. Get a few more drinks in me and I might be dancing around all over the place!"

 Nessa threw her head back and laughed, "Well to be honest, if the band would finish warming up I'd probably start getting a little wild myself." she admitted to the woman. She finished her glass with a rather large mouthful and set the glass on the bar, "I'll have the same again." She told the bartender. 

"I must admit, I was hoping to make a few friends here." she said, "I've been a bit of a hermit in our Headquarters, not really venturing out or getting to know anyone outside of the family." She passed the now filled glass to Morte_Rossa and then accepted hers as well from the bartender. "I figured it was time to remove myself from my cocoon of isolation and start meeting people." 

 As Marissa Get ready in her black dress and heels come to the Party and smiles at everyone as she walk in gave the Hostess a Bottle  Red Wine.

 As she see a lot her friends and started to mingle and talk to everyone :)

Morte finished the last drink of her Wine and then accepted the new full glass of wine from Nessa. She laughed and said, "Well after a few drinks maybe we'll just go wild around this place together. You can never have too much fun really! Well... we could have too much. We could end up in jail somehow! Let's hope we avoid that."

She laughed again before saying, "But, glad to have you venture out of your "cocoon of isolation", as you called it, to come to my party. I'm hoping more people show up so that you have people to actually meet! My family members and associates are here somewhere but I have yet to actually see any of them. They're hiding somewhere, afraid to come outside. I told Pops he should make an appearance at some point but he's also a bit shy when it comes to appearing in public. He'd rather hang out at the casino!"

She rolled her eyes jokingly, then continued, "Anyways. Maybe ViolettaDiSalvo will be here soon! She's always a bunch of fun to have around at a party!"

Morte_Rossa smiled when she saw MarissaVixen walking towards her and Nessa. She accepted the bottle of Red Wine from her and handed it over to the Bartender, who would serve it to her and others throughout the night. She said, "Hey Vixy! Nice to see you out and about. I'm glad you made it! I was beginning to think no one else was going to show up! How have you been lately? I haven't seen you for awhile!"

HI Morte I been great and you? " this is nice party got going here "

I see a lot of our friends and family here too:) Hi Nessa how are u today?

Nessa chuckled and finished her glass of wine setting it on the bar again. "Well hopefully, since I would love to meet some people." She nodded her head, "I completely understand the draw of the casino, though." She told Morte_Rossa. "I think I spent a few days of earnings on those new fancy Slot machines they got there the other day." she chuckled, "I was not impressed with my lack of self control." she told her, "But a few drinks and all sense of reason pretty much leaves me."  

Morte invited Nessa and MarissaVixen to a table and said, "Whenever Senza comes back to Earth I'm sure she'll walk over and join us. But until then, I'll talk to you two! Only every once in awhile do I venture to the Casinos. I have terrible, terrible luck most of the time, and I really hate losing money! I cringe when I lose ten thousand! I could only imagine if I were to lose millions! I would probably cry myself to sleep at night! I've never actually played Slots though. Maybe I will have to take a trip to one of the Brooklyn casinos and try my bad luck on the new machines you speak of!"

She laughed then continued, "Thank you for the compliment about the party Vixy. I really hope it turns into a big crowd of people instead of just a few! But until then, sitting here drinking is more than enough fun for me! Glad to hear that you've been well. I've been well also. Just enjoying having a wonderful Family and lots of stuff to keep me busy!"
