It has been a long while since I have been asked to make a speech like this, but I am going to give it my best shot here.  Godmother Duplicity has asked me to come before you all today to give public explanation for last nights events.  I do not plan to make this a very long speech, as I think only the core points are needed here.  Fluff might just get in the way and frankly may offend people.  I will also try to speak as impersonally as possible, without dragging people and their bloodlines through the mud.  Some exceptions may be made.

In respect to the events, there were 2 separate take downs.  The people in question were of New York's Manhattan and Brooklyn districts.  The other was KevinOwens in South Philly.  I will go over New York first.

To begin with, I would like to say that this is not some "master plan" by Godmother Duplicity.  Anyone that knows her knows full well that she is not a woman with vengeance or hatred in her heart.  It is only when threats are seen that she swings her mighty hammer.  New York met this criteria.  Not long ago, we received some intel that some of the people in New York's upper structure were of the same opinion that Duplicity was a "total tyrant" and that "she has to die for others to live."  Maybe by itself that piece of information is not worth destroying everything they love, but coupled with the fact that we also had solid intel that others in New York's structure were paranoid about Chicago coming to punch their tickets, it seemed like the only viable choice.  I had no less that 5 people from varying backgrounds come to me either imploring me to make nice with New York, get in contact with them, or generally talk to them to keep them on our tab.  When that many people come out of the woodwork all at once for the same reason, I get suspicious.  I can only assume that the paranoia would have gripped the structure more firmly, they would have made the horrible choice of attacking our fair Chicago as a last ditch effort at survival.  The final nail was driven in when a Crew Leader from New York accused one of our Leaders here in Chicago of posting a hitlist on someone over the 10k harty... For a hit of a measly 250k. You have to be kidding me.  If you are going to come with those kinds of accusations, you had better also come loaded with proof. Obviously, some major offense was taken, especially when it was found that a New York member was the hitlist poster. 

As for my dear friend KevinOwens...  We have seen already his next of kin out in our streets making claims of "bloodlining" and "this is a feud that's lasted for years."  Both of which I assure you are not the case.  No one here in Chicago set out on a mission to fuck up KevinOwens.   When you are as much as "a self-described a-hole" as he is, you have to see these things coming. Talk about privilege and entitlement. Thinking you can be an asshole to anyone just because of the position you're in doesn't sit well with us here.  Godmother Duplicity has had to deal with more complaints about  KevinOwens than any other Crew Leader in recent times.  It's even more entitled to think "I know who I can/can't say shit too."  Really?  That send clear signals to us that there will be problems in the future.  We never meant any harm to come to Eredin or Rita.

Hopefully, this will end bloodshed for a while, and I do hope that the dead may find peace, but should that not, they will be dealt with accordingly. 

When I woke up and saw what happened to ny I have to say I'm shocked. It's understandable why this event took place, but I want you to know Kimble and Duplicity that it wasn't the whole of NY. Again, I hold nothing against you; you were only protecting your own. I just don't want the impression that the whole if ny was in on the threats you heard or the accusation. Multiple people in upper structure were as shocked as I was when they woke up to this mess.

I hold no ill will, really tis par and parcel for our life. But almost an entire family was wiped because a leader was an "Asshole" ... Seems to be loose fitted logic at best. Especially since we as a public have seen very few killed and entire families offered "Protection" for much worse offenses. By saying that was the reason, you almost back the conspiracy theorist and bloodline believers. 

Again, not really upset and crying dying is part of our life - we were never meant to live forever. Just stating what I see in that defense or reasoning.

Firstly:- KevinOwens was always an 'asshole'. Not just becoming an asshole when he got his district. 

Secondly:- Everyone knew what KO was like. Even if you didn't know him, you knew you'd get an honest opinion/answer. No bullshit, no beating around the bush, straight to the point. What is wrong with this view. Who on earth do You/Duplicity think you are dictating how someone should address others in the streets. 

Unfortunately today is a sad day for this world. Thanks to you being a cunt, we have lost a few people from this life. 

Steps out of the shadows, clears her throat and speaks.

"DaffyDuck - I would quite agree with your stance on the situation at hand, a lot of good people died, only because some others couldn't get along with their Crew Leader. Quite a sad situation...."

I guess you can only kill so many before you have to start looking for and have to invent reasons.

I'd like to thank you for the speech Don Kimble. I think it helps let others with closure after such a tragic event.

Something that I cannot fathom is why so many people were gunned down because of your said reasons. Being that I survived from an attempt last night, looking at the obituaries, it comes to think that I was targeted during the first wave of the take down. What has changed recently that makes everyone a target? I'll admit my bloodline has been away from these shores for some time but nonetheless, tons of innocent lower ranked individuals who have yet taken the oath, were gunned down. 

There was another takedown recently where my bloodline witnessed button men get left alone and allowed to join other families/cities, while again, wise guys and under were slaughtered. Why is this the case now in this situation if KevinOwens was solely the wanted man?

I am sadden to come here and see NY in the state that its in.  But I understand the reasons most certainly. RIP to all the fallen.

Perhaps if you looked further than your nose you would see he isn't such a douche at all? Being tough? Having a no-shit attitude? Sure. But that's being a man. Being a leader. Would love if we had that more honestly. But I guess there is no room for the individual here, no room for the leader. Only for the follower. But that might just be me.

I heard that the thing which allegedly ''tipped it over the edge'' was Mr. Owens being ''rude'' towards some scrub in the coffee shops. Definitely something you kill a district over chaps.

With all due respect Ma'am, Kevin Owens was a man who lifted others up. He reached out to me when Synthesis was taken down. He cheered me on when I got demoted (which I truly deserved).  

I've gotten snippy with people when I've had a bad day..and I've had more than one bad day. I will always defend Kevin - He helped me in this world, and he made me believe in myself.

We all have our opinions. I've stated mine, you've stated yours. Your one carries more weight since you enforced it. What I do find disappointing is that you let Kimble make this speech because you were busy, and yet now you have enough time to comment on it multiple times?

If thats the case why was i the first one gunned down?? Weird, because i never spoke in the streets. So the reasoning i and other members of south philly were killed was because......? 

So YOU want everyone to act and be something you want them to be, like a tyrant? That is utter bollocks and you know it. You cannot dictate what others do. He was never out and out rude it was the way he was. If people had problems with him then why wasn't I involved. I mean i was his right-hand and something could of changed. In that case you've messed up. I should of known.

Maybe you and Kimble should continue picking gnats out of each others hair like the couple of chimps you are.

I feel, as a few others have expressed on the streets already that your decision and reasoning behind it is poor to say the least. So what if he ruffled a few feathers. What kind of impression are you sending to the new ones walking these streets. "Hey guys, do as your told, don't be yourself and you'll be just fine until Dup casts the final verdict. Na, it shouldn't be like that.
