The Mafioso- Dec 6 Started by: b10gangster on Dec 06, '09 12:20

Hello Mafioso

You may have noticed a change of name. The Mafioso newspaper has been
shortened to The Mafioso, but this is unimportant. Here is the news for this
week.

Marietta retires!

For many days and nights, this proud woman lead Detroit as Godmother. She
had achieved a great legacy for herself and Detroit. Then she handed all powers
of Godmother and everything that came with it to Godfather PedroRourke.

She is currently spending her days as a retired woman. Congrats to you
Godmother

Here is where you can see her goodbyes.

Rhuarc becomes Godfather

Godfather Rourke, ex-Don of Detroit, has moved his family to Saint Louis
after the deaths of Grassboy and BobbleGob. We have an interview with him in
the paper.

Hello Don Rhuarc

Thank you so much for having this interview with me. It is very appreciated.

So, on to the questions.

You were a Crew leader for Detroit a while back, and recently, Marietta has
retired. What are your feelings toward this?

Hello B10gangster,

It was a sad day when Marietta retire, she was a great leader, one which this
world will miss for some time to come.

I know. I am sure many people will miss
her.

How did you meet ex-Godmother Marietta?

I met Marietta though my father, he was a young gangster and Marietta was a
Boss Crew Leader, the first in the new city of Detroit. He joined her family
and worked in Detroit under her tutelage. He was there for some time until
eventually, he tried to kill her to help Mont, Caligula and Branston win their
war. He died for my efforts.

Interesting. I am sure many people
will love to hear this.

What plans do you have for SL?

I plan to rebuild the city, starting with the business district. I will be
offering rewards in time to come for the best business ventures.

I have plans on becoming Godfather and working with Striphe to increase the
population of the city to make St Louis a thriving city where Mafioso can come
to prosper.

That sounds great! Good luck then.

For my next question, what do you think of the death of Grassboy, and was
Detroit involved?

It is always a shame to see so many deaths though as a spectator,
relationships between the cities of New Orleans and St Louis were strained to
say the least. Detroit was not involved in the war.

For my next last question, what piece of
advice do you have for the Mafioso out there?

Talk.

The best way to progress in this world is to network and make connections. Huge
emphasis is put on weapons training but diplomacy and relationships are just as
vital.

So I would advise new Mafioso to get their name out there, talk to experienced
members of society and learn from them.

Wow, very nice advice.

Well, thank you so much for this interview with me, Don Rhuarc. Happy talking
with you.

Thank you

ForRent's last stand

ForRent, a rogue Crew leader for SL, had died. He had apparently continued
to fight the war for SL after the death of Grassboy and BobbleGob. He was then
taken down.

People continue to argue if what he did was loyalty, bravery, stupidity,
slaughter of innocents, and many other things.

Here is where you can see this argument

Grassboy & BobbleGob died

These Dons from SL have recently passed away from the recent war with NO.
RIP to both of them.

5 to 2

At one time, there were 5 papers, Blasphemy, The Mafioso, The Mafia Times,
The Mob News, and The New York Post, but it has been reduced to two, just my
paper, The Mafioso, and Don Lucretia_Borgia's, The New York Post.

Bloedsuier, owner of Blasphemy, had decided to close down his business, and
PussyCat and Pavement, owners of the Mafia Times and The Mob News, had died.
RIP to those two.

:Always a fan of a struggling young writer, Jerry slips a bill to the paperboy calling out from the street corner.  He takes a seat on a nearby bench, crosses his right leg over his left, and shakes the paper as he opens it to begin reading:

:After he is satisfied, he hands a letter adressed to the editor to the paperboy on the corner:

"Not a bad edition, b10.  I have heard stories through my predecessors about your own, and I know that you are a part of a very hard-working bloodline.  I don't doubt that you will continue to put in the effort necessary to improve your craft.  Best of luck.  Give me a shout if you would ever like a hand in editing your paper."

Report Post Tip

He stopped the Car near the news stand and grabbed a copy of the Mafioso, he got back in his Plymouth and read through the pages, then he places the paper on the passenger seat and drives off

Report Post Tip

Xanxus nodded. You did miss out a thing or two but it is better than your eariler efforts.

Report Post Tip

Tom picks up a copy of the paper and sits down at a table outside the cafe. He unfolds it to read the big stories and begins to nod and like what he saw.

"The paper was good. Your bloodline works hard at writing. Keep up the good work and I hope you never quit what your doing."
