King of the Ring - Calling All Fighters! Started by: FitzChivalry on Oct 10, '16 00:00

It was clear Chong was unhappy with the decision, convinced he would have ended his opponent if given a little extra time. Jumbo Chong headed backstage while Stoner_Marley stuck around for pictures with the press. "Awesome" Marley dedicated his win to his team and stated he couldn't have done it without them, particularly his cut guy who managed to keep his wound from becoming too much of a hindrance.

"What a fight folks, a real toe to toe there! Both men showing great spirit there and going the distance!!!

Now then, who's ready for more??"

The announcer laughed to himself as the crowd roared for some time, clearly they were enjoying the event thus far. Waving his arms to signal for some quiet, it was time for the next fight to be announced.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, for our next fight we are proud to introduce to you what is promised to be another fantastic spectacle...

INNNNNNNNN the blue corner, weighing in at 205 pounds and with a height of 6 foot 2 we have the Godfather himself, originally from Kyoto, Japan but now a pillar of The Loop, Chicago, it's SHINSUKE "INVINCIBLE" NAKAMURRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAA."

At this, the Chicago contingent went wild for their very own Godfather Nakamura, a man who lead by example and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty, it took some time for the crowd to settle down, it was clear that Chicago respected this man.

"Andddddd, in the red corner, fighting out of The Bronx, New York, weighing in the same as his opponent but standing at 5 foot and 9 inches we have DONNIE "THE GHOSTTTTTTTTTT" DOMINOOOOOOOOOOO."

A relatively unknown man but one of two fighters from out of New York in the competition, he had a good following here and the New York crowd was getting behind their man DonnieDomino. Their appeared to be a slight altercation between some of the fans from both sides, this was quickly stopped though when security made their way over there and cracked some skulls.

Both men were in good shape and they both looked up for this one, bouncing on their toes as they stared each other down, meanwhile the official called them to the centre of the ring and explained what he expected from both fighters, then he sent them back to their corners and signalled for the bell. The fighters touched gloves...

After sharing a blunt with his old friend Marley chuckled to himself...

" I get it you won I lost quit laughing about it " Chong said seemingly annoyed

" its not about that " Marley debated

" What would your old man say if he knew I whooped your ass " They both laughed

Marley looked up after taking another toke and with joy in his voice he said

" I'm just happy I could finally make Deces proud by winning my first fight Imma keep winning for her I'm going to bring this one back for Deces! "

" BrotherHec is next I owe him one for all the times he laughed at me for trying to pick his pockets back in the day before I was made "

" But all things aside though, that hit to the face Chong you owe me 10 doobies and a stoner chick for busting my eye ! lets go celebrate ! "

Stoner_Marley and Chong both smiled and made their way out while singing...

♫ Excuse me while I light my splif... Good god I gotta take a lift ♫

Fight 5

Donnie "The Ghost" Domino vs "Invincible" Shinsuke Nakamura

(Full fight available HERE)

The Godfather, "Invincible" Shinsuke Nakamura looked strange with his usually well coiffed barnet hanging shaggy and lose about his shoulders, but still seemed to be in remarkable shape for a senior citizen. As Yves Lavigne started the action, the yellow-trunked Nakamura tried to make a statement and lay his opponent out early with a menacing leg kick...only The Ghost telegraphed it and kicked the bollocks out of his standing leg, planting the main man in Illinois firmly on his arse

"I guess we know Donnie isn't going to be standing on reputation!" green called over to a very animated FitzChivalry who was shadow boxing in time with every strike, missing his wonderful word play in the process.

More embarrassed than hurt, Nakamura was soon back on his feet and returned the favour to Domino, introducing him to the floor with a stinging leg kick. Both men proceeded with more caution, trading blows and knees in the clinch, with Nakamura slightly edging it. But Donnie was soon back on the offensive himself, catching the bigger man's leg and driving him backwards. He mounted his fallen opponent and landed harsh, powerful blows to his face in a display of classic ground and pound action, leaving Nakamura desperately scrambling to get free.

With the round slipping away from him, Nakamura was the aggressor again launching a series of full-blooded strikes before managing to land a STUNNING HEAD KICK that staggered and almost dropped Domino to the deck! But he just about managed to hang on and they continued to measure each other until the bell sounded.

"That was tough to call, eh?" Fitz said to green as they took a drink whilst the lovely ring girls did their thing.

"Really close, aye. Depends what the judges like more, Nakamura's striking or Donnie's grappling"

They wouldn't know until the final bell sounded, if it even got that far and Donnie started round 2 as if he was determined that it wouldn't. He quickly swiped the bigger man's legs and powered him to the floor, but Shinsuke was wise to it this time and managed to wriggle free before taking too much damage. They both rose to their feet, Donnie looking frustrated and he momentarily lost concentration, throwing a lazy right hand at Nakamura who batted it aside and lunged at him, driving him onto his back, scoring a clean takedown in the process. That always played well with the judges.

"He's going for the submission!" green cried, frantically nudging Fitz's arm, as if he wasn't just as glued to the action as green was.

"Too soon! Too soon!" Fitz was yelling back at him, and he seemed to be right, Domino wouldn't tap and he managed to break the hold with an elbow into Nakamura's jaw.

He might have broken the submission, but the Godfather continued to throw vicious looking fists and hooks into The Ghost's face and body, maintaining his position on top of him. Desperately close to being stopped, Donnie managed to hook his legs into Nakamura's thighs and drag himself free; just in the nick of time! But it seemed that the reprieve was short lived, with Nakamura quickly taking down the Bronx man for a second time in quick succession, much to chagrin of the numerous New Yorkers in the crowd!!

"Fucking do something, Donnie!" one particularly loud-mouthed bastard yelled. Maybe The Ghost heard him, maybe he got lucky or maybe he just had a moment of inspiration, but right then he started swinging madly at Invincible's face, temporarily stunning and he took his chance, managing to shake Nakamura's weight and roll him right over, gaining control of the situation. Fists and elbows thundered down into Nakamura's vulnerable face causing groans and cheers from the crowd in equal measure!!

"Jesus Christ!" green yelled as Nakamura rolled and squirmed onto his back and frantically covered up, rescued by the unmistakable chime of the bell. As the men broke, it was clear Invincible's face was a mess, but the effort seemed to have taken something out of Donnie too who slumped heavily onto his stool.

"FINAL ROUND!" the referee yelled and both men came out swinging, Donnie with front kicks and gut punches, Shinsuke with knees and headkicks. It would be the latter who gained the first advantage, catching a leg kick aimed to knock his off his shoulders and sweeping Donnie to the floor, before pounding him repeatedly in the face! But he wasn't having it all his own way, Donnie was picking his moments well and after he managed to weather the storm, he countered with a beautiful, STUNNING FRONT KICK, dropping the winded Nakamura to the floor, before Donnie swarmed him with rapid-fire punches to the face and body.

"Fuck these guys are tough!" Fitz said in admiration of the gutsy display from both, leaving nothing in reserve. Nakamura regained his feet, but The Ghost flew through the air and caught him with a flying superman punch. Nakamura responded by dropping the tiring New Yorker to the floor. Donnie rebounded, never knowing when he was beat and put Nakamura back to the dirt with another sickening leg kick. Things continued to see-saw, a takedown from Nakamura, a big shot from Ghost, another takedown from Nakamura, but reversed into a choke by Ghost. It was nip and tuck and both men were blowing hard when the bell finally sounded.

Who had won it? Nobody knew. Both men had their hands in the air. The New Yorkers roared for Donnie "The Ghost" Domino and the guys from Chicago were just as deafening cheering for "Invincible" Shinsuke Nakamura

The official grabbed a hand from either man and the ring announcer held up his own to try and be heard over the din.

"Ladies and gentlemen..what a fight! WHAT A FIGHT! AFTER 3 ROUNDS OF ACTION....WE GO TO THE JUDGES SCORECARDS WHERE WE HAVE..........A SPLIT DECISION!" the whole place went fucking crazy. Nobody knew which way it was going to go, DonnieDomino had held his own after Nakamura's strong start and who had won the last was anyone's guess.

"STEVEN GREENSBERG SCORES THE BOUT 29-28 TO.......NAKAMURA" The Chicago fans leapt to their feet and the New Yorkers looked ready to riot.

"ROBERTO MONTANES SCORES THE BOUT 29-28 IN FAVOUR OF...................DONNIE DOMINO" The place was about to explode and green was worried they wouldn't be able to handle the brawl that inevitably was about to follow. The air simmered with pending violence.

"AND MR JAMES KNOWLES SCORES THE CONTEST 29-28 IN FAVOUR OF YOUR WINNER......AND ADVANCING TO THE NEXT ROUND OF THE KING OF THE RING TOURNAMENT......"INVINCIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEE" SHINSUKEEEEEEEEEEE NAKAMURAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

The world detonated at the sound of the decision and green had never heard anything like it. His security team piled in to split as many of the warring fans apart as he could, but bottles and fists flew in all directions. The two fighters didn't care, Nakamura was on his knees, thanking every lucky star he could fucking name and Donnie looked ready to leap over the side of the cage at any moment and join in the war with his boys.

After several minutes, a lot of bruised knuckles and more than a few damaged egos, green staggered back to his seat besides Fitz as order was slowly restored...

"That was fucking insane."

After the crowd had settled, the announcer came back out to the ring and caught the attention of the crowd. As much as some had been angry with the decision of the last match, they were eager to see more action.

"Ladies and Gentleman, IIIIIIIIT'S TIME"

The crowd grew quiet and awaited to see who would be fighting next. Fitz could hardly contain himself and was sure a little bit of wee came out, he'd have to change his pants at some point. Luckily he had an office within the casino and several spare pairs of undercrackers in case of mishaps such as these.

"In the red corner, fighting out of Downtown, Detroit, weighing in at 205 pounds and standing at 6 foot 3 inches tall, it's the Don of Don's, Christian "Bam Bammmmmmmm" GATOOOOOOOOO."

The Detroit contingent roared with enthusiasm, while their man entered and looked calm and collected, rolling his shoulders and slowly he paced in front of his corner, waiting for his opponent.

"This should be good" green said to Fitz "Gato's always been a tough SOB"

"And in the blueeeee corner. This fighter hails from Paradise, Las Vegas"

A huge roar erupted as all the natives cheered for a home grown competitor as he entered the cage.

"This fighter hails from Paradise, Las Vegas, he weighs in at 205 pounds and stands shorter than his opponent at 5 feet and 10 inches. Please welcome, your very own, "THE GENTLEMAN", WILDDDDDDD HORSESSSSSSSSS"

Some of the crowd began to neigh and cheer.

The ref called both men to the centre of the stage, laid down the law and got them to touch gloves and back off. The crowd were whipping themselves in to a frenzy again and were eager to see the fight begin.

"Fight!" The referee called and the two fighters approached each other, gloves out.

Fight 6

Christian "Bam Bam" Gato vs "The Gentleman" Wild Horses

(Full fight available HERE)

Both men started the fight showing their intentions, after a flurry of blows from both brawlers Bam Bam Gato was floored with a crafty and well timed low kick from The Gentleman. Gato quickly returned to his feet though and traded blows with his opponent again, delivering 1, 2, 3 kicks and managing to take the back leg of Wild Horses just as The Gentleman was throwing a roundhouse of his own. With Wild_Horses on his back, ChristianGato attempted to take advantage and dived on top of Wild Horses while delivering some ground and pound action before his opponent managed to break free and both fighters brought the action back to it's feet. Both men appeared to take a reserved approach after the ground skirmish and although there were some exchanges, not many seemed to land or inflict much damage.

"Too much respect shown, they both seem too cautious" Stated green with a shake of his head.

Midway through the round, Gato threw a wild front kick and managed to connect with it, but it appeared to not bother The Gentleman as he went for a takedown and brought his guy to the floor, with Gato guarding himself well, Wild Horses couldn't seem to take advantage of his dominant position and both got back to their feet. After another trade of blows neither fighter really seemed to be able to hurt the other. Finally the bell rang and the end of the round was received to a chorus of boos. Clearly the crowd wanted more from each fighter.

"Let's hope this next round is fucking better eh?" Fitz grumbled.

And with the official's signal, the round started. After some words of encouragement from their corners both fighters seemed buoyed up now and straight away Gato started laying into his opponent and managed to rock him with a superb uppercut.

"That's more fucken like it" shouted Disorder who had managed to clean himself up and come to the stands to watch the remaining fights.

Wild recovered quickly and began to throw some punches of his own, both men seemed well up for it now and both began swinging wildly. Both fighters continued the round with the same enthusiasm and with a swift head kick from Gato, it signalled the end of the round.

"That's definitely Bam Bam's round there" Fitz stated. "He seems up for it now"

Meanwhile the referee called both fighters from their corners to get ready for the final around, Wild Horses cut guy had worked wonders and managed to deal with a cut that had opened up at the corner of his eye. While Gato seemed unaffected by anything his opponent had hit him.

The final round! Both fighters came in and touched gloves and seemed to begin as they had left off. This time however, Wild_Horses seemed to be bringing the fight to Gato and scored a takedown not once, not twice, but thrice. Each time delivering blows to his opponent from on top. For his troubles, The Gentleman's eye got progressively worse throughout the round and could be often seen trying to wipe blood from his eye, which offered an opportunity for Horses to strike. Both fighters appeared to tire toward the end of the round and the last 30 seconds saw both men mainly catching their breath until the final bell called.

"That round was definitely Wild Horses'" green declared. "I've no idea what way the judges will score this one though. It's just too tough to call!"

"You're right, this could be anyone's" Disorder stated.

"You see the state of Horses' eye though? That shit was messed up" Fitz replied.

.... "And the winner, by unanimous decision is.... "THE GENTLEMANNNNNN" WILDDDDDDDDD HORSESSSSSS"

After some boo's from the Detroit contingent and several calls stating that the judges had been paid off, both fighters headed off back stage.

Kerosene, having recovered well enough from the knee to his face at the end of fight one, sits halfway back in the audience, drinking and conversing with several random spectators.

"These have been insanely good fights," he yells over the thunderous crowd. "What?" yells back one of the spectators. "Insanely good fights!" repeats Kerosene, but the din is too strong to hear.

As the action mounts, he sits back and looks around to see where to place bets on the upcoming fights.

Report Post Tip

green finished shaking hands with the defeated Don and returned to his seat next to Fitz and the battered form of Disorder.

"I'd fancy you to flatten him, General." green said, nodding towards the departing back of "The Gentleman"but Disorder didn't engage with him and simply grunted in response. He was scary like that sometimes, Disorder; hard to read, especially after he'd knee'd the bollocks out of someone's jaw,

"What's up next, green?" Fitz asked, taking a long slurp of his banana daiquiri and dissipating the awkwardness of the silence.

Managing to disregard the hideous slupring sounds and the much smacking of lips from his number two, green flipped through the card to see who the next two fighters were..."Invincible "Ice Man" Imperial and "Mr Untouchable Fish the Kitty" he said.

"I have seen this Imperial" announced Disorder, suddenly sanpping back to reality. rolling his shoulders all the while "I would like to destroy him"

green didn't really know what to say to that, so he just patted their giant on the back and tried not to engage him in his more homicidal tendencies. Fortunately, the ring announcer made his presence known and spared green from hearing anything further disturbing.

"LADIESSSSSSSSSS AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNN" he wailed into his microphone "we are proud to bring to you our penultimate fight of the evening....are you ready?!"

The crowd roared their approval and the two fighters each made their way to the cage.

"IN THE BLUE COOOOOOORNER....standing 5'8" tall and weighing in at 205 pounds, hailing from Sunbury, Pennsylvania, working out of the Old City District, Philadelphia, with the blue trunks with black trim...he is..."MR UNTOUCHABLEEEEEEEE" FISH THE KITTTTTTTTTTY"

As his name is called Fish the Kitty blows kisses to the crowd, whether this was meant to endear him to them or antagonise them, green wasn't sure, but it certainly achieved the latter.

"AND IN THE RED COOOOOOOOOORNER.....tipping the scales at 205 pounds, standing 6'3" tall wearing the turquoise and black trunks, he is Las Vegas's own....INVINCIBLEEE "ICE MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN" IMPERRRIALLLLLLLLL!!"

The thoroughly drunk and incensed crowd took to the news that the man in turquoise was one of their own like a dog with two dicks. They were absolutely made up, they cheered him like he was on parade and the remarks about Fish The Kitty's mother were enough to make even the most profane of blasphemers blush.

The referee passed on some final instructions, both men touched gloves...it was time to fight.

Kerosene stands up and gets ready to root on the fight. This will be a stellar conflict and he can't wait to see how it turns out. Even though he lost his first fight, he's more fired up than ever to come back in a subsequent tournament and prove himself.

He waves his hands in the air and roots both the competitors on. Then, he takes a swig from his hidden canteen and slaps a few fans on their hands before pointing at the amazing spectacle before them.

This was going to seriously be an epic fight. He couldn't wait to see the outcome!

Fight 7

Invincible "Ice Man" Imperial vs "Mr Untouchable" Fish TheKitty

(Full fight available HERE)

With both men starting the fight cautiously, they chose their shots carefully. Despite the hostile crowd it seemed to be The Kitty who was landing with the most success and scoring takedowns on his opponent. Several times throughout the round Mr Untouchable managed to send his man to the canvas with a well timed takedown and midway through the round after some ground and pound action, Imperial had taken a cut to the nose due to the continuing punishment he had been receiving. Despite his long reach and throwing out shots of his own, Fish's movement was on point and nothing really seemed to touch him. Not until very late in the round did we really see "Ice Man" come out of his shell. He managed to reverse his position while on the ground and turned the tables on his opponent, then after delivering a HUGE elbow, Imperial began hammering his fists into the face of Mr Untouchable. Eventually, FishTheKitty pushed Imperial off him and managed to get back to his feet. The end of the round was signalled just as Ice Man delivered a massive round house to the head of his opponent. Both fighters retired to their corner and Imperial's team started working on that cut to minimise the damage. If he started opening his mouth to breath, it would leave him susceptible to a knockout.

"A good finish to the round there for Imperial, I reckon The Kitty edged that one though!" Stated Fitz aloud.

The second round began with both fighters exchanging well, Imperial in particular was attempting to use his kicks as a way from keeping the smaller guy at bay. Several time Kitty managed to find himself on the inside and deliver blows of his own. Both fighters looked up for this one and the crowd were cheering on both guys now that Kitty had showed great heart in that first round. After an exchange on the floor which resulted in further blood coming from the face of Imperial, The Kitty managed to get on the inside and deliver a kick, followed by two great punches which resulted in further damage to the face of the Ice Man. The Ice Man picked it up after this, taking down his opponent and after what appeared to be an intentional headbutt missed by the official, The Kitty had a cut of his own on his face. After this, the two fighters continued to trade well and it seemed as if Ice Man may have just edged it with his more aggressive approach in that round.

"I've got it at 1 a piece now" green called out over the roar of the crowd.

"So it's all down to this one then" Fitz replied.

"Well done, Captain Obvious" said green, rolling his eyes at his right hand man.

Both fighters returned to the centre and touched gloves for the final time, this was it, it came down to this round and straight away you could see both were in it to win it. Shortly into the round Imperial delivered several shots followed by a huge spinning back kick to the face of Fish, the Ice Man was slowly taking control of the round, delivering kicks and keeping the shorter fighter at bay. After catching a kick Kitty sweeped Imperial off his feet and began hammering away at his face from up top, delivering two huge punches which saw blood splatter around the canvas, with seconds remaining both fighters continued to trade off until the official ended the round.

"I can't call this one lads" Scipio said "It's just too close, I'm not sure which was it's going to go"

With the crowd calling out for their man Imperial the announcer came into the ring to deliver the scores.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, THE JUDGES HAVE SCORED THIS SPECTACULAR BOUT AS A SPLIT DECISION."

"STEVEN GREENSBERG SCORES THE BOUT 29-28 TO.......THE ICE MANNNN" The Vegas fans began to roar.

"ROBERTO MONTANES SCORES THE BOUT 29-28 IN FAVOUR OF...................FISH THE KITTY" This was received with boo's form the hostile crowd, despite getting behind their man earlier, the amount of fans from Vegas overwhelmed the rest.

"AND MR JAMES KNOWLES SCORES THE BOUT 29-28 IN FAVOUR OF YOUR WINNER......AND ADVANCING TO THE NEXT ROUND OF THE KING OF THE RING TOURNAMENT...... INVINCIBLE ICEMAN IMPEEEEEEEEERIAL!!!!!!!"

The Vegas crowd went wild as another home grown Vegas fighter progresses on to the next round.

Report Post Tip

As things gradually calmed down after the last fight the announcer brings himself into the ring once more. By this point the crowd knew which fight was coming and they also knew both men had previously been in a battle of words, it had been all over the papers of late and it was definitely a major reason why so many people had turned up. This was almost the main event as many wanted to see just how things would go down after the war of words. With the crowd wondering if the fighters could back up what they had said.

As both men made their way to the ring a huge cheer came from the crowd. Fitz and green also joined in, with this being the final fight of the evening, Fitz hoped it would be a good one and a great finish to what had been an amazing evening.

Once both men were in the ring you could see the focus and the desire to win etched on each mans face. While Chibs was bouncing on the balls of his feet, shadow boxing in the air, JoeRosoga was pacing up and down his corner staring at his opponent. This was going to be a war Fitz decided.

"This should be a fucking brawl!" Fitz shouted.

"Kick his ass, sea bass" Another spectator shouted.

green was also up on his feet for this one, sreaming "Let's get this fucker started!"

The official brought both men to the centre of the ring and after explaining the rules both quickly backed off and began bouncing on their feet ready to go to war.

It was time for the final bout of the evening.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, FOR THE FINAL BOUT OF THE EVENING WE BRING TO YOU TWO FIGHTERS FROM OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE COUNTRY.

HAILING FROM PHILADELPHIA, AND FIGHTING OUT OF THE BLUE CORNER, WEIGHING IN AT 205 POUNDS AND STANDING AT HEIGHT OF 6 FEET AND 1 INCH, IT'S JOE "THE WARIORRRRR" ROSOOOOOOOGAAAAAAAA

AND IN THE OPPOSITE CORNER, HAILING FROM LOS ANGELES, STANDING AT A HEIGHT OF 6 FEET AND WEIGHING 205 POUNDS IT'S CHIBS "BIIIIIIG DADDY" TELFORRRRRRRRD"

The crowd went wild at the announcers words and waited for the fight to begin.

Fight 8

Chibs "Big Daddy" Telford vs Joe "The Warrior" Rosoga

(Full fight available HERE)

Although both men came out touching gloves, this one was a grudge match and instantly the fighters began swinging at one another. As a boxer Chibs came in close to his opponent in order to get inside and limit the reach JoeRosoga would have with his kicks, preferring to use his powerful and speedy hands instead.

Both men exchanged blows and Chibs himself attempted some kicks, however those that came in his direction were left unchecked and it became clear this was a weakness that Rosoga was trying to exploit. As he picked off more and more kicks against "Big Daddy" Telford, Rosoga seemed to get more comfortable and it wasn't until later on in the round when JoeRo became complacent with a sloppy kick that Chibs managed to get a foothold back in the fight, catching the leg of Rosoga and sending him to the mat with a takedown. With Chibs on top, he began to hammer away at his opponents face before allowing the fight to come back to it's feet.

The end of the round saw Rosoga land a takedown of his own and attempt a submission, but Chibs quickly wormed his way out of it just before the bell rang to signal the end of the first.

"What a round!" Fitz called out and it appeared that the crowd were enjoying this one too. All around the room people signalled their appreciation with cheering and whistling.

The 2nd round saw Chibs start strong while landing several unanswered blows. In an attempt to get back into the round Rosoga began throwing kicks, one managing to hurt Chibs as it struck his leg, leaving the latter limping and taking several steps back to get out of range. Rosoga then began bringing the fight back to Chibs, another kick aimed at him was answered with another caught foot and another takedown from Chibs, again using his powerful and speedy hands he delivered crushing blows to The Warrior's face without a response. Finally The Warrior managed to break free and both fighters got back to their feet. With Rosoga knowing his best chance is in the kicking game, he then began trying to pick off his opponent with leg and body kicks, but Chibs seemed to have listened to his corner and threw one of his own and rocked his opponent. In response Joe had thrown out a measly kick aimed at Telford's body but again he caught it and sent his man down to the canvas. Once more Telford began raining down blows on to the other fighter and although Rosoga sent some back they didn't seem to affect Big Daddy at all, who continued to strike at will until eventually JoeRo slid into full guard and began hammering away at Chibs' left eye, opening a cut there which sent a spray of blood onto the canvas. It looked deep and when both men managed to find their feet again, Chibs was in trouble, he could hardly see out of the eye and Rosoga started landing shots at will while all Chibs could do was throw some wild shots out of his own, rarely connecting. Later on in the round Chibs seemed to recover some of his site and managed to send a burst of punches at The Warrior, but then out of nowhere, The Warrior landed a jumping Superman punch and very nearly rocked Chibs.

With his site now seemingly clear Chibs began to start throwing some of his own kicks and landing them however with time ticking down and both fighters appearing to get tired Chibs threw a slow jab which was countered by The Warrior with a HUGE uppercut, this wobbled Chibs and The Warrior followed it up with a right hook to the temple and sent his man sprawling to the canvas, Chibs was barely conscious as JoeRosoga climbed on top of his man and began hammering him with punches to the face, eventually as the limp body of Chibs stopped moving the official stepped in. IT WAS ALL OVER!!!

The crowd boo'd clearly displeased that the referee hadn't stepped in sooner, some had said the guy could have died the way those punches were coming in.

After some time Chibs managed to get to his feet, shaking off the recent concussion and looking bloodied and worse for wear, his team quickly wiped his face and body of blood and both men returned to the centre of the ring to announce the winner by TKO.

"...JOE "THE WARRIOR" ROSOOOOOOOOOOGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA."

Report Post Tip

Chibs, still disoriented from the constant skull crushing, raised his arms and started celebrating as the winner was announced. He had no idea who he was, what he was doing, or what the people surrounding him were plotting. He damn near kicked one of them in the chin as they reached for him, but he was so off-balanced he fell flat on his ass.

He started crawling away from everyone, heading towards the back. When he finally composed himself, his crawl turned into a slow walk. Upon his arrival out back, he was greeted by his Left Hand Man, SLKF. He informed Chibs of what had happened. Every little detail.

"Fuck."

Report Post Tip

Joe still had adrenaline pumping through his body, heart beating fast. The end of the fight had been called abruptly, one punch turned the fight from a boring never ending escapade into a major KO. The fight had gone on longer than he wanted to but he wanted to make sure his opponent was feeling cocky enough to let his guard down, as soon as Joe seen that he had done that it was over. In the last few seconds of the fight adrenaline took over and became insta-rage as Joe sat over his opponent landing hard punch after hard punch straight into his skull, due to the adrenaline Joe doesn't notice his opponent slip out, and he keeps firing landing shot after shot, until a ref comes over and separates Joe from his opponent. Joe watches the other man, he thinks his name was chibs wake up, while his team looked at him with concern, wiping the blood from his face, and body. Chibs jumped up and raised his arms like he was the victor, obviously not realizing what was happening, he instantly gets a lost look on his face and goes a little crazy. Joe had nearly beat a man to death, and it wasn't the first time, the only reason Joe wasn't a professional kick boxer was due to the "accident". As the announcers, and fans screamed his name Joe put on a big smile, and waved. After the fight was over Joe walked over to his Right Hand Man AlphabetOmaley whom had been waiting with his clothes, to keep his patch safe. He threw them on hurriedly in the bathroom, and the two men walked out probably to end up in a bar somewhere.

Report Post Tip

With the first round of fights completed, green was delighted the opening night had been such a success. Sure, they had nearly had a riot, almost certainly need to host a sit down or three and Chibs would probably never manage a fully coherent sentence again, but all in all, "success" seemed the right word.

green's quiet moment of reflection was interrupted by the arrival of FitzChivalry, the hulking form of Disorder not far behind. Although he couldn't see him, green also knew from experience that Camp would be merrily mincing his way in Disorder's shadow somewhere too. He sighed to himself.

"What can I do for you, gents?"

"Fighters are getting restless, boss" Fitz said hooking a thumb in Disorder's direction, who was a real life wall-bouncing example of what he meant "I've broken up three fights in the gym already - if we don't sanction the next round soon, these guys are going to kill each other!"

green stood up and clapped a hand on Disorder's shoulder "that right, lad? You want to get back in the cage?"

Disorder stopped prowling and smiled his rictus grin and nodded "Oh yes, boss. With the biggest bastard you can find!"

"Ha!" Snorted Fitz "You see? He's fucking ready. They all are, green. Let's get this show back on the road."

green smiled and returned to his desk. He scribbled a few quick, sharp lines onto the corner of a sheet of paper and then tore it off, folded it "Here" he said, holding it out to FitzChivalry "get some of the boys to circle this around":

Quarter Finals

Fight 1

Invincible "Ice Man" Imperial vs Joe "The Warrior" Rosoga

Fight 2

"Pretty Boy" Brother Hec vs Bob "Awesome" Marley

Fight 3

"Invincible" Shinsuke Nakamura vs "The Gentleman" Wild Horses

Fight 4

General Disorder "The Destroyer" vs Pizza "Bazooka" Lover

"This will be good man, very good" Fitz said with a grin after reading it "I'll get the word out - won't be a seat in the house!"

green could feel the excitement radiating off him and couldn't help but flash a grin on his own at the thought of what the crowd had in store for them. He knew he could leave the details in the capable hands of his right hand man, so he returned to his desk to finish his latest poker stratagem.

"Who've I got? WHO'VE I GOT?! TELL ME FITZ YOU MOTHERFUCKER" He heard Disorder yelling as the pair retreated down the hallway.

Pity the man who gets that crazy fucker, green thought. Poor PizzaLover.

"Front row," Kerosene tells the man behind the ticket stand. "Two. We're not missing this." He leans over the counter. "Where do you put your bets down in this place?" he asks.

The man behind the counter shrugs. "We's on the up and up," he says. "You might find someone willing to take some heat action if you look hard enough."

Kerosene shrugs. "If you hear anything, let me know. I'm staying at the Grand."

He walks off, getting some rest before the next fights.

Marley hears the release of the quarter finals match up and explodes with excitement

" HELL YES!!! Hec vs me? well shit... its like god heard my request! "

Taking a toke of his pineapple express Marley smiles

" That was an intense first round this next round should be incredible, I wonder if I'll have a fan base if I win my next match? "

" Maybe I should start practicing a catch phrase? I know the perfect one! "

Joe walked into the gym after a rough night of drinking in his boxing shorts and a white T-Shirt he walked up to a staff member and asked to see a score card for the next major fight.

"Hmm...The Ice Man himself. This shall be an interesting fight."

Joe thanked the man and walked over to a punching bag. He thought to himself as he pulled on his gloves and got into fighting stance.

Joe had seen the fight, he knew Mr. Imperial was a big guy, a very big guy at that, not only in height but in mass aswell, however Joe was by no means short, and he had been fighting for years. Joe knew the man was not very good at protecting himself when it came to take-downs and his defense in general was weak. He was a big guy and he knew it, he let his ego get the better of him, Joe noticed during his fight that he would take hit after hit with minimal attempt to block, and protect himself, that's bad, especially against a fighter like Joe who had been raised on Boxing, and several types of mixed martial arts. Joe's roots were in fighting, his father had been a wealthy "businessmen" and was rarely around. In all truth Joe's father had been the type of man who did nothing but party, cheat on Joe's mom, and attempt to substitute being a dad for the money he sent home. On top of that Joe's father was killed when Joe was around 10 years old, and his mother had little formal education, she never needed it, however with Joe's father dead they no longer had any money coming in and moved to the slums where Joe had fought to survive. That is until a local gym owner saw Joe's potential and began training him to fight, first boxing, then as Joe grew into a teenager he had incorporated kick boxing into his routine. Joe had fought for many years after that...until his accident. Joe grew angry and began putting the punching back to work.

The fight announcement had created quite a buzz on The Strip and there was plenty of attention from both the "community" and the wider civilian population too. Apparently, it turns out whether you knock over a post office or just deliver the mail, violence is violence and it is still fun to watch. With this in mind, prior to their next bouts, green and FitzChivalry decided to let a couple of journalists chat to the fighters - purely on the understanding that no "business" was mentioned of course. It helped that the mob controlled all of their papers and had most of the editors in their pockets too, but it never hurt to set ground rules all the same.

Imperial and JoeRosoga were the first to answer questions and they didn't pull any punches.

"Why would I be worried about "Ice Man" or anything he does? That guy's a chump." Joe barked, having been asked about what Imperial would bring to the fight. "You see this?" He adds, holding his left fist up for everyone to get a good look at "This will be the last thing Imperial sees. This is going to put him to fucking sleep. You can ask Chibs just how hard I hit - if you can any sense out of him yet. HA!"

If JoeRosoga's mouth bothered Imperial he wasn't showing it "Joe's all fucking talk. All talk. He'll be stuck holding his dick when I kick his fucking lights out, see how many jokes he's cracking then."

green wasn't sure how much of this would be able to print and with temperatures rising, FitzChivalry decided to bring out the next two fighters BrotherHec and Stoner_Marley.

When both men had arrived, green nodded to the first journalist to begin.

"Hi, Marley, Sweeney here, Mob News; who do you consider to be the favourite to win the tournament and take home the $10,000,000?" The nervous looking journo managed to blubber out.

"For me" Marley answered in thick drawl "I would make myself favourite. I haven't been tested and most of these guys are big, slow and stupid. First round was just a warm up and I'm ready to put my stamp on this event"

"How's the cut from the last fight, that going to cause you any problems tomorrow?" Sweeney asked, quickly scribbling away onto his notepad.

Marley shrugged his shoulders "seems fine now, but getting punched in the face might change things." He smiled "my plan is to leave Pretty Boy with an ugly mug like mine!!"

This drew a laugh from the room, including from PrettyBoy Brother Hec "Jesus Christ! he would have to hit me with a fuckin' bus all night to leave me looking as bad as him!!" Hec crowed to the amusement of the gathering.

"Seriously though" he continued when everyone had regained their composure "I have nothing but respect for Marley. It takes a lot of balls to get in the ring with a guy who's got 7 inches on you, but even more so to do it with a haircut that stupid looking!"

Marley bounced up from his chair ready to launch into the fight right then, only FitzChivalry jumped in between and held him back. The journalists looked horrified and green decided that maybe this hadn't been the best idea.

"I think we'll leave it there" he muttered "I don't want anyone dying before the fight tonight..."
