Tatoo's and respect! Started by: Sneakyrat_ on Jul 03, '10 23:19

Hoopi... the way i see it LV is pp friendly... but does'nt forbid me to wear a tag. If this event occured in LV... it is still lack of respect of my tattoo. Lack of respect for me. And if i dont pp in LV, i dont find that it is lack of respect. Their rules does'nt state that i HAVE to pp somebody.. it just states that if people want to pp, they can do it! And if i do happen to be in LV when it happened.... i would'nt complain... that would be my own fault. But it did not occur in LV... it occured in NO... lack of respect for my tattoo but most important for the whole city of NO. So in your opinion Hoopi... if i am in LV, am i to rub off my tattoo? I dont think so... and if someone pp's me there? I would just look the other way and continue on. I always follow city rules... i find that it is most important to do so. My respect to LV is the same as any other city... i respect their rules as i would any other citie's.

Galactus put his hand on Sneakyrat's shoulder.

Listen here, everyone is entitled to their own opinion(s),we might think differently about what Hoopi is saying but some things are meant to be understood and some are not.

Do you see what im saying?

Sneakyrat tips his hat to all the fine people and very honorable ones that came out here today and debated about his issue. Someday, he can only hope to see people respect one another... like the old days. But this is Cosa Nostra... this thing of ours! And we tend to think that ours is what is theirs... what can i say.

"Thankyou all for your interesting statements. It sure gave me something to think about. Have a very good day!"

With this... Sneakyrat smiles to everyone and steps down the crate.

Correct, it doesn't forbid you wearing a tag, but you are directly telling people not to PP you, despite that city's leadership declaring their city fully open. So, to summarise, someone breaking NO's rules is showing a lack of respect for the NO leaders (not to mention your tattoo), but the flipside I've described in LV doesn't apply to you. In that case, you're allowed to display something in an effort - albeit a failed effort if someone fancies challenging you on it - to overrule that city's policy? Hmm. And yes, I understand you wouldn't complain if you were PPed in LV, but my point is you are trying to pre-empt that by stating your own policies, contrary to that of the city you are in.

Anyway, I can't take another shot on the roundabout with you over this. The point is, I don't think you're saying much worthwhile here, you are basically moaning because you were PPed and you don't know who did it.

Galactus then approaches Hoopi again.

So are you saying that Sneakyrat didnt mean what he stated about respect and basically he was ticked off because somebody PP him and he dont know who it was?

I think Sneaky is opening up a can that has been debated in the past but a can which he has a vested interest in.

Is it disrespectful for him to enter a city which is PP friendly with a no PP tattoo on him, I personally don’t think so. Should he complain about being PP’d there then yes it would be disrespectful however as long as whilst in the city he doesn’t complain about it he is accepting the rules of the city. Chances are by bringing this to the attention of the population I expect a number of high ranking people to be putting their hands in his pocket whenever he is in LV. However that is a side issue.

To me city rules are the over ride of whatever you have tattooed on you, they are also only as good as the person enforcing them. I have little doubt that should certain high ranking individuals chose to do actions in violation of city rules then they would be able to should they chose to. However I have a level of faith in the respect they both command and give out that they wouldn’t chose to do so. On a personal level I have always found it odd that any city which doesn’t have a someone of the highest rank within this thing of ours can possible have rules. That is a whole different discussion though.

I'm pointing out what I see to be some potential double standards with regards to respect and I'm saying that the main thrust of this is not about respect but being about being disgruntled. I think what I'm saying is fairly clear to be honest.

Basically... you can think what you want Hoopi... am i moaning or debating? I think i have made myself quite clear on what i am actualy doing. As for LV's rules... i will see if my tattoo is disrespecting them. Since i havent caused issues because of pp's in LV... i think that i do respect LV's rules. I see we are going in circles and you are trying to find a hole in my speach. But the facts are clear... and most people agree with me. This was a debate and it surely cleared some of my issues concerning pp'ing. The guy got away with it...masked men usualy do, until someone rats on him of course. Maybe this will open someones mind, we never know hehe!

Sneakyrat tips his hat to Hoopi and tends to more urgent matters...

I just want to add one more thing before i leave. What ever opinion everyone has on this subject.... note that i respect them. Everyone is in title of his own opinion and speak his mind. My intention is not to upset anyone, it was just another debate. I would like to thank all the highly esteemed people that came here today and know that i am truly honored of your presence. I might also rub off my tattoo, for Hoopi has made a interesting comment that made me change my mind on a personal issue. And know that i am honest and truly grateful to this day!

I doubt you've upset anyone, sneaky, nothing wrong with a good street discussion regardless of where your opinion falls.

Report Post Tip

However its only really wrong to pickpocket someone if you get killed for it. Otherwise its fair game as Tom Cruise would say. Wish these thugs who come in with 'PP me and I'll raise my trigger finger finger finger' would get mugged more often. That sneakyrat though, sheeeeet, he's crazy isn't he? I was well upset by what he was saying.
