Tired and hungry Sal told his driver to find the nearest restaurant and pull into the parking lot. The drive spotted The Blackhawk and did exactly what Sal said. Sal walked in with three men all his friends and security. Sal ordered ribeye steaks stuffing covered in a brown gravy and baked potatoes. Each man choose their on wine and then they sat there smoking cigars and talking about what they saw and whats going on. The food arrived and they made a toast to the days events and then started eating. Sal eat slowly as he continued his conversation his wine was sweet and smooth. They cover tomorrow business and who was doing what. They didn't use names just locations and issues that needed to be addressed. |

TBJ walked in with a dozen henchmen they took four tables. He ordered breaded pork chops, mashed potatoe's and brussel sprouts. He also ordered wine and laughed as he pulled out the money to feed himself and the clowns with him. He made a joke but the waiter didn't laugh and then TBJ told him the next one would be funny and promised that he would laugh. The waiter looked at TBJ and said clowns never made him laugh. TBJ head tilled to the right and ask did he look like a clown, was he there to amuse him, the waiter shook his head no very quickly then moved to the next table. |

It was thanksgiving in the states and Joker walked into the Blackhawk and took a seat at a booth. He ordered the thanks giving special. Turkey breast thin slices, mashed potatoes, stuffing with a turkey gravy, string beans, hot buttered rolls and candy yams, apple pie with white wine. Joker wonder what were his two brothers were up to. They were killing each other more than likely. The food was filling and he needed to smoke a cigarette after the fact. He looked at the waitress who was getting hammered by rude customers and she was doing her best to keep a smile. He asked how much did she make a month as a waitress with tips. She said $60 bucks was her best month. Joker smiled and gave her $100 tip and then paid his dinner bill still leaving a $13 tip. She smiled and hugged him. He hugged her back and told her to keep smiling. |

A festival for celebration, and Logan was no different for wishing that he could make some sort of understanding with all parties. He was not, well, what the city would call a welcomed neccessity. He had nothing to offer, yet. They could not do business without him, he even had friends, and Remy was going to be necessary for that. New Orleans was a city that he had wished to understand. Now? He could carefully bring himself to understand it with all its greatest cries for wealth. He had already made plans, shipments, bribes, and officials on city councils made work a lot more playful than they could begin to understand. What was he suppoed to do? Alas, it is why he is dressed like this. A black suit, pleated shirt and a yellow striped tie. He feels exposed. A lot less welcomed than he should truly be but he decides to make this night worth it. It does not help he recalls a lot of things in the past few weeks. Especially Annie's letters as of late. He could almost make out a playfulness that made his wish a lot more fun. Difficult and tasting the waters, like she wished to drip her or another's blood onto his lips. He was not a man that was sick in the head but the way she had made those things sound. He could almost want for a little bit more, to savour it as she smirked at him. For a moment he wondered what the play was on her end. She was different, but try as he might. It seemed considering her Anne was a mistake. Those pills had hid something, and he wondered if he had done right by her as he could have. Perhaps something she had always been, but now he had come to know how different she was. It had kept him up at night. Later than usual and usually needing some sort of reprieve from those letters. They were difficult to place, to understand, and then even further to know how she seemed to know him. It was different when she was Anne. It seemed that she had known things a lot wiser. Yet she wished to play with him. Like he was food for her, the thought was something that sent a deep drop of a stone in his gut as he wondered what that feeling was that came over him in that second. Instead, he was so lost in his thoughts of her. He had soon forgotten where he was. What was meant to happen, and yet he continued to worry that he had to be shaken out of those thoughts... "Logan." A voice so high class and soft that he would have wished to ignore it already. It felt difficult to place, to have a moment with, and he turned. His eyes found that the event was already in play. He was too much in his thoughts that he had forgotten so much. He should have allowed some things a breath of fresh air. "The councilman is almost here. Is your woman here?" Yes, that. He had forgotten to say that this event was something so incredibly different to what she was used to. Alas, he wondered if she would pick up on the memo. There was a dress code after all. "Farrington. Calm." Logan had grunted out as they now walked to the middle of this circus. Yes, Logan had needed the councilman, but what he didn't need were these thoughts. "Annie is different and possibly won't like that you have so much interest in knowing where she is. After all, she is my woman. Yes? Let us not play the game too much, hm?" Logan sighed out to himself, bowing his head, and decided to look back and forth. Farrington had met Logan's eyes before he seemed to be taken elsewhere. It was annoying when Farrington tried to grab his attention, but his eyes fell on a figure. One who only seemed to take all the attention from the entire lecherous men in the room. They were hers to command, as she seemed to just take a moment. For a second, Farrington saw it. He saw the look in Logan's eyes, and there was something in there that screamed primal, and it screamed of a bestial nature that scared everyone when he seemed to growl beneath his breath. It seemed his boss was not the one in charge and for another time, Farrington had to guess that this Anne was the one in charge...and his boss didn't even seem to know it. |

The excitement had be building the past week or two weeks, whatever it was really. Time seemed to move a bit quicker and the more time that lapsed, the more time the pills had to completely exit her system. It was freeing really, for so long now she had been a prisoner to that bottle, to those little white round prison guards. Caging her within herself... she hadn't even realized it until she was off of them. Her whole outlook on things, on life... the intricacies of everything around her was just so much more heightened than prior. How she even functioned and functioned on a high level on those things, was beyond her. It was a thought that truly went in and out of head in a matter of moments as she caught a glimpse of herself in the window of a passing store front. Halting her in her tracks. The woman in front of her was gorgeous, dressed to impress for sure. Her long black dress hugged every curve of her body, it covered all the right spots and showed off exactly what she wanted. Lifting her arms upwards, she shifted the way her chest sat within the fabric, making sure to show off a little bit of cleavage. It wasn't much, she wasn't as gifted as other in that area but made it work the best she could for her. "Damn, I look good." She did a little spin on that spot, doing a complete 360 until she was back facing that window. She was a bit bummed that she wasn't able to watch the entire process in the window. Instead she turned about, giving her a look at herself from the side. "Yup, you're gonna kill it tonight." She was about to turn back to window but heard a whistle and a howling, prompting her attentions in that direction. It was coming from a guy standing against a parked car nearby, his eyes wide open looking directly at her. "How much?" "Excuse me!" She watched as he reached down into his pocket and coming back up with a wad of cash. Anne smiled and walked towards his car, the money waving towards in the Detroit air. "It's all yours, come on... get in." She could feel his eyes basically undressing her right there. It was kind of creepy but that was a bit of money, it would go a long way this evening. "That's right, come to me!" He said in an even creepier tone. She had wondered if this tactic had actually ever worked for this guy? It must have, right? Some woman are rather desperate... "I've got a better idea." She said with a smirk. "How about you just give that me to and you go jerk it in your car, I'm sure it won't be the first time." She chuckled. The guy on the other hand, didn't find it too funny and reached towards her. It was almost as instincts took over, in one motion she sidestepped his reach and planted a forceful kick with her pointed heels right where it counted. She was pretty sure she had connected squarely, cause she had never seen someone drop as quick as he did. The money, plopping onto the city sidewalk. Truly it was comical to see. Him moaning and squirming on the ground. Nonchalantly, Annie picked up the scattered cash. "Fuck you bitch... I will find you..." Walking over to him, she knelt down in front of him. His hands occupied on his junk. "That was fun, thank you for the money." She gave him a smiled, stood up and started walking down the street... Counting the cash as she walked. Not once looking back to see if he had gotten up to follow her, there wasn't a worry in the world that she would ever see him again. Surely she wasn't going to be in Detroit long... just the evening, at least that's the notion she had. "One thousand, three hundred and fifty. Look at that creep having money like that." She giggled, wadded up the cash and went to put it in her bag. There was no bag, this whole time and she had forgotten to bring a purse... she knew she was forgetting something. "Well fuck me." She shrugged and tucked the cash in between her breasts, making sure to tuck it enough that it wouldn't be noticeable. Looking down, she noticed it but it was the best it was going to be. "Now where were we Annie?" She stopped to think, her mind sorting through the letters her and Logan had been passing lately. There is was... "Blackhawk" Looking about she didn't see it... continuing to walk, until she passed the next person. A woman walking with her kid. "Excuse me... Blackhawk restaurant, do you know where that is?" The woman stopped and legit pointed to the building across the street. Sure enough, there it was. "Ha! There it is, thanks." Instantly she hooked a left, not even looking to see if any cars were coming... they were, the sounds of brakes screeching filled the area. She paid no mind to it, just made a b-line to the restaurant. She should have known that was the place. There were people all about on the street in front of it, all well dressed. Truly none of them caught her attentions, at that point she was on a one tracked mind. She needed to see Logan, she needed to tell him about her recent encounter... She was sure he would find it funny. Pushing her way through the crowd and into the opened door, she made her way inside. "Logan! Anyone see Logan? LOGAN!!!!" Her voice got louder, basically silencing the crowd as they all looked towards her. It was about then that the bodies basically parted ways, exposing Logan standing there next to someone she had never seen before. It was a mute point though... cause there he was and he looked good in that suit... with that yellow tie, it accentuated his rough features. A big smile radiated onto her face, she skipped towards him, basically jumping into his arms. "There you are, I didn't think I was going to find out. This city is so big, I was walking about trying to find this place. Probably should have gotten the street address from you." She giggled and continued talking. "You'll never guess what happened on the way here, I stopped at this store front cause I saw myself in the window and..." "Anne!" She felt his hands softly place themselves on her cheeks, directing her attentions onto him in the moment. Basically stopping her train of thought. Her eyes connecting with his. "What? Oh did I do good?" She pulled herself out of his grasp, not too far away just enough that she was able to give him a look. Of course doing a slow spin in front of him, so he could see it all. |

For a moment. He was sure that the festival would have gone wrong when she had yelled, clamoured, and even rung a bell for him. It was different and difficult. Less inviting than he thought it could have been, but he hadn't been able to stop himself. He had rested his fingers on her face. Feeling how soft she was, how good she felt. Sometimes he wondered what thoughts were climbing into his head before he found himself not caring as she just stood there. A moment of quietness before he heard her tone. How she seemed to be proud of his stunned look. His tongue caught in his throat. His eyes lost, different, and soon his lips bridged together. A smirk on his lips before he caught again. His arms snapping around her waist as he caught her from behind. Soon, however, he knew, they were hardly alone. None had seen him like this. "I would say you did. I cannot show you too much appreciation, can I?" He cleared his throat. His eyes meeting hers. Locking in a dance as if they were dragons. As if their tails were intertwined, it was different; it was fun. It was fun. He enjoyed it when her head craned up. A smile on her lips, almost darker than usual when she only seemed to make Logan fall further. His eyes locked with hers. His eyes were dancing to her rhythm when he was stopped. A cleared throat. Farrington. "Sir. Perhaps you should stop playing. There are other matters without you being distracted." Farrington was good people, but couldn't he see he was having fun? What did the councilman matter? Then he saw where the councilman's eyes went. Of course. "Farrington. You've been with me...how long?" Logan made the effort to seem interested, at least. He couldn't be like the others who saw something close to a big check. Something needed to work. "A while now, sir. Yet, I beg for you to not let this distraction prove to be disastrous. You need the business here. After all, is this not why you wished to have something close to making money? Xavier always proves to be right if you let him." Farrington was right. Logan, however was...busy. His eyes wandered back to Anne's who seemed to just take a moment differently as the two were just in their own world. A game like it was something to be trivial with. Nothing important seemed to bother them. Even in the midst of it all, when his arms had snaked around her waist. Logan had finally let her go when she had stood there still. Back to him when she shrugged. "Hm." He finally said, letting a yawn loose. "Then what is needed?" Finally, the trio had begun walking around the Blackhawk and chiefs, politicans, councilman, and the like seemed to make up the dominant part of this entire event. Logan knew that the councilman had reach but this was different. It seemed to be like a cat with yarn that had let the ball roll a bit too much down the hill now. It wouldn't have been like this if Logan knew, but as he glanced back at Annie,. He found that he didn't care as much if he were honest. "You have Councilman Alex Trenton. He has his hands in all sorts of projects, but if you wish for him to move with Howlett Machinery. You will need something different. Something fun. This is it, we both know what." Farrington hadn't exactly made it subtle. His clear gaze on Annie had made Logan bring out something different as his trusted man seemed to try and make him trade someone who had only just gotten to know. Yet, it was that very look that made this even more different. "You are playing a joke, of course? Do you think I am going to let that thing do what he wants? I would skwer him before he even gets the chance." Logan hissed. His eyes darkening into a cloud of darkness when his fingers snapped out, resting on Annie's waist. He hadn't known what he did, but he only found himself with a careful smile. "Logan." Farrington had careful intuned. His voice a touch away from anger but this was something far different as one of his advisors seemed to give him a careful reproach here. "He is how you will make money. If he must, why not let him? Doesn't she know the role she will play here?" Farrington only found himself quickly hurt. His collarbone snapped and Logan's grip on his shoulder tighter than anything that would prove to hurt him worse. "Carefully, Arthur. I will give you a moment. Do not think yourself to be above me. Now. Tell me, what else would he like? Besides Annie." Logan had carefully rung out his voice with a snarl, letting him that wasn't an option before again... Logan had turned to her. A dark look in his gaze that screamed of something far more than just fun, but for a second, he simply felt a smile. An understanding that James seemed to hum at deep within their shared mind. |

It felt if all eyes were currently on her, as if everyone in the room was looking at her as a piece of meat. Normally Anne would have been appalled by the notion, the pills would have kept her closed off to all of it. As she would have found an out, someway to rid herself of the situation. Annie on the other hand, enjoyed all eyes on her. It was rather appealing to her, the eyes... the gestures... the whispering she could hear throughout the crowd. She had come in like a wrecking ball, there was nothing subtle to her entrance. Which was probably why she had come up as a bargaining chip for the councilman. It wasn't really something that she overheard them talking about, her mind in a world of it's own as she felt the presence of Logan wrapped around her. Dancing in place, a place where no music was currently playing as if they were in a world of their own for that moment. "Besides Annie." Now that was the line that she actually heard, pulling her back into reality. Slowly turning herself about, her form still grasped by Logan's strong arm. She said nothing in that moment, just smiled. There was something about the smile that was different. It was unlike any smile any facial gesture he had seen from her. Almost if she was a completely different person than the last time they met. It was his words, the simplicity of how he muttered "besides Annie" that caused her to smile as she did. It was different, she was different. For some reason, one that she couldn't explain the words felt like a sort of ownership towards her. Surprisingly, she liked it. Someone that never liked be an object to anyone, who was calculated with every move now melting within. "Besides me?" She asked while looking into his eyes. "What about me?" She watched as his eyes shifted towards Farrington, if looks could kill there would definitely be a dead councilman laying on the ground. Would probably have been bloody, messy. Lots of screaming, some yelling and whatever other joyous events would have proceeded it. There were so many possibilities, so may methods of death each one more glorious than the other. "What about me?" She asked in a softer tone, one more soothing. She watched as his eyes shifted back onto her. "Seems our friend here, wants me to use you as a bargaining chip." "Oh, so you say?" Her eyes shifted onto Farrington for a moment. It wasn't a sharp look, wasn't one that had death written on it but one that indicated she knew what he was implying. Her gazed went right back onto Logan, she leaned in towards him almost whispering at him. "Do you need me to do this? I can be the best bargaining chip you've ever had." Leaning back, he continued to keep his grip onto her. She could tell he was trying to process everything, having an internal battle with himself. "I'll do or be whoever you want tonight, I'm in your hands." The night had truly just begun and here she was putting her life, her evening in his possession. |

"She is willing..." "Shut. The. Fuck. Up!" Logan was bestial, in moments. His eyes darkened like a wolf as his eyes seemed to channel with rage that was hardly anything in the dim night of the evening that begged for a reprieve. "Logan." Farrington tried this time as his collarbone was still in Logan's hand and only then did Logan pick up her whisper. Like a whispered plea. Something that could easily calm the raging storm in his eyes. He tilted his head to the side before his eyes landed on Annie and then on the councilman who seemed to finally break away and look down at his wife. Typical. "Farrington. Another word and they'll be scraping you off of the kitchen walls with tweezers." His words whispered suddenly, rough. It was telling that the beast within only seemed to dare now carefully. Farrington seemed to sigh. Knowing that once Logan set his mind to something, things were different. It wouldn't do him well to play the antagonist before he thought up another idea. His eyes switched between councilmen as Logan seemed to take a breath. Taking Annie into his arms and bringing her flush against his chest for a second or two longer than normal. Yet, for a moment. Logan decided to know that this man was important to his business and everything he needed for this moment. He spun her about. His fingers going deep into her hair as he pressed his forehead to hers. He looked her deep in the eyes when she just muttered her words back to him. For a second, he wondered how far or long this moment would last. "If he does too much. Goes too far, let me-" Yet those words didn't seem to work. He found himself unable to deliver something so clear, so neccesary when his gaze landed past her again. "Wait. What did you mean by that?" He pontededly let his words flow. His words were decidedly rough as his fingers squeezed tighter around her face. So much like that night in Las Vegas where he had decided to just let her know he wasn't playing around with her. He knew those words and he didn't like them. No. They were meant for... He hissed. As if burned, his eyes closed, and he counted numbers, again. He couldn't even begin to help himself. It felt so different, so difficult. "You don't say those words. You're meant to be kept safe, what exactly do you even think he likes, hm?" Logan was growing even more protective, jealously hanging off of his every word when he found his face growing closer to hers if it were possible. They were sharing the same air at this point when they were interrupted. "Mister Howlett." Councilman Trenton had finally made his way over with his wife. Yet there was a wide berth between them both as Logan had hardly given the councilman his attention. He was focused for a while on Annie as she seemed to stare in response. The two, again, in their own world. "Trenton." Logan had grunted. He didn't even give the greedy man his gaze. Instead he had found himself unable to tear for a moment before he sighed out. His eyes closing as he enjoyed the moment. It was different, it was heated, it was his. Yes, that felt so amazing, the thrill that ran through his body as many had taken to wandering and dancing. Many only wished that they had the partner that Logan or even Annie had. "You wished to talk? Please. Who is your friend? Is she another of your...friends?" That felt so painfully like a jab before Trenton had hummed. Decidedly trying to take another step forward before Logan had let loose a hum. A warning. "Come now, Logan. Isn't it right she knows about Jean?" And that was the third as Logan tightened his grip on Annie before it seemed he would lose his cool... Annie had had words of her own. He only hoped that they were for the lecherous councilman. |

His grip got a bit more intense by the moment, seemed that every word the councilman uttered caused him to tense up. There must have been something with his tone, something with his demeanor that just didn't set well with him. At least that was her guess, truly she hadn't known the man more than the 15 seconds prior and really she didn't know the relationship him and Logan possessed but from her quick analysis... it wasn't the greatest. With a soft giggle, Annie muttered the name "Jean" in between her giggles. Really she had the slightest idea about Jean, sure she had heard things but unless those words actually came from the source... that's all they were, were words. Easily twisted, easily manipulated over time so it had all been taken with a grain of salt. One thing she did know, there was no way in hell this councilman was gonna come in here and start throwing dirt around without consequences. "I know all about Jean." She spoke without even looking in his direction, keeping her eyes locked onto Logan. "She was weak, she was just another stepping stone." She nodded softly towards Logan, acknowledging things were okay... it was time to calm down. "Trenton is it?" Her held finally tilting towards him, her eyes filled with mischievousness. "Who is your friend over there?" Knowing all too well it was his wife standing next to him. "Friend? This is my wife!" "Oh" She directed her gaze back onto Logan, who was still looking directly at her. His fire was still burning hot, for her perhaps... against the councilman probably but just in general... that fire was always there, waiting for that dose of gasoline to further ignite it. Leaning in once more towards him, she stood on her tip toes. Her heels just barely coming off the floor, just to get a bit closer to him, whispering into his ear. "You'd think a councilman with his status would have found a better looking wife, poor guy... it's probably why he is so angry. Why don't we put on a happy face, get through this and then get out of here." Lowering herself, her heels touching back onto the floor. Logan's grasp loosened slowly, his palm softly resting upon her cheek. She wasn't sure if he would be able to play along but at least in the moment she knew his flame had subsided some. "Of course this is your lovely wife, I'm just playing with you. Obviously I could tell it was your wife. It's nice to meet you." Annie extended her hand towards the woman a gesture that wasn't reciprocated. "Really? Fuck you then!" The woman showed no emotion, just turned towards her husband... the councilman. Which in itself pissed Annie off even more. "Seems you know how to pick them, Logan. This one seems right up your alley." Closing her eyes, Annie counted slowly to herself. Taking a deep breath with each count. "One...deep breath, Two...deep breath, Three...deep breath." This was important to Logan, this was no time to lose her cool. "Four...deep breath, Five...deep breath." Opening her eyes, glaring quite evil like are the Trenton's. Annie turned to Logan... "I need a drink, I will be back." Turning about, she took no more than two steps towards the bar when she felt the strong grasp of Logan's hand upon her wrist. Basically turning her back around towards him. "What?" She hadn't meant to be snippy but that encounter was still making her blood boil. "You're stunning." He said with a growl. "I know!" She gave him a smile, trying to pull away from him but he didn't let go. She watched as his eyes moved up and down, side to side. Was as if he was checking out every single inch of her. "I'll be back, just gonna go get us a few drinks. Go talk to that councilman and his ugly wife." With a nod he reluctantly let go of her wrist. "Don't be too long." "I won't be, I promise." She kissed her hand and blew it in his direction. Turned about and went to seek out the bar. |

He watched the sway of her dress, the way her legs left with steps that he wished to follow along with as his eyes had rested on her hips for a momnet before turning away. His eyes heavy and his lips set in a fine cautious smile. Yet so lost. He hardly caught the growing annoyance of Trenton; his eyes had turnt flinty. Not that Logan had even caught that. "Hm. You would think you would like them, I don't know, less exotic." There he was. Trenton was a piece of shit, but his wife, of course, was as bitchy as her husband. It made things less fun. "Do you even know what you've got there? You're busy fawning over her, we could just about see the drool tumbling from your lips." Logan didn't so much as twitch. He adjusted himself, rolled his eyes and glanced up at the ceiling. "Trenton. We're here to talk busy, aren't we? Why discuss her?" Logan had finally tilted his head to the side as he continued to watch the ceiling before his eyes, fell back on where Annie had stood. He missed her. That felt...odd. Of course that imagery, that kiss was a different thing entirely. "Because everything you touch turns to ruin. You want my support, but I know what you are. A good for nothing fuck who wishes he was legitimate. You even cling to these suits like you have a sense of honor." It didn't sting, much. So quick, of course. Logan didn't turn around, he tilted his head as if making sure he could still see that dress. It was rather pretty, different, lovely even. He almost how it looked a little off the sho- "Are you even paying attention, or has your mind decided to wander like always?" There, that's when Logan finally gave him a little bit of attention. He so dearly needed it. Honestly, it was a bit disgusting. Logan cleared his throat and dreadfully removed his gaze. His eyes not so much lost on the scene but careful as he turned away for a second. He stood a bit taller, a lot more bulkier and dangerous than the councilman but he would need to give him a humble lesson. "You know what I want. You know what I can offer. My lady, on the other hand, is not. I would stab you in your gut and let them fall out onto the floor before you even touch her." Logan was a touched more different, his more pronounced features, his animalistic growl coming through when he ever so slightly seemed to roll his shoulders. Preparation. "Yours, is she? She blows you a kiss, tells you all sweet things and you're a puppy? Please. You need me. You want me to be your man to give you the ports, the cash, and the power that this city holds. You need it more than you need some oriental , don't tell me you've growned fascinated with a plain thing like that?" The councilman is tiresome, Logan knows. He can feel James begging to let him take control of this. Of course he wished too, but James was different. He was subdued, a lot more than Logan was. It didn't help that Logan was the first, the host. He didn't need to be dragged or pushed to the second seat in this car. It was different, but this man had just pushed and prodded into something he didn't understand. That is when Logan stepped closer. His words are just a touch less meaningful. They were filled with the meaning that spoke of blood and pleasure for the wolf of Las Vegas. "Trenton. Let me give you a fair bit of advice. I have ties all over. This, well, it's a courtesy. A great deal of understanding rests here. If you want, than we make it work. If not, I will take you out back and slice your neck into four pieces that make it look like an accordion. So please, what is it you want to do? Do remember, she's mine!" Logan looked deep into the politician's eyes, who could only seemed to gulp down his nervousness as he traded a look with Farrington. The two soon went off, discussing their own business as Logan had enough. He wasn't going to wait her. He rushed off, towards the bar, trying to find her as his hair grew unruly and settled into a fringe over his brows. Settling like the shadow of a large crown over a part of his eye. He looked very different but his eyes had caught her figure and rushed out towards her. Snapping his arms around her, his jaw burying into her neck as he stared into her eyes swaying back and fort like an intimate dance that he'd only wished for her. "Sorry. There was only so much I could take and I would rather stay here. So...what are you drinking or would you prefer I taste it from you?" His words set something off in his stomach—a deep rumble like the pride of an animal—before he smirked. His brow rose slightly as he shook himself with a hum. Yet he waited, stuck in that gaze with her. |

There was a certain gait to her walk as she strutted towards the direction she thought the bar should have been, really it was the only way to walk in this dress.... walk comfortably that was. She could feel the looks and the glares upon her, she was different than anyone else in this place. In fact, one would probably think she was a part of the triad faction... a dying breed in Detroit. A group that rarely showed their faces anymore, so her being at a gathering like this, wasn't looked kindly on. Truly it didn't bother her all too much, at least for the moment. She had a one tracked mind in the moment, find that bar and get something strong in her system... something to subside the boiling blood within her. "That woman, fucking bitch." She muttered to herself as she walked. "She's lucky we are here." Her eyes glared down towards the floor. Stopping in her tracks, continuing to look downwards, she took another series of breaths. *One....deep breath, Two....deep breath, Three....deep breath.* "Drink Annie... lets get a drink." She muttered to herself, nodding to the response. Her eyes shifted back up, giving the place a bit of a scan until they locked onto the bar. Paying no attentions to the glaring eyes of the nearby folks, whom had just witnessed her talking to herself. "There it is!" The voice inside her head spoke up. A smirk formed upon her face, as she took a few long strides in the bars direction. Within seconds she was elbows on the bar, leaned over with her arms crossed. The guy manning the bar, gave her a side eye with a nod. Acknowledging her presence as he finished up with another patron. Taking another deep breath in, though not counting this time around, she waited the 20 seconds for him to finish. "Evening! What can I get you? Wine? Champagne?" "No way, those aren't strong enough. What do you have that's strong?" She spoke with a bit of an attitude. "Whiskey?" "Yeah that'll work. I need two, don't be stingy... oh and I'll take a shot of that." She pointed towards a clear bottle on the shelf behind him, not really knowing what it was just thought the label was fun enough it deserved a taste. She watched as the barkeeper pulled a few glasses from underneath the counter, took a few scoops of ice put it in the glasses and poured the amber liquid over the top of it. He then went towards the bottle she pointed to, found a shot glass and poured it to the top, sliding it over to her once placed the bottle down. "Having fun?" He asked. Annie rolled her eyes and said nothing. Instead just pulled the shot glass off the bar and threw it down without hesitation. It was strong... burned most of the way down. It must have been on her face, the reaction to the booze... the barkeep made another comment. "It's strong... moonshine, you're the only one to ask for it up to this point." He smirked. She slide the shot glass towards him. "I'll take another." There was a bit of hesitation on his part, he knew the ramifications of moonshine. It hit hard... it hit fast. She could see his hesitation... pushing herself off the bar top, she pulled out the wad of cash that she had nuzzled in between her breasts. Took out a fifty and slid it over to him then tucked the rest back where it resided. It was an opened bar, so there was no need to pay for anything but she knew the tip would go a long way. He poured another shot and didn't give her the option for another, as he placed the bottle back onto the shelf before she had even picked up the bottle again. "Best to let those two set in first, I've seen bigger people... guys not be able to walk out of here after two of those. If you need anything else, just flag me down." He grabbed the cash off the bar and tucked it into his pocket. "Thank you, by the way... I appreciate it." With that he walked off to tend to others, leaving her by herself with the two drinks in front of her. Knowing it was just going to be a matter of time until Logan was by her side. Yeah she told him that she'd be back but knew he was going to come find her. Her notion was correct, as moments later she felt the strong grasp around her waist, followed by the nuzzling of his chin into her neck. "Sorry. There was only so much I could take and I would rather stay here. So...what are you drinking or would you prefer I taste it from you?" "Whiskey.... and apparently moonshine." She had yet to take the second shot... all three drinks sat in front of her. Sliding a whiskey over and then the shot... reluctantly... to her left. "Oh, you got me one." He loosened his grip, giving her the ability to turn about, placing her elbows back onto the bar. "Of course, I knew you were going to come find me." "Oh did you?" He smirked at her... she smirked back looking up at him. "There's only so much a person can take when talking to an individual such as that." She paused. "Well a person such as yourself, I couldn't stomach them... all I could think was grabbing a fork off the table and jamming it in that bitches eye." She smiled a malicious smile, as she pictured the councilman's wife screaming... blood running down her face with a fork sticking out of her eye. The comment made Logan chuckle twice, he clearly understood the sediment behind it. She watched as his eyes shifted towards the drinks but quickly onto her, looking her up and down... He noticed the wad of cash, she didn't tuck it in far enough. "You might want to hide that money a bit better, unless you want me to reach in there and grab it." He said with a growl. "You know you didn't need to bring anything except yourself." "I know... I didn't. I..." She was interrupted by that voice once again, she couldn't see him as Logan's form completely blocked him out... it was Trenton. "Logan" Persistent fucker he was, there must have been something he truly needed from Logan. Either that or he was infatuated with Annie herself... either way something was playing in his head. "What do you want now, can't you see I'm busy!" He said with a snarl. "I know we started off the night a bit rough but I wanted to introduce you to my brother... he was running a bit late, was hoping our initial contact was with all of us but nonetheless we are all here now." Logan and Annie, just glared into each others guys for a second... she nodded, knowing he needed to field this. She turned back towards the bar, just as he turned towards Trenton and his brother. His form still shielding Annie... If you were looking towards them, you'd know she was there just from a few slivers of her dress showing. "This is my brother Vincent, he is an integral part in my operations... my main go through." "Sorry I'm late... had a run in with some crazy bitch, took me off guard... mugged me... man if I find her, the things I would do to her." He said jokingly hoping to break some of the tension. He was the comedic type, tried to swoon people with laughter... only if he knew Logan, it wasn't going to work. "What's this all about?" Logan grumbled. "Business!" Trenton stated. "You need me... you need us... the question is, what's in it for us?" Trenton looked over his shoulder, making sure his wife wasn't in earshot. "I tell you what, you let me have a go at exotic you brought... let us..." His eyes shifted towards his brother... both oblivious he was shielding Annie. |

There were things that didn't fly for Logan. He was a man of action, honestly, he had to foster the idea that he was anything but. Yet, Trenton seemed to just shift himself from side to side. Not understanding that he was becoming a nuisance. A complete annoyance that bordered on the obsessive and that was Logan's. He wouldn't come into his house and have fun with his wife, now, would he? Here he was trying to touch what was his. "You." His voice rumbled low and for a second. Everyone could recall his fierce reputation. What earned him the trail of blood that circled the world two times over. "You don't give up, do you?" His brother. This guy—he wasn't anything special and that's when Logan took a step forward. Yet, a moment, he couldn't help himself. His eyes were a lot more lost than anything he had come to suffer these past few moments. "Why should we?" It was the tone. The superiority and understanding that Trenton hadn't even got it into his head, yet. He was trying and Logan wasn't going to be nice. James clamoured from his seat in the car of their body. He could almost feel the shift, the need to accept the bargain. James didn't care for Anne or Annie. They were different, difficult, and albeit dreadful. Logan did. He cared. He fought. They were his. He had seen and recalled that look on her face. When she seemed so human. Swept up in the fun that they were of each other, where he had gotten so close that he wanted a single taste. Perhaps he was a fool for falling for the manipulator. She knew his moves, his every action and he wouldn't let this get in the way. Why should? "Because I ask—eh, no. I told you. Why don't you understand the way this works? I'm the one with ties in another world. What can you and your number two really do to me?" Logan stepped closer and this time, he realised that he was taller than both of them. His blue eyes became stormy, not a sign of conflict behind them. It was pure readiness. If they wanted to play with him. If they wanted to make him give her up, they would have a bad time of it. "The companies, the legislation, the police presence, and the greatest understanding that you are nothing to the almighty world of politics, Logan. Your dear Xavier knew how the game worked." This time, Trenton stepped forward, and his brother looked over at the exotic skin of Annie. They were entranced. Of course, Logan had heard it. The sharp intake of breath. Almost like recognition before he growled. His lips snarled back like a wolf's, baring his teeth when he bit down on the anticipation, the need to slaughter them and string them up like party decorations. "Xavier was a fool. Who didn't know the value of people and who didn't know that he had more efforts to keep a duo or group together than they ever were apart? Now, Alex. You forget that I am the one who called this meeting. I have people. Do you really think I need you?" Logan growled, finally. It wasn't a beg, it wasn't a plea, it was a warning. The final one before Trenton swaggered forward, reaching into his inner coat pocket and pulling out a baggie of Coke. Waving it in front of Logan's face, who was more than unimpressed. What sort of shit was that? "What are you doing?" His voice was filled with wrath. Something that he had caught Farrington's worry when the gather politicians, influences, and police chiefs seemed to be none the wiser when Logan had shook his head. Not yet. "Making an understanding. You want to sit there and act like you're better than me but I know you. The whore right there on your arm is nothing more than a passing fancy when she finds out that you're nothing more than an obsessive drunk who can't help but blame everyone else for your failings when things get real. There's a reason you need me, Logan, because I know everything. I'm the one who granted you Howlett Machinery. I'm the one who knows about your little problems in that head of yours. Now? What do I ask in return? For years of service?" Explosive. It was a word that could be used to describe anything and everything, but Logan didn't understand until James had let him. It flooded back into him. A moment where he saw himself just sitting across from Xavier and Alex, each of them wondering how they could best help him. It was annoying to remember how much James had done without him. How much Jean had broken him, it was heartbreaking. Yet he wasn't broken. His lips curled up, deep. His eyes glistened, a sharp tinge like thunder in the sky, before he shook his head. A chuckle when he felt the softest little nudge at his fingers. Annie. "You can't. Who the fuck do you think you are? No one touches my girl." Fuck. He heard it—the thrill that went into his eyes—he didn't care. They needed to know that Annie wasn't going anywhere with them at least. "Look." Now, his brother started talking but in his time, the brother had switched, going from left to right as his fingers slipped into the waistband of his slacks. "Your bitch needs to learn how to party." Logan didn't even give him a glance, instead he felt how quickly he had backed up slightly. Guarding Annie, if they got anymore closer... Farrington knew what to do. "So," with the quickest of flicks. A switchblade was in the brother's fingers when Logan shook his head. It was a quick but efficient look. Logan caught his gaze and snapped. Farrington had quickly alerted everyone. "....Ladies and Gentlemen, if it please you, may you all join me in the private dining area. We will be hosting a choir there where all of you are expected to be regaled and enjoy the greatest of musical pieces." Little by little, soon, the entire restaurant area was clear except for Annie, Logan, Alex Trenton, Vincent, and Rochelle Dubois, Alex's ugly wife, as Anne had said. Logan had once again shook his head before Vincent had finally caught Anne's figure. "You!" He spat. His fingers pointed accusatorily at her when he stepped forward, too close. It was quick this time when the brother's entire hand was snapped! Bone sticking out, and his cries were only muffled by how Logan cradled him into his shoulder. Silencing him with little shushes as Alex tried to back away now only to trip and fall. "Don't. Let me guess, you know her?" Logan smirked as he pulled the slobbering mess, Vincent, away from his shoulder. His head tilted from left to right. "Did you hurt her?" "Please, as if he could. He did try holler at me; he thought I was easy. He thought I was like his wife, in need of validation." Anne had tip-toed closer, leaning close to Logan's ear when her glare sharpened landing on Rochelle. "Hm." It was all Logan did before he had quickly and simply stabbed Vincent five times. The squelching didn't stop as Logan's suit was already starting to grow ruined. Hm, how difficult to wash out but it'd be fine. Vincent crumpled to the ground as Logan hadn't stopped there, with quickness, he'd sliced his neck clean. Five times that Logan's face grew stained with blood. It was a crimson mess that even made the floors of the Blackhawk slippery yet like the beast he was; Logan adjusted. He had locked eyes with Alex and his wife, Rochelle. His face was like a demon's when his eyes seemed to gleam with his stained face before he turned to Annie, his fingers curling around her face before giving her a light tap on her butt. "Your turn...have at it." Before he let his stained, bloody fingers run along beneath her cheek. Staining her just as he was. |

It was like a shark in a feeding frenzy when blood entered the water system. Her head turned quick, eyes narrowed, piercing sharply towards the wife. "Hi, it's me again." She placed her hand on her own chest. "Annie... you remember, right?" She spoke to her in a soft tone, smiling at the wife. If the situation would have been different, it would have come off as sweet and innocent. With Vincent laying dead on the floor, his blood creating a thick pool around him, the edge of it creeping up to the tip of her heels. "Please! Don't" Alex chimed in, taking a step in front of his wife. "Don't what? I'm just trying to introduce myself, isn't that the polite thing to do?" She turned her head towards Logan, whom was standing there with a grin on his blood splattered face. "Right?" Logan gave her a nod. "See, exactly... so if you would, I would love to formally meet this woman that shares your last name." Alex didn't move but pleaded once more. "Please, I beg of you. I will do whatever you two want." He knew the shit storm he had opened up, it was just a matter of time. You can only poke the bear so many times before it's had enough and just bites your head off. Once you get to that point, it's basically impossible to revert back to normalcy. Taking a step back her hip brushed against Logan's side. She didn't even need to look over to him, knowing all too well that he was already locked looking down on her. "The councilman is kind of being a turd, would you be lovely and escort him somewhere else." She pointed to the left. "Like over there." She pointed to the right. "Or over there." Then pointed down towards the body of his brother. "That'll even work too." "No... no no. Okay, okay...." Alex took a few steps to his right, barely exposing his wife. "Just don't hurt us, I didn't mean anything by it... you know it was all a joke... right Logan..." She could feel the clinching of his fist as his arm rested behind her. It wasn't time for him to release his inner demons... his inner dragon... that flame needed to stay contained, at least for the time being. Raising her left arm behind him, she ran her fingers down his spine. It was a light touch, was hard to get through the suit he was wearing but he felt it nonetheless... comforting him in that moment. "I would just like to have a conversation with her, is that too much to ask for? Woman to woman." Her eyes shifted from Alex back onto her. She was terrified, her face said it all. Her eyes blotchy and red, face pale as if all the blood within had drained out of it. Then again it could have just been her complexion... pasty white bitch... Annie lowered her arm back to her side and took a step forward, Logan made sure to give her another tap on her butt. This time a bit harder than the last one. Extending her hand outward, her eyes once again locked onto the wife. "Again, I'm Annie." She watched as the wife looked at Alex... looked at Logan.. looked at her and then back to Alex. "See this is where you extend you hand and meet mine, I'm surprised someone with your stature hasn't learned a simple gesture like this. Who raised you?" Annie sighed. From the corner of her eyes, she could see Alex giving his wife a simple nod. Basically giving her the okay to reciprocate the hand shake. The wife hand, unsteadily meeting Annie's. "Ro... Rochelle..." "Oh Rochelle, now that's a fancy name." Annie repeated the name a few times, emphasizing R as she said it. "That's fun." Her hand still locked with the Rochelle, innocently smiling as she kept saying her name. "I'm not a part of this... can I please leave, I swear I won't" Annie raised her hand, pointed her finger out and pushed it onto the woman's lips. Hushing her up immediately. "See this is where you're wrong my dear... you're right in the middle of this. I'm sure you know very well who your husband is and what he's done and what he's capable of. I wouldn't be surprised if you helped." Annie watched as her eyes shifted over to Alex's, almost as if she had been figured out already. When in fact it was just a tactic she used to see how much she actually knew. "Oh... so I hit the nail on the head there." With her hand still wrapped around Rochelle's, Annie craned her neck towards Logan. "You weren't really gonna feed me to these people, right?" "Me, never... Though you did offer but no... it was never an option, you're mine!" He was right, she did offer to take one for the team. It was a notion that he quickly shot down. Truly she knew what his response was gonna be, she just wanted to actually hear it from him. It had more meaning when it came from his breath. Shooting a smile in his direction, she quickly turned her head back to Rochelle, pulling her forcefully into her. Letting go of her hand, Annie placed her right hand on the small of her back. Sure she wasn't a looker but she was rather fit. Put her nose onto Rochelle's nose. Alex tried to intervene but was quickly brushed aside by Logan. Pushed him hard enough that he lost traction in the pool of blood on the floor and wound up ass down in his own brothers blood. "I'm going to hurt you now, there's no need to fight and scream because it isn't going to get you anywhere. If you're good... maybe you'll make it out of here." Annie gave her a quick peck on the lips, Rochelle pulled back turning herself around and out of Annie's grasp. Annie did the only thing she could think of in the moment... Reaching up with her right arm, she grabbed the long brown locks of her hair and tugged down immediately pulling the woman to the ground. Right on the other side of Alex's brother, in the same pool of blood, instantly staining the baby blue dress she was wearing. "This is not being good." Annie dragged her out of the pool, making sure to grab the nearest utensil she could... A fork... Go figure... Rochelle kicked and screamed. There was no way the people in the other room didn't hear them or they were going to hear them if she kept it up. There was only one thing to do... shut the bitch up. In one motion, she gave her a swift kick to the side of the head, her heel catching her right in the jaw. Dazed, Annie got down and straddled her. Her thighs crossed over her midsection. Annie took the fork and ran it across the woman's face... the prongs making their way down her neck. Stopping right over the main artery. "We could have been best friends, such a waste." Annie pushed the prongs downwards, she was half expecting them to slide right in. They didn't... it was a fork, not a knife. "Push harder" The strong voice echoed from behind her. She pushed harder... Rochelle started to get out of her daze and realized what was happening. Annie clenched her thighs down onto her, lifted the fork up and violently jammed it down. The four prongs went in rather easy this time around. Rochelle screamed... Annie was quick to cover her mouth with her hand, not the brightest of choices as Rochelle took the opportunity to bite it. It set off an instant bout of rage.... She went black... Pulled the fork out of her neck and repeatedly jabbed the woman in the face. It was a countless amount of times. It had to be a few minutes later when the blackness faded and she came back too. She was still straddling Rochelle, who was now lifeless in a pool of her own blood. The fork, sticking straight out of her left eye socket. Logan didn't intervene... Just stood there with a grin on his face, making sure Alex didn't interrupt. "Oh, Rochelle... I'm sorry, we could have been friends. Those pearls are gorgeous though, how did I not notice them prior." Annie leaned down and unclasped them from around her neck. Giving Rochelle a peck on the lips before pushing herself up. They were red with blood but that made them even prettier... Calmly she made her way back over to Logan, who had this look in his eyes. It was a look that she knew, he was in awe... he was burning for her. "Could you?" She placed the pearls in his hand, turned about so her back was facing him and brushed the hair off the back of her neck. |

Sometimes shit just doesn't sit right. Violence, carnage—they're all part of a life. Murders too. Shit like this, well, it wasn't business. Logan knew that when he stepped closer. His heart didn't thump erratically. Unlike with anything that had caused him to hate the things that go bump in the night. He had come to a less than stellar understanding with clean-up. It's why he had let his eyes sweep over to the kitchen crew, who had steadily rolled themselves in. High-grade cleaning supplies along with oil drums. They hadn't said a word; instead, they gave the two a careful look as the floor was already starting to look sparkly clean. Logan, however, had stepped as close as he could. Not a space or two between them as the crimson pearl necklace was clutched tight inbetween his fingers. His head went low, watching how she just seemed to give him a moment as he breathed low. His head shook before he seemed to take a breath to himself. His eyes lost for a moment before he just essentially clasped the pearl around her neck. A moment passed, a second before he spun her around. He was stunned. His eyes locked on hers. His fingers already softly went up her face. Her soft cheeks, her bloody face, her pure relief and excitement at what she'd done as he let himself rest. His fingers tightened, going deep into her hair. As he had to admit, she looked better with stained, bloody hair. It was a look he enjoyed before his lips hovered over her own and his breaths were hard, fast, and needful. Like gusts of wind that wouldn't have taken anything else until the most horrid of wails had come from another. His eyes closed before he felt it. Fingers intertwined with his own before he didn't let his gaze lock back with hers. Instead, he found his eyes on Trenton. The man had never looked so lost, as the room looked spotless besides Logan. He was different. He looked like a mess. His clothes stained with with blood when he had torn off his clothes. Leaving himself in an untucked tank top, body bulging, and eyes left with darkness as he quickly wiped his face down. Grabbing some sanitizer as he had dipped his hands easily. It looked like he had experience with this, too much. "Alex." The first word that he had said. Fuck, it felt so different but he didn't like that; he had to leave this man, he wanted to spend the night...with her. He was sure they could find something. Oh. Now he understand all the excitement he had missed, but Alex, he looked lost, traumatized. Like he couldn't believe what they had done to his brother and wife. They were nothing, of course. Specks in the long-run. It was Trenton they had to be careful about. "What am I going to do with you, hm?" It was the fact that things looked different—so different, so much better. His eyes were left with such a devoid of violence that he seemed like he was completely normal. "F-Free me! Nothing's wrong anymore. What do you want? The ports!? The business!? I'll give you whatever you need! Just let...Please man!" He begged. They fell but just as he would have tried to step forward, Annie tugged him back. Ths time, she was the one that seemed to smile up at him. Her mere look had sent something into his head. He felt so much more lighter. Like her look had set something off in him as he chuckled, lightly. "Your arrest would be good." Logan hissed out, his eyes never Annie's face when she had let her teeth just spit, and her smile was infectious when Logan had brought her closer. His arm snapping her closer. Logan had enjoyed that. The way he could focus on her and seem like everything was right. In truth, it was, he hadn't ever felt this different. Jean was that, once upon a time before he finally chuckled again. His lips hovered again, for a second; they just shared that air. It was fun. He promised her that. "Logan. Anything else? I could give you so much more. I have friends. Powerful friends. This could be something that you forget. It doesn't have to be a terrible memory. Just remember this. I'm worth more to you as a friend than an enemy." Trenton was not wrong. He did have powerful friends. He had Xavier. The man that had caused this all. Of course, if it wasn't for that, he wouldn't be here. He would never have had this fun. This moment where he could just be himself. Where nothing else but this mattered. "You're right." Logan didn't surprise himself there. He knew how much Trenton mattered; it's why he had reluctantly let go of Anne and straightened him up. "This isn't how we do things." Logan had directed Trenton elsewhere, as he had made sure to give Annie a look. Keeping his gaze on her as he brought her into his embrace. The way he had made sure that she hadn't even been hurt but soon, they had gone to another section. A balcony of sorts that the air was cool when Trenton seemed to breathe deeply. Taking a moment for himself. Logan found himself rather uncomfortable in nothing but his tank top and slacks. The way he had focused again had found himself turned to Annie as for a second. Everything was normal and everything seemed okay. Trenton came to an understanding, a few moments of peace before he would be taken away. He wouldn't live for the end of this night, unfortunately; things weren't so easily swept beneath a carpet in Detroit. They had nothing here. Sure, they held some moderate influence, but this would be handled by one of Logan's newest supporters. This entire night had gone the way it needed to, at least. "Annie." He called out, feeling her next to him. This was different than everything he had imagined, everything he had thought. It certainly felt like things were going to come together as and when he needed it to be brought together. He turned to her again, his eyes hardly focused on Trenton before he rolled his eyes. Approaching Alex who turned to face the duo with a cautious but gracious smile before Logan quickly snapped his fingers around Alex's neck and held him over the balcony before with simple ease... Annie had only leaned closer. Leaning closer to Logan's ear as he shivered when he was sure that he had felt a nibble at his earlobe. Something that seemed to just push him further when the wolf was sure he had heard her. She wanted him to kill Alex and that's what he did. The body was flung over the balcony as it would be left for his police officers to find. Business would be saved in the end. "Look what you've done Logie." Her voice didn't grate on his nerves. It sent a chuckle through him before she joined him. A moment passed before she hummed. "Now what are we going to do for the night?" It had taken seconds. He had snapped around. His eyes were left to follow Annie's. The way she was in control before he brought her back. It was the moment he waited for, the moment that he wanted. His eyes completely lost in hers; it was just them, finally. The moment he had waited for all night when his fingers had squeezed her face. Climbing deep into her hair. His eyes weren't even lost. He needed this more than anything. He wanted this more than anything. This entire time with Annie. His voice didn't fail him but nothing seemed perfect for this moment. Nothing seemed right, but for this moment here. His forehead rested against hers and for another moment. They shared breath. Everything seemed right. Correct, even. "Should I feel jealous that thing got a peck before me?" Logan's voice, while amused, was filled with something like jealousy as his fingers continued to go deeper into her hair, and it didn't seem like he was going to stop until he sighed between them both. "What am I going to do with you, Annie?" He leaned forward, bumping his forehead against hers and this time. He closed his eyes. Letting the moment wash over him. It was calm, tranquil, and perfect. "Just how much fun could we have with one another?" Even as he let his other hand squeeze her tighter, he had let one go free. Going low as he grinned. His eyes were a lot more amused than before when his hand pinched her waist and then rested low on Annie's rear. His lips were a terrible thing, smirking away when he recalled some words in his mind before he buried them deep... They didn't matter right now. |
