Bricks needed to wind down. busting dozens of prisoners was wearing him down. he dropped by the park and rented a fishing pole. he approached the banks abd cast his first reel. he waited 20 minutes then reeled it in putting more bait on. He cast again and waited. it was relaxing even though he wasn't getting a bite. "Christmas Malone you could put a sub sandwich on that and still wouldn't get a bite" Malone recognized the voice and whipped around to see a stalks man with more wrinkles a,pair of glasses and white hair on both sides of his head. "Sam? how the-.." Bricks stammered "SA told me to go during the gunfire in fact the son of a bitch pushed me out the window. I saw two men storm in and open fired I ran faster than I ever have before." Bricks looked down "we were supposed to be gunned down so he would escape not other way around" Sam pulled out a cigarette offering Bricks one. "there ain't a day gone by that I haven't thought that" "what you doin these days?" Malone told him about joining The Back Seat Drivers and becoming a hand. "nice nice" Sam mutters "think I'm too old for this life anymore" Malone puts his hand on Sam's shoulder "come on..join me..show my boys what Iceman Sam is all about" Sam looks at Bricks ",really? ya made an old man proud kid. I'll do it" the two got up abd head to HQ. There was work to do |

The cool breeze brought a welcome relief from the blazing sunshine radiating down on Detroit. This rare phenomenon was most welcome, as for the last 4 drizzly days Tussy had been in full working mode and getting soaked. There wasn't a place away from his tailors in Los Angeles where he felt a decent coat could be acquired, so for now he had to make do with his old raggedy, trusted cover. The warmth that befell the city caused a rush in children running schemes outside, playing on the helter-skelters, daring one another to jump into the lake in the park, and generally running amuck. 'Such a nice day....I really ought to visit Lakeside.' he thought to himself. As he approached the park, the sound of merriment was deafening. Usually Tussy wasn't one for spending his off-time with others, however for inexplicable reasons today he didn't mind. 'I guess sometimes life is too good to worry about others.' he reasoned, and sauntered straight to the ducks. They were always his favourites. That and the geese. 'I wonder why they're also seem pleased to see me?' |

Jaded saw the Lakeside Park & Coffee Shop and stopped in her tracks. Taking hold of her water, she went directly for the lakeside. Finding a quiet spot away from anyone else that could be loitering this late at night, she stretched out her legs in front of her. Placing her hands behind her so she could lean back and watch the lake. |

Hiro found the park easy enough. "Coffee. Black. And a donut. Whatever's fresh." He paid and found a table near the lake. Sat down and let out a long breath. Day was done. Time to sit. |
