I was going to respond here but Madeline basically said everything I was going to say, so consider this my agreement that I don't think this is needed. |

+1 - while it doesn't happen often, this has the opportunity to get out of control without repercussion. Please either put back WS's for MIA's so we can track down the MIA killers.
Or at the very least can we get them to view as new accounts? IE: you can't view their profile until they're X minutes old, unless you created them? |

As much as I want to +1 this as well, it is kinda your fault for not paying enough attention to your MIA when the 60 seconds is up and ready to be shot. This is a mafia game. Expect things to get stolen from you. BUT I do like the idea that Zoom proposed. I'm okay with that:

I vote this is brought back as well where people can't see them for X amount of minutes.
Or just bring back W/S's all together. No reason not to have them Squishy. |

This is the mafia not "My Little Pony" stealing should be encouraged city rules were made by players and when the game changes for better or worse and one of those rules become invalid because of that the proper action would be to remove said rule not enact the game administrators to change everything to its previous state |

| Corsair, it’s not a matter of people not advocating for stealing. It’s a matter of checks and balances when it comes to peoples real money. | |

People should be more responsible with said real money! I only had a single MIA stolen and I'm more than happy it was because it'd be silly if I still managed to get it back for forgetting about it |

Yeahhhhh. So saying "be responsible with said real money" tells me not to spend money here anymore.
I already pulled the idea of spending money investing here thanks to other users. I'll stop buying credits thanks to the idiotic statement you just made.
The game will go on regardless, but anyone spending money should have the right to a small amount of protection. |

NF What you do is no concern of me MIA's are extremely protected if you've followed how they've changed across the past years do you expect people to even hold your pants and pockets now? its literally spend 1 credit to get +1 wackstat.... People should really stop demanding for this and that and look at things from a much broader and bigger picture |

Lol hold my pants and pockets now? You’re silly. The only reason people get away with stealing MIAs is because WSs don’t go out. There is no reason WSs shouldn’t be turned on for MIAs as it protects users money and the games income. I realize what it represents and I’ve probably played longer than you. You’re still missing the point that RL money is being used to purchase something and it’s being stolen. It’s the same as if I buy something in real life, you walk up and take it right from in front of me. Except the difference is I could kick your ass in real life. By not having WSs I have no idea who is stealing from me. So yes, the change needs made. |

It doesnt matter you have 5mins to take the shot before somone cancfind it. Take the shot in those 5mins that simple it you wait 30mins and its gone your fault! Pretty stright forward system people just need to take more care with RL money stop blaming others for thier mistakes.... grow up |

Once again, if you spend a credit to spawn an MIA you have EVERY opportunity to kill it before ANY OTHER PLAYER CAN EVEN SEE IT IN THE GAME that includes locals, online list, and ID scrolling. If you don't kill it in time, than it's your own fault. This is a game about risks. Otherwise it would be a game of swipe your credit card to get plus ones. I think most of us would like to avoid that scenario. |

That isn’t true. Holy fuck. I spawned an MIA a week or so ago and within two minutes it was dead. There was a half an hour conversation about this in #main. |

Obsidian - yes, you can view them via profile scrolling. Yes, it is on the person who spawns them to ensure they're around for the kill - however I am in agreement with the idea of reinstating WS's for these. Or simply making the profiles un-viewable until it's 30 minutes old(as it is with new accounts unless they join a family). |

It is 100% true, instead of the MIA it will show something like "This is a new MIA. It will be viewable in a few minutes." Once again, you have every opportunity to kill it during this time frame before ANYONE ELSE CAN SEE IT. "HOLY FUCK" :p |

Clears throat. I just spawned one for the hell of it. Waited all of 90 seconds and sent the link to a friend. Tell me how they gave me the name of my MIA if it's not viewable eh? :\ I believe it shows the message you're referring to for perhaps the first 60 seconds? Shrugs. I can't see the code, but someone being able to name my MIA in less than 2 minutes is enough proof for me that you're wrong Obsidian :P |

Interesting, last I checked MIA's become able to be killed after 60 seconds not 90. Regardless this still is not reason enough to put WS's for MIA's back in. Perhaps making MIA's not viewable by anyone other than the owner for 5 minutes after it's spawned would be a good compromise. |

Yes, they are able to be killed after 60 seconds. Say you spawn one and immediately have the overwhelming need to piss, or puke, or your kid comes running up and jumps on your lap, or your dog starts shitting on the floor... Really just imagine anything that could unexpectedly pull you away from your computer/device in the time-frame of 60 seconds that would, of course, have you back in 2-3 minutes optimally...and you sit back down and damn there goes that MIA. Idunno, I'm all for WS's going in for MIAs - I'm all for them not - but as you said, perhaps a 5 minute window would be more apt. (though I'd prefer 30 to be honest, just using the same base as new players there though really, no other reasoning behind that opinion) |

Spawning a Mia doesn't give you owner ship of the MIA it gives you a chance to pwn it and get a +1. Why not just hunt down the people stealing Mia's like you hunt down BG shooters...if you want it to stop happening take action...don't complain about not being able to catch them and ask for a feature to be put in to make your laziness go ignored |
