Hamilton returned to the candy store.  He looked around and ordered ten chick-o-sticks and a dime worth of sugar-babies and five packs of pez candies.  He asked was Dawn around but they said she was out of town.  Nodding he thanked the lady and paid for his purchase.   He returned to his car and drove home.  

Ron need to sate his sweet tooth and pops into the candy store.

Dawn talked to Keasey- and Uncle_Fester about the problem she had with her candy supplier raising his candy prices so high.  She told him she was doing good business with him and was very upset that because of it he raised his prices.  He raised them so high they would never make any profit because they didn’t want to raise the price of the candies on the community.

They asked for all the information on the supplier and told Dawn they would handle it.

Sure enough two days later Odessa escorted Mr. Russell into their small business office where Dawn was sitting. He was unusually polite and quickly apologized for trying to take advantage of such good customers.  He handed her a new invoice that was extremely lower than the last and in fact lower than any invoice they had received.  Not only was the invoice lower but he had his man bring in 4 cases of a new candy M&Ms totally free.  Dawn couldn’t wait to thank Keasey- and Uncle_Fester.  She knew what kind of persuasion they used for him to be so generous. 

Dawn added the new candy to the menu and place a big sign on the marquee.

This time, when Kafka walked through the doors of what he liked to call the paradise of sugar, he was dressed in as stereotypical an incognito outfit as one might imagine. A trenchcoat that looked out of place on such a pleasant day with the collars turned up, dark glasses to cover the look of sugar mania in his eyes and his hands in his pockets so he wasn't tempted to just grab every single item in the store.

"You got the stuff?" he asked the clerk in a gravelly voice.

"Sir?" the man asked in a confused tone.

"The stuff, man, the stuff. A couple pounds of the gold bears and the paydays. Oh, and throw in some of the red hots too."

Ennio had been thinking of the Detroit sweet shop for weeks.

He grabbed two sugar babies and sat at a table with shoredkafka, who seemed a regular in the shop, nodding his head at nearly everyone in the store.

Guessing this is not a place you are hussling for money. Everyone loves you here shoredkafka.

shoredkafka  looked very worried about the idea someone would cause harm to his favorite Detroit eatery.

Just saying, not thinking anyone wants to torch this place.

shoredkafka  began pointing his fork toward Ennio.

Not me, not me. He was going to add, who eats dessert with a fork, but he let it pass. No use risking injury.

Kafka decided he had to ignore Ennio's faux-threats to this heavenly place. Torch this place? Never! There some unsaid rules in this thing of theirs and leaving a candy store alone was one of those rules. He was sure of it.

But in the meantime, while he was waiting for the store employee to put together his mammoth order, he wandered around the store, occasionally asking to try a new type of candy. The employees were accommodating, knowing that if he liked something, he would buy pounds and pounds of the stuff. This, Kafka knew, was exactly how he'd like to spend an evening. Wine tasting? Cigar tasting? Scotch tasting? 

Pfft. Make him the just of a candy festival anyday.

Now there's a thought he mused as he continued to survey the store Maybe I could talk the mayor into organising one?

Ennio stood near a large oak in the East side park. He watched as shoredkafka directed a sea of volunteers on the Labor Day Sweetery. He liked the name and few blades of grass could be seen with all the children running around. How did he organize this so fast. It was a different grouping then he normally knew. Mostly around edgy men, this afternoon there were kids and moms. Kafka seemed to have no issue, talking and being so close to this sea of women.

Games, tasting, balloons, merry music and clowns filled the place. Color, laughs and sunny dresses. Kafka seemed to be everywhere, like an army commander. The man looked happy. Maybe this is how he'd spend his days of retirement.

Ennio walked away down the hill, pondering his own exit strategy. Sure wouldn't be candy, but all those sunny dresses sure made him think twice.

Dawn made sure she made the trip to the candy store to talk with Odessa about a Halloween event.  She wanted to make sure they ordered enough candy for the event. 

When she arrived the candy store was a little quiet with just a few customers.  Odessa was free so they went into the office to talk.  Odessa told Dawn that the M&Ms are so popular it’s hard to keep them stocked. Dawn really couldn’t understand why, they weren’t her favorite candy. She would have to put so many in her mouth to get really satisfied.

They decided to just make candy bags with an assortment of candies to give out to the children.  They would start about 5 pm to about 7pm.  They would set up a table right by the front door as not to have traffic through the store. They would also give out larger bags of candy for the costume contest.  They would have to think more on how to handle the contest because they didn’t want to offend any of the children. 

When they went back out front Dawn grabbed 2,  3 Musketeers Bars left a nickel on the counter and told Odessa she would see her next week.

As Dawn was leaving who else but Juanita sashayed into the candy store.  She gave her a hug and told her  girlie gurrrrrrlllllll we definitely have to do that one night.  Seriously Dawn thought it would be a night of fun and very interesting.  Dawn really liked @Jauanita's outlook on life and wished she had some of the sass she had.

Ciel furrowed his brows as he walked past The Candy Galore Store. 

"Another candy store?! Sebastian_Michaelis! We can't open our candy shop here it seems. There's too much competition!"

He opened the door to the shop and peeked inside. Then he entered. A lot of the candies they sold were made of peanuts and Ciel was allergic to those nuts. However, he grabbed packs of all kinds of candies and went to the counter.

"I want to buy these."

"Finn and the others can eat the peanut ones," he thought.

Sebsatian smiled "It certainly is nice to see you acting like a kid, once in a while. Yes, sir, buy as many as you want, but be sure to take these" he shows a strip of pills to Ciel_Phantomhive "as soon as you eat these candies, i'm sure you are aware of your allergy to nuts"

Indifference checked his blood sugar.  It was only 28.2 mmol/L.  He knew that his sugar was running low and he needed to make a stop somewhere.  He was just walking through the wasteland of Detroit and noted an old candy shop.  He walked through the smashed glass and over the bullet casings to see that the place was still functional.  

"Hi there, Dawn.  I'll take a snickers bar straight away.  What would you recommend that I can take with me that doesn't melt in my pocket?"

Walking into the store he grabbed gobs of candy and shoved them into each of his pockets until he was completely filled to the brim with nothing more than sweets. Taking a quick look around the place to make sure no one was watching, Nutmeg then placed a large coat over himself so that no one could tell that he was bursting at the seams with confectionery.

"Hey, so, uh, nice day today, yeah?"

Darting his eyes both ways he could tell there was a clear dash to the exit as he made his run for it. Once the doors opened and he found himself back out into the cool nights air he smiled wide knowing that he had pulled off the candy heist of the century. That was until a few hours later he completely forgot what he had just done and upon taking off the coat found himself completely drenched in now melted chocolate and sugars.

"Well, fuck."

Putting a hand to one of his pockets he pulled out a huge glob of the chocolatey mess and shoved it into his mouth. Mmm. Still good.

Julius had a sweet tooth so he wandered down to the Candy Galore store where you could find any treat to suit your desire. For Julius, he wanted something chewy. He grabbed two packs of Haribo Gold Bears. That way it would last him throughout the week. Pocketing at least six bears a day could get him through the job. Pocket bears were always more satisfying in a clutch.

He checked the expiration date ensuring this could work and that he wouldn't be crunch for time. A year out. He smiled and then made his way to the register.

"This will be enough," Julius said as he placed the two packets on the counter. The cashier rang up his total and he happily paid. "Thanks."

When Dawn bought Frank-Rosario to the candy shop he just had to laugh and whispered in her ear "cocaine to candy now that's special".  Dawn just burst out into a laugh also.

She introduced him to Odessa who told him it was nice to her him and that she had heard some very nice things about him.  Frank told

her not to believe everything she heard and they all laughed. 

Soon Frank was eyeballing the candy and shortly after that he was at the counter purchasing a bag full.

As they were leaving Frank would hardly talk for chunking on a Snicker's bar.  

Dawn stopped by the candy store to see how the Halloween event went.  Odessa told her that everything went well that they had so many kids.  She had closed off most the of the store and had candy jars on tables across the store and each child was allowed to take only 5 pieces.  She said the kids obeyed and only chose 5 pieces.  She also said she gave away a few special gifts to those who had nice costumes. 

She told Odessa that Frank-Rosario had told her that he would pick up the tab for the Halloween event so she didn't have to worry about a loss.  She was so happy to hear that and could wait to see Frank to thank him.  Dawn laughed knowing he was going to be so thankful when he received the bill.   She told Odessa to write up the invoice and he would stop by and pay it soon. 

Frank drove by the candy store, he walked in and saw Odessa and asked was that Dawn_ that just left, Odessa smiled as she thanked him for paying for the candy that was given away.  Frank looked confused then asked her about the candy and the bill.  When Odessa explained what Dawn said he was willing to do Frank smiled and when he saw the bill he had to blink his eyes as he was not only paying for the candy but also the staff labor hours.  He turned his smirk back into a smile as he grited his teeth and paid out of his pocket.   He though to himself when he catches up with Dawn she's going over the knee the thought of that made him laugh as he walked back to his car to try and track Dawn down.   

Odessa called Dawn to tell her that Frank-Rosario can come in but seemed a little surprised when she presented him with the bill for the Halloween event. 

Don't worry about it. Dawn told her. She had to laugh to herself for sticking him with the bill. He just must have forgotten he had offered to pay for it. 

Dawn asked Odessa how much was the bill and when she said $249.00 all Dawn could say was "Oh Boy".
