Dawn made a quick stop into the candy store.  She had to talk to Odessa about a couple of Frank-Rosario's clients dropping some payments off at the store.  She told Odessa how she would count the money and give a receipt for the correct total. She would then call Dawn with the total and she would match it to make sure it was the correct amount for the product ordered.  Odessa would then deposit the money in a special account.  Odessa would have security accompanying her to make the deposit.  They would be notified when payments were to be expected. 

It had been a while since Kaya ventured out into Detroit. It was a bittersweet place for her -- it held a lot of fond memories because it was where she began her life of crime but at the same time, a lot of the friends and people she knew from Detroit were already gone. They all either retired and fled into the old country or were six feet under; either way, Detroit had felt somewhat like a ghost haunting her for a very long time. It was only recently that it had sprung back to life and so slowly, Kaya found it easier to come back.

She had come to Detroit for business but had a few hours to kill before her next meeting, so she decided to make a quick stop at one of her favorite places in town, Dawn_'s Candy Galore Store. She hoped to see her friend there more than anything, but she also had a hampering for something sweet so it was hitting two birds with one stone. She missed her constant chats with Dawn so Kaya crossed her fingers that she'd see her there for a small catchup.

Kaya walked up to the counter and decided to get some Sugar Babies and lingered around the store as her little order was being prepared. She loved the smell of sugar in the air and watching the kids zip around the store while their parents tried running after them always gave her a laugh. She looked around the crowd in hopes of finding someone familiar with who she can share her candy, not really spotting anyone from the get-go but still remaining hopeful.

Avocato had finished up eating out of a trashcan outside of the late Artie Bucco's former restaurant. It was disgusting, just how he enjoyed it. He had thrown up half of what he ate on the sidewalk and quickly scurried away into an alley, trying to stay out of the public's eye. A cat eating trash wasn't a good look, especially for a Philadelphian cat. He could hear familiar voices in the distance, but he couldn't understand them at this range.

He was being sneaky and walked upon a candy shop with a large window that had lots of candy. He wasn't averse to candy, but he needed a way in.. How could a cat hide easy inside of a business? He really didn't know what to do until he saw Saanvi . He tried to get her attention as she walked but it was in vein. She didn't see him and he was too overweight of a cat to catch up to her.. Until he started meowing and she looked back, unknowingly joining his plan.

Saanvi was on her way to her friends in Detroit for a nice evening of tickets and because this usually went on until late at night, she stayed overnight.
She could not leave her dogs at home alone, so they had to come with her. They followed her obediently.

Suddenly she saw a Candy story in the corner of her eye. Well that came out very well. She didn't have time to take some snacks with her to Detroit. So some candy is always good to come along with.

Saanvi was standing in front of the window to see what kind of sweets this store had and had almost decided what she would buy when her dogs suddenly started to growl.
Before Saanvi could call them to order, all three of them pulled so hard on the leash that Saanvi almost fell.

She already had her hand at her gun, but when she turned around to see why the dogs were going crazy, she saw a cat there. No wonder the dogs were raging. 

Carefully Saanvi reached out her hand to see if the cat was friendly. 

As she looked back, he saw that she was walking her dogs.. Dogs.. God, Avocato HATED dogs. He was roughly the size of a small dog but Saanvi had three larger, but docile looking dogs. As she looked over, the dogs began to pull her over and they were going to try to chase him until she pulled back on the leash. PHEW

He looked as Saanvi approached him with her hand out and he let her pat his head. He loved it, after all. Human affection for cats was like heroin for dopeheads. He meowed a little without meaning to. It kind of killed the moment for him but instincts.

He began meowing towards the window of the candy store to let Saanvi know that he wanted to go inside.. But sneakily. He couldn't just run in, they would kick the weird looking cat out. He needed to be smuggled in and hidden, until he could find what he wanted to get. He had no real way of communicating this with her though so he just stood there, meowing at the window, almost as if she could understand Catanese.

SamRind listened to all the choices, and tried not to let the chatter of voices behind him influence him.

He was considering Sugar Babies or Payday. He picked Sugar Babies as it was slow cooked which sounded delicious.

Dawn_ just loved to see her big children come into her candy store.  She was thrill to see the likes of Kaya, SamRind, @Avocato and @Sannvi come in to stratified their sweet tooth.  All were welcome in her candy store, even weird looking cats. 

There was a nice crowd of people over looking the candy displays when she walked in.  She had to laugh to herself for there were more adults than children. 

Dawn talked and laughed with Odessa a few minutes then went into the office to pick up the payment that Madam Justine had left.  Dawn counting the money and made sure it matched the order she had placed and everything was in order.  

She grabbed a couple of 3 Musketeers Bars.  Odessa gave her the eye she better pay and Dawn dug into her purse pulled out a dollar and place it on the counter with a sigh. 

Zeb had a sweet tooth and that sweet tooth needed sating.

Dawn_ it seems like ages since we last spoke, you look amazing as always.

Intrigued as only a man of discerning taste would be Carlo decided on a little de-tore and entered the shop, eyeing up the sweets on display he felt like a little kid on Xmas morning.

"hmmm.... can I grab five of those Baby Ruths and a pound of both the Sugar Babies and the Red Hot Cinnamons"

After finishing up at Rosario's, her bodyguards loaded with a few pounds of Coke for on the way how, she takes a flight to 12th Street Detroit to tie up some loose end's, and to purchase herself some new outfits from a few outlet's down town. Not taking notice of signage but kid's walking out of a store with bag's full of candy, her mouth pop's open " Lad's fancy a little pick me up?" making her way quickly into the store, she felt like a kid in a candy store, literally!

Taking in all the shelves of candy the smell f utter sweetness, she acted like a hard arse but her sweet tooth always proved her wrong momentarily, salivating at the look of Chick-O-Stick Candy, Payday Candy Bar & Snickers Candy Bar.

Lining up she smiles like a kid in a candy store, sweet memories of growing up flood her till a soft voice interrupts her from the memories

"Ma'am... Ma'am... Can I help you?"

"Uh! Yes, Sorry, Can I grab a pound of your entire selection please...I'm not sure when I will be back if I'm honest and it's been years since I had these.."  She pays the bill and sets off to the airport to Philly with a load of drugs and sweets from her child hood.

Sam picked out two Sugar Babies, enjoying the warm caramel.  He walked off the side to enjoy his treat

There was a store out in Detroit that housed what one could only call a sweet tooth factory-- that is, a place where you go when you need your problems fixed fast and chocolate shoved down your throat. Nothing could stop him from making his way down to this magical land betwixt an outlet mall and a small hardware store that was known simply as The Candy Galore Store. The name itself sent him into a fantastical rage as he slammed open the doors of the establishment a bit too fast and a might too hard, but once he was inside all that he could take note of was the many candies that outlined all of the different aisles.

A lot of work must have gone into this place as he looked around at the snickers bars and mounds of big hunks. Everything looked delectable and so while he shoved as much into his pockets as he could, replacing the candy with dollar bills to pay for what he wanted to eat, he also grabbed handfuls of the confectioneries and began eating slowly.

There was a huge glob of caramel in his mouth when one of the people who helped run the store walked over towards him and asked if there was anything that he needed help with and trying his hardest to work out the words he said in as plain English as he could, "Nosh th-hnk yewww." nearly choking on his own spit as he finished his short sentence, he went back to eating some more random chocolates.

Taking a few gummy bears for the road, he handed the man who had just spoken with him a few more wads of cash and then headed off to explore more of what Detroit has to offer. If this was only the start then he was excited to see what else would lay in store for him, or if this was just the best that anywhere had.

Hope brimmed inside of him as he continued to eat more candy and walk outside.

When Dawn walked into Candy Galore Odessa had decorated the store and it looked like a winter wonderland. The extra help she hired for the Christmas season were dressed up like elfs and she even had Santa Claus in his special section.  It was wonderful how Odessa put so much effort into making the store a great success and the community very happy.  People started coming from way across town to visit the store.  As Dawn looked around around she read the big billboard Odessa created.

Giuseppe walked down a street in Detroit after getting of a flight from New York, Normally when in Detroit he hits up the local speak-easy's but as he was walking Giuseppe looked up and saw "The Candy Galore Store" Sign

"hmmm.... can I grab five of those Baby Ruths, 2 Snickers and a pound of both the Sugar Babies and Boston Baked Beans..... oh and if you have any giant tootsie pops left i'll grab a box"

Rain loved the candy store.  Just thinking about going there bought a smile to her face.  Odessa had done a wonderful job making the place so welcoming.  It was bright and cheery.  She was so good to her customers, especially the children.  Sometimes even with the adult according to how much they would spend she would treat them to extras.

When she walked in Odessa was just finishing with a customer.  When she saw Rain she quickly closed her counter, waved at her and told her to come with her to the office.   On the way Rain grabbed a Snicker bar out one of the candy jars.   At the funeral Odessa told Rain it was time for them to moved on so their greeting was somewhat normal, no tears.  They chatted about how business was going and soon the conversation switched to her mother and they were laughing at the good times. 

Then Odessa went to a wall safe pulled out a large envelope and handed it to Rain.  Rain opened it and saw nothing but one hundred dollar bills.  She looked up and asked Odessa what the hell she was going to do with this.  Odessa told her she didn’t know all she was doing was delivering a verified package.  Rain asked what in the hell was she talking about.  Odessa told Rain her job was to collect the money, make sure it was the correct amount according the books.  She had certain decoys to take the money to safe places until Dawn made it to the store to collect it.  That’s all I know baby girl.   Rain then asked her how much was in there and Odessa told her twenty three thousand dollars and I don’t need that much cash her and you have to take it.

Rain told her OK surely Big Moe would know something about it.  But carrying that amount of money around made her nervous.  She would just take it to the café.

Odessa went and pick out a pretty candy container and placed the money inside and placed the container in a gift bag.  There she told Rain, no one will ever except twenty three thousand dollars is in there. 

After gaining her composure Rain made it to her car and took off for the Café.
