For fans of it, Ready Player Two just came out. I've not read it yet, but will be ASAP.

On series of books i really enjoyed that i think are less mainstream are the dwarves series by Markus Heinz.

Although i read it in english so not the original language but the depth of the story, the character development of the main protagonist is great. For me it wasn't too much of a standard story and really surprised me in each of the 4 novels that this series possesses

I like crime books best, but in movie it dipends on my mood what I like best 

Action and thriller are the things I watch mostly but a good comidy is also on top some days 

I dont really read books, but if I had to choose ones to read It would be GoT series. Loved the show up until last season which was really bad...

I have to say both adaptations of Salems Lot. the 1979 version plays fast and loose with the main characters, but is true to the spirit, and one of King's favourite adaptations. The 2014 adaptation (2004?) is closer to the original text, and is certainly more modern in look and feel, but just doesn't seem as good as the 1979 version.

The Giver as a book is amazing. As a movie? A little less so but still pretty decent. One of my favourite books of all time.

ok, i might get a lot of grief over this but i loved the Twilight series in book form and thought the movies did it justice, five books, four movies - it worked out pretty good...give me some sparkles! 

i thougt Dr Sleep was a good adaptation that considered both the original source material and the fact that Kubrick's Shining deviated from King's original novel. Ewan Macgregor was a good choice for adult Danny and i thought the story was translated to screen well. 

Well, if you are looking for a decent holiday movie, I did watch Christmas inheritance and it was okay, and you will get the result you are expecting in a Christmas movie.

lately I watched the way back, it was really great movei, I used not to watch drama movies but now I think they are the best

Currently reading thru this book. 'A Promised Land'. 

Good read so far. Funny too. About as indept as you can get from a Presidents perspective. 

Still got some of it to finish. Thing is thick. But worth the read. 

Not a movie but love GoT.  We recently bought the book set so looking forward to reading it before Desiderio :)

Sapiens, A brief history of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harrari

One of the best books you will read and the one that will give you absolutely new view on humans. Smart and very stupid things that we did, you will understand us better, in theory :D

I think the only book I've read was of mice and men about 100 years ago when I was in school, we then proceeded to watch the film afterwards so I don't have any other book to film watches 

If I had to give anyone a good book to read that was also a tv show it would be Under The Dome. Read it while I was in jail... lol only time I will read books. Good material though, got completely lost in it

I really liked the Maze Runner books. I've only read through the books once, but still worth it! I did, however, not find the first movie as interesting though. I felt like the movie had way too many plot holes and changes compared to the book and I just couldn't relate to it very well. Maybe that's just me though! Cause most other people I've talked to at least liked the movie :P
