Vaccines are proven throughout history since they were invented as a way of saving lives.  There are risks from taking a vaccine, and there are risks from not doing so. Given the number of people who have had covid and/or had the vaccine the risks of each are well understood now.

Having the current anti-covid vaccine is not only helpful for your own protection, but for the protection of society as a whole - people who don't accept that and refuse the vaccine are more likely to become seriously ill or die. 

I don't particularly wish to be rude or inflame anyone here - i doubt that anything i say here will change anyone's views. People who don't hold my views are entitled to their views.  But we should all be open to hearing sensibly articulated views from people who do not hold our opinion, although i don't think MR is the forum for that.

I never have denied it. There are the unsavoury people mixed with the peaceful ones. You get that in every large protest there is no denying that.

However it is the mainline news that is only broadcasting the worst ... Like they always do.

I watched CBC set up their cameras early on in this protest at the end of part of the convoy when it just started. They took film of about 6 trucks and agreed with Trudeau that there was only a few people involved in this.

When behind their camera man was about another 60 trucks and loads of people waving Canadian flags.

People want their lives back and Canadians are tired of living under a fringe minority government.

I use Fringe Minority just like Trudeau did about the convoy.

Many of the trucks are still parked outside Ottawa

* (a) The (Trump) government controlled the media narrative around the storming of the Capitol, which showed Trump supporters storming the Capitol to ensure the continuing presidency of Trump

* (b)  The Trump supporters storming the Capitol to ensure the continuing presidency of Trump were not actually Trump supporters, they were anti-Trump activists, that the Trump government controlled media erroneously portrayed as Trump supporters

Now, I'm not saying you're suggestable or anything, but is a man who accepts their uncle's story of government interference in a carburettor invention, presumably without further corroboration, and who believes that a first-responder's training qualifies them to understand the complex interface of international pharmacy, capitalism, and international soft and hard power, capable of asking themselves the tough self-critical questions?  Like, for example, maybe I'm a bit susceptible to fanciful conspiracy theories?
