"what THE FUCK is going on here." "I feel like there's a story developing here. Not quite a hot scoop yet but it's slowly getting there." Harold sits down in a cross-legged position, takes a notepad and pencil out of his coat's pockets, and starts taking notes while occasionally exclaiming 'Hmm'. |

Do you have anything to contribute @EditorInCheifHarold? Or is this another CC stroke off? |

BuckyLasek No I'm merely an observer in this shpiel, trying to do my job as a Journalist. Paying attention and whatnot. Taking notes.
You can square me away in the "non-entrant" category. |

Since this isn’t a CC sanctioned event, non entrants are non existent. In a land where you can be anything, why choose to be a dick? |

Fine, just pretend I'm not here then. Though I'd like to remind you of the famous quote: "I non-enter, therefore I am". |

I am aware of our beloved Shoresy catchphrase and only cautioned you that you were getting pretty close to ripping him off. Good work out there TomJoad. Glad to see someone has been reviewing the by-laws. I have attached your entry prize receipt here:
I would also like to remind everyone this is an officially sanctioned Competition Commission event. Thank you for your continued support! |

So, you can’t come up with your own so you have to hijack, Ned_Harrington. Congratulations on giving away free prizes for no reason what so ever. Maybe that’s what you should have submitted your entry as and you might have had a chance. Sorry that anything you say here doesn’t matter. |

Georgette had been sitting idly in a cafe watching the streets to see if anything interesting would happen today. It didn't. But there was a man posting a sign and if there was one thing Georgette loved, aside from her diplomatic works under the Chief Chancellor of The Competition Commission International Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic Relations, It was being involved in anything that might be slightly more interesting than stuffing envelopes or taking dictation from the Chief Chancellor. So the woman paid her bill, left a dollar on the table for a tip, not sure why waitresses weren't just paid a fair wage, but that was a diplomatic relation she'd not be getting involved in, and headed to the street. "Gentlemen," Georgette said, nodding her head at all of them and then giving a proper deep curtsey to show her admiration and friendship with the newest member of The Competition Commission family, Ned_Harrington who, Georgette was certain was British given his surname. "I have it on good authority that this Competition Commission Contest surely has seen some squabbles here today, and thus it is truly an honor to be here and help out by providing the assistance and knowledge that I've learned whilst working as The Competition Commission International Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic Relations Chief Chancellor's Intern for the summer school holidays," Georgette said. "I too would like to encourage the kind of behavior, promote the Competition Commission's contests near and far, and spread the word until the whole world knows that the Competition Commission not only supports the community but also inspires the community." "This experience could lead to an American version of the Canterbury Tales, a collection of stories that ye old British people told each other in the middle ages." Georgette said to everyone listening, "Truly Chauncer was an amazing writer and it's an honour to know that his soul rests as the first and foremost in Poets Corner in the beloved St. Pauls Cathedral in London, which by the way was built by Sir Wren." She crossed herself and looked skyward, giving thanks for being not only alive but also gloriously, pompously, and perfectly British. "Now, I hope everyone can agree that The Competition Commission has the full backing of the T.C.C.I.M.F.A.D.R.C.C.I - FTSSH and should you have any comments, questions or concerns that you can address them to the Chief Chancellor himself." Georgette said, handing out business cards once again, but keeping quiet on the fact that the missives would most likely be read by herself, rather than his gloriousness. But that wasn't a problem, there was no one better at determining what was and wasn't important around these parts. Thats why she was the intern. She was Diplomatic as fuck. |

Thank you for the amazing entry Georgette! I had no idea you worked so closely with the Chief Chancellor and you've accomplished so much. You are truly the intern any Commission would love to have working with them and I am especially proud of the hard work you do for the Competition Commission. Your entry has been accepted. I've attached your prize receipt.

Georgette tried her hardest to keep a stiff-upper-lip but the excitement in the air was too much for her, "Why thank you!" she said, "And I must admit that your mustache is truly glorious, Ned_Harrington and I suspect it will be the talk of the town in due time." "It really is delightful that The Competition Commission has managed to pull another fantastic event off with such grandeur." Georgette said, "Truly remarkable the works that you're doing within and for the community." |

"Why thank you BuckyLasek but I feel that it wouldn't be very diplomatic of me to actually partake in this glorious event that The Competition Commission have arranged, given my line of work within The Competition Commission International Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic Relations Chief Chancellor's Intern for the summer school holidays and our very close working relationship," Georgette said to the man. "But I am excited to hear the stories from the masses once more coming forth to share their histories and anecdotes, to blister our ears with the harrowing and thrilling tales of foregone years and events." "Perhaps there might even be a love story or two thrown into the mix. The opportunities are endless and once again The Competition Commission has inspired us all, bringing peace and joy to a great grey world." |

I'd like to enter the next speech given by TheBeast. Who knows what that wacky nutsack is gonna come out with, but it's usually... Erm... It's worth a giggle.
I only want to enter the non-CC element |

Is this your street corner Ned_Harrington? Did you come up with anything at all or just the regurgitated, tired CC bullshit? Try as you might, you have no sway here. If you feel like giving away things for no reason, keep at it, it doesn’t have anything to do with this event. And once again, when you can choose to be anything at all, why choose to be a dick? |

What exactly is your goal here, Ned_Harrington? You could submit a valid entry or you could keep sprouting about the CC like it means something. Either or is fine as they both mean the same thing at the end of the day. |

StifflersMama arose from a long weekend fiilled with lots of finely aged Scotch and a plethora of young men. She loved her men the same age she loved her Scotch. There was quite the commotion heard from people gathering and telling tales about how they've done good deeds for others. Since her love, Paul_Finch had met his untimely death four days earlier, Jeanine hadn't emerged from her apartment. She reminisced about the good times shared with her young lover and recounted the sleepovers, and small talk they shared. However, curiosity got the best of her so she put on her house shoes and strolled down the street to see of there were any good prospects to fill her void. Certainly the Competition Commission had nothing to do with this, but she was intrigued. Listening to a few others retelling their good deeds, she felt compelled to get up on her soapbox and officially enter the competition. As she cleared her voice she shakily started speaking.
Good evening. What an interesting event this has been. I'd love to share a time with you all that I'm sure will bring a smile to the faces in the crowd. As you all know my Son Stiffler has had quite the journey in life. His zest for parites and females has brought great joy to the masses. It all started an undisclosed number of years ago where I met Stevens father. He was a bit of a dick, please excuse my language as it's no way for a lady to speak. In order to try to salvage the relationship with my children, I kicked him to the curb. That was probably the most selsfless thing I've done for my family. If that never happened, then I doubt ole Stiffmeister would be here today to grace us all with his leadership and care for his members and city. Family means everything.
With a final half-smile, Jeanine grabbed the hand of the unsanctioned Competition Commission competition runner and descended down the steps to return to her apartment. |
