MSP philly really has nothing to do with this petty arguement

At least Mikey actually nails his colours to a mast.

aldflainue - you are a guttersnipe, a cad, a weirdo, an egotistical halfwit.  And you aren't even really all that amusing.

Report Post Tip

Not trying to be entertaining, I don't feel the need to get attention to thrive

In exactly 48 hours?  I'll take that bet.  I'm fully prepared for one of your stealth friends to take me out but in exactly 48 hours?  That will be tough. I can just hop on a plane, win the bet, and put my faith in your integrity and wait for the cash.  Hey wait a minute, this is a scam!  Fuck that!

Report Post Tip

Mikey, I have no quarrell with you, what-so-ever.  I thought you were Tila's nexto-k and you'e not

Report Post Tip

You mean you guessed someone's bloodline wrong? Holy hell

Beethoven had his critics.  Can you name three of them?

While this is a riveting discussion already; I feel the need to interject. My father died with Canucklehead, so I feel what he told me before he died may be a bit more accurate than what's said here.

"her opposition to what they stand for (unity, bravery, honour, justice)"

Not sure how a crew leader can stand against unity and still be a family head. Bravery, I couldn't give two shits about whether she was brave; she got killed first in the war so you cannot really hold that against her. You made more of this speech about the rogue situation than anything; which is odd that you are deliberately shedding light on the shit your boss's bloodline has been responsible for. Then you talk about honor? "Justice"?

"Canucklehead was much like the city she longed to run; never destined for greatness and extremely problematic."

Every city is problematic, and from the basis of your speech it seems most of those problems were due to a group of shit-stirrers from the underground community. From the sounds of it; these gentlemen had an agenda with Canucklehead from the moment they stepped onto these shores (a surprising symptom of OOCitis), and that was what made Canucklehead's reign so problematic. "Never destine for greatness"? Canucklehead had a massive source of potential within the walls of that HQ, so I have to disagree that it would've never gotten better.

All in all, this speech is a recollection of failed rogues and how it affected a deceased crewleader. I find it odd, though, that you kept these words of disdain to yourself during Canucklehead's time as a crewleader, and they're just now reaching the printing presses.

Pharol, you want answers?  You think you're entitled to them?  You want the truth?

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

Son we live in a world that has cities and those cities are protected by men with guns.  Who used to do it.  You?  You aldflainue?  As rogues we had a greater responsability that you can possibly imagine.

We used words like honour, code, loyalty.  We used these words as the backbone of an ideology that sought to destroy something.

YOU USED THEM AS A PUNCHLINE!

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a Made Man who rises and sleeps in a New World *that we provided* and then questions the methods with which we provided it.  I would rather you just said thank you and went about your business.

EITHER WAY, I COULD NOT GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE ENTITLED TO!

Make of that what you will.

Have a pleasant day.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!- Then Its lucky you don't speak it

Trust me, the feeling is mutual.

Manic, at least speak with some respect about the people who are now sadly not with us. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of people and nobody can take that away from you. However, speaking ill of someone who was in a position of power, and is now dead, is just disrespectful and uncalled for.

First of all, the underground group you speak of had no problems with Canucklehead, only a select few of them did. If we were nothing but a group of shit-stirrers, why are we being allowed to go about our business now? Obviously your narrow minded view is that of the old regime and the old regime hated all of us for the simple reason that we didn't kiss their arses and suck their dicks. The old regime even made up random figures about us to pour more scorn upon us and people like you slurped it up like a pig in a trough. One Godfather claiming that one of my blood had over 200 BG kills when the actual figure was more like 25.

Secondly, the surprising symptom of OOCitis comment made me chuckle as didn't Canucklehead have that same problem with Manic's bloodline? Pot. Kettle. Black.

"Manic, at least speak with some respect about the people who are now sadly not with us. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of people and nobody can take that away from you. However, speaking ill of someone who was in a position of power, and is now dead, is just disrespectful and uncalled for." ~ Pratster

I don't see why he has to speak with any respect at all. He is giving their blood a chance to defend them, he is not spitting on their grave or screaming and shouting bad things about them while people mourn over the casket. He brought it out into the public arena and aired their views... something that I see as totally viable.

And besides... there's always that other way to shut him up...

Report Post Tip

No matter whether he is doing it here, in a public bar, at the funeral, wherever. I would still think that some respect is needed when speaking about fellow mafiosi and a CL at their time of death at that. I have no idea what Manic's bloodline is or has done, and quite frankly I couldn't give two shits. What matters is what he himself is doing, and coming to the streets speaking as disrespectful as that, isn't gonna change anyone's opinions of him.

As I said, I'm unfamiliar with what the bloodline has done in the past, but judging off what's been said and his actions specifically, I can't help but feel the same way as most people apparently do towards him.

Report Post Tip

Alas, I only agree with Prastser about 80% of the time.

Lucky for us, this is one of them! :D

Report Post Tip

Pratster, have you ever thought he couldn't give a rats ass what your or anybody elses opinion is of him, am more than willing to bet he couldn't give two shits aswell

The obits are the place to pay the respects to the dead and to mourn in a civilized manner. The streets on the otherhand are here to debate and air views and opinions, within reason. If you don't like it, don't listen to it or do something about it. Some people really need to desensitize themselves

TeQ, there is a spectrum of "underground groups" present in this world. Based on the... "underground" nature of the group, how can you call me narrow-minded for not knowing the extent of the group, the fact that there are subsects of the group with different sets of plans, and that I'd know who all is a part of it; I mean it's fucking ridiculous. My references to the "underground group" were set in the scope of the original speech made by Manic. So yeah, when I say "these gentlemen had an agenda with Canucklehead", I'm referring to "the gentlemen that had an agenda with Canucklehead". Was that too vague?

As to the OOCitis, my comments are based on the scope of the speech. Manic didn't bring up getting bloodline hunted, did he? So why the flying fuck would I include that in my response? I don't know the OOC relationships at work with the content of this speech, so I was only referring to the information that Manic provided.

"If we were nothing but a group of shit-stirrers, why are we being allowed to go about our business now?"

You answered your own question. You WERE a group of shit-stirrers, and your loyalties lied in your friends instead of your boss. If that's the "narrow-minded view of the old regime", then call me old-fashioned. Clearly, someone trusts EvilClown enough to give him an HQ, so wouldn't that question be better posed at the leader who authed him?

As to your facts from the old regime; I simply don't give a fuck. I don't care if Roman said you had 200 BG kills, I don't care that you only had 25. I don't really see how that was, or is relevant to the discussion at hand.

This is throughly entertaining and now the respect police have arrived it's taken on another turn.

You do have to wonder where they have been all this time.
