I have been following this with some relish, I have heard stories of the exploits my father and a merry band of reprobates once brought to this world. Some of the elements Manic initially spoke about were somewhat distorted, but with age and whispers here and there, I would expect nothing less. EvilClown; you are welcome to interpret my words however you choose. I find it rather petty that you'd be so quick to assume I was challenging you or attacking you. Read what I said. Read it again. There is no reference to you not being trustworthy, and if you were to put what *I* said as an argument in your defense, it says exactly the same thing. But let me break it down for you:

"Clearly" - I'm implying that the following statement is both obvious and easy to understand.

"Someone trusts EvilClown enough to give him an HQ" - Pretty self-explanatory here; someone feels sure enough that investing in you is a good idea.

EvilClown, you are easily the biggest example of such a move, and it shouldn't come as any shock that your bloodline's turn from shady business to a shiny HQ is the most obvious. I didn't auth you. I don't know why Alabama authed you. So, rather than answer the question at hand; I directed TeQ to someone who would be more qualified to answer.

Not sure what your "ivory tower" has to do with anything, because right now you're in the Streets, not a big shiny tower. If you want to hold discussions in your tower, have your LHM give these speeches in the padded rooms of your HQ; where they may be better received.

Having overheard this entire long winded speech that just so happened to occur on the same corner in which he decided to sit down and crawl into a bottle at so many days ago, he feels the need to speak and, perhaps, point out the obvious.

This whole conversation has spiraled into nothing but an excuse to trash someone's bloodline. Wait...did I say spiral? That wouldn't be fair since I suspect it was originally designed to do two things. Trash someone's bloodline while trying to, yet again, connect his own to the reason why Roman was killed.

It amuses me that those who felt so victimized by bloodline hunting can so easily perform the verbal equivalent and those that claim to have led the fight against can sit around and allow it.

The one unintended effect of this conversation, though, is a glimpse at the bubbling discontent that still exists in our society today. There is still a dysfunction that exists today and on that, it seems, no leader wants to face. The leadership in this thing of ours has become entirely too incestuous. We've all bore witness to a massive war conducted on the premise of change but what has really changed? You can speak more openly on the streets however much of the censorship under Roman was self imposed and went beyond what the man himself would have demanded.

When you get beyond that what has really changed? The leaders may feel more freedom now that they don't have Roman's gun hanging over them but, if we're being honest here, I doubt that Philly's leaders feel any more free right now than they would if Roman were alive. Go beyond leadership and I know that many feel as if nothing has changed. Our leadership is incestuous. A Crew Leader dies and the Right Hand Man takes over the crew. The son or daughter of the deceased Crew Leader comes finds there way to our shores and is immediately crowned Right Hand Man to the Crew Leader who was previously Right Hand Man. Nothing changes. We've seen in this thread about a bloodline defending his current leadership against the mistakes of his father's leadership and his father's father's leadership. It seems a rather silly argument to be having if, for no other reason, because it begs the question "Why do the same people always end up wearing the bold suit?"

Now as someone who's bloodline has been in the position of granting those bold suits I can say it's not an easy task but if you want to make change...REAL CHANGE...it has to start at the top. The leaders have to not only expect change, but demand it. Not just from us but from their leaders. And it has to be real change. Not this "If you weren't allowed to do it under Roman you are now" crap. Furthermore if you want real change than look to new blood. It's easy to throw people in Las Vegas and laugh off their mistakes as they get killed. It takes guts to auth someone new under you and protect them as they learn. Or we can just continue on with change as usual.

Change comes from the bottom up.  Not top down.  The rollerskates are on the BOTTOM of the legs.  The legs move us where we want to go.

Do you see an army marching on their heads?  No?  I did once, but the television was  upended and I was confused.  So, no, I haven't.  And you haven't either.

To move we need to use our legs.  The legs are at the bottom half of the body.  The ultimate extremity that keeps us moving are the feet.  They are on the bottom, not the top.

We all get up in the morning and have to go to he shop for coffee.  Why?  To engage the brain mechanism that makes the decisions that affects the changes we need.  But how do we get there?  Using our feet -  at the bottom of our legs.
