Jesters Of Comedy Radio Show Started by: Kevin_Leman on May 18, '08 15:28
Reluctantly Kevin Leman sat himself behind the desk, on which was the radio's equipment. How he had gotten himself into such a position he wasn't quite sure. He wasn't the most humorous person in the world, by far, but he was now hosting a comedy show? The world was an odd place, to say the least.

Welcome, I'll not bore you in the slightest, my fair people, let's get to the point, shall we?

We shan't be hearing music, no, no, this is comedy. Comedic performances at their finest, between me and my, as of now unknown, guests. It is an Improvised comedic act, so, we shall see how things turn out.

So, shall we?

Let's introduce my first guest....

Waiting now for his first guest to come out of the shadows and introduce his or herself, he grew silent.
Report Post Tip
Still strumming his fingers, he turns towards the microphone once again

Seems to me my friend here has gone shy on me, it must be the span of our audience. I assure him there are only 3 people in this world that listen, but he fears there's more.
Report Post Tip
Looking around confused I walk in "Well if your other guest isn't going to show up I may as well get on here, Let the comedy begin!"
Report Post Tip
Kevin turns around in utter disbelief!

Dear lord, a visitor! And who is it? None other then the comic genius (I use this term very very loosely, you see) Cyclone!

Well, sit down, Cyclone, and let's have a bit of a chuckle de comedic! And yes, folks, I just made that up. That's called Improvisation, and you'll get a lot of that here. None of our performances are rehearsed.

In the background you hear Cyclone comment "Kevin, that wasn't in the script..."
Report Post Tip
"Well may as well get this started on a good note" Smashes a cream pie in Kevin's face
Report Post Tip
Wiping away the cream, and crust, Kevin stares blankly at Cyclone

You do realize, dear cyclone, this is a radio show. Smashing a pie in my face would only be funny if people could see it.

Dear god! Where are my manors!

World, meet cyclone, the spinster cross dressing leprechaun!
Report Post Tip
Hanging my head in shame "Oh yes, well folks I just smashed a pie in his face! That quality humor right there that you missed! So please drop on by the station and come watch...and drop off some donations." I say smiling
Report Post Tip
Well well well! That's a nice way to get a bit of money out of people, Cyclone! That's right folks, we accept donations. For every $1,000 donation, I shall put a pie in my own face. For every $5,000 donation I shall get squirted by a water-squirting flower, for every $10,000 I shall dance with a swarm of live bees!

This comedy doesn't come cheap, Cyclone does though, for every $5 donation he shall dance naked on a raft, in shark infested water! (This is just a dramatization of the extent Cyclone will go for money, and not an actual guarantee that he will perform said stunt.)
Report Post Tip
Laughing That indeed is very true if you add several zero's. For the low low price of $50000 I will dance naked on a raft, in shark infested water! Double your money we will add Electric eels! This entertainment is worth every dollar.
Report Post Tip
Look at that folks, the man's willing to energize himself, electrify himself, and even erectify himself, for the low price of $50,000!

But enough of the infomercial, money begging, that's not what we're here for. We're here to give you a bit of a chuckle, a foray oh comic genius!

Or, maybe a bit of comedy mixed with eccentric behavior and misspellings, made up words, intentional use of incorrect wordings to amuse the simple minds of the speakers, and sarcastic remarks intentionally placed to be mistaken as truth, and simple reminding of slight comic credentials.

Now, if you did not follow that previous statement, I shall sum it up clearly here.

Either we'll be funny, we'll be dumb, or we'll be annoying. The choice is yours!
Report Post Tip
I will handle the funny while my cohort will handle the dumb and annoying parts. It is his particular talent.

Coughing

Well I think a marvelous way to start this up is with a bit of Improv. What shall the first topic be?
Report Post Tip
Leprechauns in dresses.

My you look marvelous today, Cyclone. Pink really is your color!
Report Post Tip
Why thank you my dear Ant eater. I must say your snout impresses me greatly.
Report Post Tip
Oh, you noticed! I must say, the extension I bought works perfectly! Lengthens, but doesn't straighten. It has the perfect bend and tuck!
Report Post Tip
Quite that must be handy for other back alley activities. Helps the cash flow well Imagine.
Report Post Tip
I haven't exactly tried it out yet, I've been waiting. I think I may return it though, it makes my face look long!

How about your dress, now, where did you get a 1 foot tall dress? It amazes me that they come that small, with such elegant stitch work!
Report Post Tip
Oh well they leprechaun union demanded that the factories start making dresses in this size. We had to bribe them with gold...and bite off a few heads. CEO's are very tasty by the way.
Report Post Tip
Being the CEO of Jester Jokes Inc, Kevin slowly backs away

Well, that's good to hear. Now. Did it come with the french maid hat, or did you pay extra for that?
Report Post Tip
Ah well let's just say I'm no longer aloud to hire maids.....
Report Post Tip
Well well, this doesn't seem very funny, friend.

Let's allow the guest to pick the topic, shall we?
