Cadoras, hopefully my previous comment clears up your two points that are valid, but to recap, Sgt calling HighSociety actiing Godfather is only to show that is how we in Vegas and Vegas alone are treating the situation because we know there is a ways to go yet before we can approach the GF council on a matter of claiming that position at an official capacity.

Also, nobody can "close" the door to any city that doesn't already have an actual acting GF present because of the wise guy buy out situation currently in place. We wrote this because we want it to be clear that anyone coming to Vegas at this point will be treated as a rogue.

As for the if five people were to setup comment, thats highly unrealistic for one, two we have stated that all the people who've already agreed to work together and setup in Vegas with our aknowledgement are already here. Perhaps those that are willing to wait and see if there is room for them in the future to work with us in a trusting matter then there might be such a situation in the future, but until then all new comers will be treated as rogue and enemies of the families in Vegas.

As a group of four participants in the Las Vegas "Scenario" (for lack of a better word), these men have come to the Streets to inform anyone who attempts to set up within the city borders of Las Vegas will not be met with kindness. Anyone who purchases a Las Vegas HQ will be regarded as a threat to each of the four existing HQs, and will therefore not be allowed to coexist.

This isn't breaking any rules, this is just a spoken claim over Las Vegas.

Can we stop nitpicking and playing semantics here? It's obvious what is meant. The current leaders of Las Vegas cannot stop people from setting up in Las Vegas but those that do will not be welcomed in Las Vegas and will most likely face hostilities as the new auth will now fall under the blanket of Las Vegas business. Business in which the Godfather Council has directed to not be interfered with by outside cities.

I applaud the move by the heads of Las Vegas. I can in no way guarantee it will work out in the end as the Godfather Council could always decide that they want to change the rules but as of now no one is going against any rules set forth currently. There is also no guarantee that someone else will not set up in Las Vegas who is capable of defeating the current leaders and making it home. I will say that I admire the initiative set forth here. It may come a disappointment to some who hoped that Las Vegas would continue to provide entertainment but no one should expect those that take advantage of the opportunity to set in Las Vegas to continue to operate in a manner that will subject them to being the butt of a joke.

These men are stepping up to reach for the level of respectability already provided to the other inhabited cities. That is good to see. They aren't wasting their chance. I wish them the best of luck. As I said I cannot guarantee success but you'll face no opposition from me for trying to better your situation.

Well, having sat down and listened to all this chatter from folks, I don't quite understand why people are all so confused?

People currently in Vegas have announced new arrivals are unwelcome... I see no problem there, in fact, its really a silly move in the fact people now know that if you want to come in and lead Vegas you need to come in hard and remove us as we'll stand in your way.

I don't see any rules broken. This was simply a strategy put in place by Vegas to attempt to have some control and maybe put off individuals coming in that aren't planning to work alongside the current leadership of Vegas.

So incase anyone is still confused; The doors aren't closed, they will remain open just like the Godfather Council announced, however should you wish to step into Vegas as a leader and not bow to the rule of those currently there, you must now realise that you have little choice but to spill a lot of blood and take Vegas by force.

Whilst this show of solidarity is admirable I can’t help thinking it shows a degree of naivety in the message portrayed in the opening speech, as you have backtracked significantly Pardon my bluntness, but coming forth and decreeing an acting godfather within Vegas means jackshit to the other cities outside of Vegas, along with you closing the city off. You can’t close the doors if you haven’t got the keys and as it stands at the moment the keys are with the godfather council. That was your first mistake As Don Stallion has stated, if a city head wishes to send one of thier own over to Vegas to see him/her spread his wings, as is within their rights to do so. Subsequently this person is then gunned down within moments of stepping off the plane, as is your right to do so and have insisted will be the case. How do you feel that is going to play out with the city head who helped back the bags and pay for the plane fare, I can assure you it won’t go down too well Coming here today and calling leaders out, you may now find yourselves in a situation of cities calling your bluff to see how you react and to possibly give them a reason to wipe you all out. How do you feel that is going to play out with the city head who helped pack the bags and pay for the plane fare

Under the circumstances, the City Head should have no complaints. They know the risks just as much as their member does, you go to Vegas then you do so on your own head. If your gunned down the second you step off the plane then so be it.

I feel Sarge, the Boss of Las Vegas, did a fine job at clarify his message. It is never easy delivering messages of such high importance, and he did an admirable job once again.

His city Capo also came out to support his stance, which is further proof of the great work being done in Las Vegas.

by the rules set forth by the Godfather, no outside interference is to take place, as long as it is contained within Las Vegas. If someone sets up in Las Vegas, they Are Las Vegas. From that point on, no outside influence is to be provided. A Crew Leader sending over their now ex member, should not be upset by this as they knew what moving to Las Vegas meant. If they are upset, and chose to act, they would be in direct defiance of that wishes of the Godfather Council

I believe it is quite daring of you guys to attempt to 'close' Las Vegas. It is obvious that more people are going to move to Las Vegas and if you are not going to make them welcome I fully expect to see the current LV lot in the obits quite soon. By declaring no-one else will be welcome in Las Vegas you have just shot yourself in the foot. I am sure there will soon be people much stronger than yourselves moving to the city, if I was in your shoes i'd start getting defences ready...

As you currently stand, you are weak on all fronts. All this does is urge budding CL's to hold out untill this city is in range, it would not take a great deal to remove you.Respectivly.

Not that i want to see you all out of power, i suppose this incident would have to be a lesson learnt in how to not to approach the streets without proper and correct logic and reason.

unfortunatley the city has just signed its own death warrant. Members can now justify setting up in LV and shooting at you even more than before.
