The first is to do with this voting in and voting out scenario. Say that I get voted out of Detroit, which I know is completely unfathomable because I'm Bruce and everyone called Bruce in the history of humanity is a superstar, what should happen if I decide not to leave?

Well, we have stated that a 12 hour grace period will be allowed for the stepping down of the voted out family, if they choose to stay, they will be removed. If you go against the guidelines of the experiment you will be dealt with swiftly, it's that simple. We have given the options if they have been voted out as well. You can STAY in Detroit under another family, or go to your original family you came from.

The reason I ask is that another of the rules is that there will be no outside interference. Should I decide that I don't like the way that the vote has gone and in my Brucely wisdom decide to kill all of the other leaders rather than leave and disband, can I expect a bullet to the face from the other cities? Is one of the Gods going to smite me down?

What happens if you break the rules? You die. There will be NO outside influence as long as no wrong doing is happening. If you cheat and break the rules of the experiment, you're no longer apart of the experiment. You're now considered a rogue.

We will be allowing the families to do as they please within the city walls, Caruzzo. What I was meaning was, if a family IS voted out then they have 12 hours to abandon their HQ. If they DO NOT abandon the HQ after the 12 hour grace period is up, they will be considered a rogue to all other cities at that point.

well i love the idea new crews being started up, the more familys the better n everyone has to agree with this but like others have stated this hasnt been thought through well enough by the heads in my opinion and here it is .........

now thiers 2 free citys as said, see how much intreast thier is for new CLs if we get 5 leaders great if not not to worry but if thiers 6 instead of kicking out CLs let them start up in LV n well as many of them as they want and let LV be a free city without the Forts n BG rules after 2 weeks of being set up as DET, so if you have the max FORTS for the two weeks before its up then just save the funds n once the deadlines up just buy the rest but keep a max of 5 in DET n let LV run freely on number of crews

this way thier will be more entries, people wont waste money n freedom will be given if you show youre worth it

I should imagine there are already plans for Las Vegas, Trainz. Hopefully we'll see some developments soon as it would be nice to have every city occupied once again (assuming people take up the opportunity in Detroit). I feel it has been too long since we've seen that sort of situation.

It seems like a pretty straight forward thing except I am having a bit of trouble with one of the rules. Perhaps it could be clarified for me.

You must be a maximum Bodyguard tier of Very Well Protected on entering, and you may NOT increase your bodyguard tier while in the city (meaning a limit of 50 bodyguards).

Does this mean that you must have all 50 BG's upon entering, and if not, does the second part prohibit the increasing of your protection once in DT? Sorry but I only have my 8th grade.

Anthony to clarify you dont have to enter with them all you just cannot increase your protection status above VWP or enter above VWP

Like any experiment in the past there will be both pros and cons. I for one believe that the pros far outweigh the cons. We get to see Detroit fill up, and maybe someone will be able to make a name for themselves. Its always nice to see what maybe a first time CL can do with their chance.

I do however have one thing I need to get off my chest, yes, I understand that when someone takes their chances by going to Det they know what they're signing up for. But in the rules it states that, every two weeks the CL's can decide amongst themselves who gets the boot so to say. Well, what happens when everytime one CL gets the edge and becomes stronger than the others, why wouldnt the vote them off in fear of them reaching GF before they will? Sure we would all like to think that those that will find a home in Detroit can work together, but after all it is a competition, and whoever reaches Godfather first, wins.

With that being said, I do look forward to being able to see whats to come of Detroit, and I wish the best to all of those who partake.

The arguments are there... it is quite easy to point out the good out of having a godfather in a city. And he/she would have to be convincing enough that he/she is the best person for the job. It is quite challenging and interesting, i personally like this idea to be honest. I guess it will be a very interesting watch from the outside. Several experiments have been conducted in the past and many, MANY people enjoy them. Either by participating in them or just as spectators. The people in charge come up with the rules they see fit. If you are right and it is unrealistic, then I guess nobody will come forward to it and that will be the end of that.

These several experiments have been conducted before and I wouldn't say if they were successful per say.

Longevity trumps everything. This plan has a lot of cons, but not everything is given to you in the beginning, you have to work hard, play HARD and earn it. One of you who decides to step up and play leader in DT, in time will be Godfather. Does that fucking suck? Nope! One of you will be a winner in this so called contest. Leadership can't be just be handed down to you, most of us will go back to our crews, but that doesn't stop us from trying again and again. A leader with vision has a clear, vivid picture of where to go, as well as a firm grasp on what success looks like and how to achieve it. But it's not enough to have a vision; leaders must also share it and act upon it.

There will be 5 crews in the Motor City, how you choose to "handle" each other its up to you and it can determine your future. Work consecutively, or turn on each other, use politics to your advantage. This plan ensures that DT can be yours.

A humble leader is not self-effacing but rather tries to elevate everyone. A leader must be assertive to get the desired results. Along with assertiveness comes the responsibility to clearly understand what other bosses expect from each other.

Leadership is the capacity and will to rally men and women to a common purpose and the character which inspires

This contest is all about determining true wit, integrity, dedication, and assertiveness. These are some of the finest qualities a leader can have.
