Knockaert, you've heard of me or know some facts about me but you would've let me know who you are if you really knew me and knew how much I detest arguing with someone who knows my history without a hint at possibly knowing theirs.

Teofilo, the word unnecessary is the ugly stain for that particular flaw with this system. If it's an implied version as to be expected of everyone it most likely should never have been mentioned and if it was intended then there should be an explanation as to why or what differences there are. I initially stayed out of it because setting standards takes effort and before posting I knew that there would likely not be any given to help those involved understand the wording. I agree covering every scenario is impossible, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to quickly cover most with an effort that only needs around 5 rules or ideas.

I also hope those involved have some success but I truly doubt there will be any.

Philli_Stein, first things first I couldn't care less if someone has or hasn't been a crew leader in logical discussions of this nature. I have been a Crew Leader but that is irrelevant in logical discussions other than bringing attention to a point or counterpoint using a means of advertisement that convinces many a fool to blindly follow whether the point has any validity or not.

A lack of clarity is an issue, and stating a case by case basis without any explanation means you won't be defining that point that was important enough to need mentioning until someone has used their gun and that's absurdly late in the process to be defining a rule.

Unnecessary bloodshed can be defined, but I'd much rather get rid of the wording and set some standard rules. My personal choice for eliminating massive amounts of bloodshed would be to simply require a speech explaining reasons for every attack, a set amount of time under GF protection to start the competition and allow some interaction time, a set of issues the competitors have to deal with (this could also be used to make the second part not a voting system) so that removing a competitor causes them additional work such as a minimum amount of earnings put forward to the council per week as a city, and maybe requiring them to seek the go ahead from any CL willing to also bare responsibility for an attack if you're worried about people using stupid reasons to kill others because asking every GF will likely lead to their plan of attack being exposed before they can attack. Those are some ideas that I came up with in less than 5 minutes... it's hard for me to believe a council of people can't have someone come up with some and then agree on them at a later time.

You say there's no sense of justice in the mafia, so does that mean it's open season on your members or will you kill someone who shoots one? Justice, just like unnecessary bloodshed is an ever-changing term. Justice is centered around punishing those who break the agreed upon rules for breaking set rules. Otherwise, the rules have no meaning. There is no system, no rules, and no order if there is no fear of justice... it's just simply chaos. And a democracy is a governing system run solely by voting... not necessarily a governing party like that of a country.

Really Ragnorak? If anything I'm surprised after seeing those elected that any bloodshed has happened at all. All though making a complete assumption it looks like the death might have happened at the hands of an external factor, which makes sense. 

if it helps Ragnorak, the matter was an external issue of NY and rumours have passed round he was stepping down possibly in the next few days and sending his members elsewhere.

Point is, people know who his bloodline is. Regardless of how you try and paint it, they are known.

Though saying that, I've never heard of any of his bloodline being dirty or canniving or even backstabbing. But regardess, the life we lead tends to be populated by many with these traits and often we require people of this nature to help us succeed in some manner, so although you meant those comments to highlight some bad traits of his bloodline, in fact you've simply shown that his bloodline has previously done whatever it needed to do. Be interesting to see how Telkin manages in a bold suit given this information you've shared with us.

Unfortunately for this rat fuck, we have a small population who tend to NEVER forget (talking from experience). It's no use doing the things his bloodline has done and hoping the population forgets about it. It just doesn't happen.

Well I've either forgotten these incidents, or somehow never learned of them. Given my noseybastardness, I fail to believe the latter is true. My memory however is fucking awful, so I guess I must assume I've forgot, which would then contradict the point you made?
