Teofilo unbuttons his jacket front pocket, slides his hand into the inside pocket, and withdraws a tape measure.

"Here you go guys, let's just settle this once and for all."

Teofilo hands the tape measure over so the dick measuring can be sorted out.

So I have noticed that an auth from this contest has moved out of Staten Island. I figured that if they were voted in they should remain there unless they step down so why was this move allowed? Of course I don't actually expect an answer to my curiousity but I would think that as a contestant they should stick it out and not be saved from the contest area just because.

Interesting point there KalePhuriDae and one that certainly didn't pass me bye as I saw Telkins forts go down each day. Considering some of us may have invested a vote in it which clearly may have been better suited for someone more up to the task, it's a shame that there wasn't even a speech explaining their reasons for stepping down. 

Ah yes it was sad to see Telkin step down. There is still time for a thread in that case. However Telkin actually stepped down whereas another still stands and has moved. Was she not the best option for a vote? I do wonder if others feel they have voted wrongly if someone cannot follow through with the contest.

The person that moved was the District head, so thats rather odd indeed.

I believe Telkin was advised to step down as the alternative was a nice swim with the fish.

A crew was removed from Staten Island after a discussion amongst the Godfathers. I am looking forward to watching the remaining crews there working together to build the district up. New York has seen so much turmoil lately, but with 3 established districts there now, it looks like New York will soon be back where she belongs.

Considering that the authing in Staten Island was made a public event, I think it would've been nice if we had seen a little public statement on the removals of the half of those auths that haven't made it or have moved, but, of course, it is down to the judgement of the Godfathers.

I was surprised to see Roquelaure move, I will say. I was under the impression that as acting Godfather there, she was a major force for stability in Staten Island. I hope that the remaining three crews can recover from the loss of Roquelaure, as despite my initial reservations about what good 'Crewleader Idol' would do, it did seem that a decent district was being built from it.

I agree with Ziva here. What bullshit is this that they just moved back to another city while still remaining Crew Leader. They were voted in to be a CL in that particular district. Wasn't this the whole point of voting for people? Voting for who you actually wanted to be in that district?

As it happens, I didn't vote for either of the two people that are no longer 'what they say on the tin'. Which is a relief as I'd feel like I'd been right mugged off if I had. More explanation is needed than just 'the Godfathers spoke and agreed'. Yeah, and why did they agree to that?

Fair enough, there are still CL's in Staten Island that are going strong, so it has sort of been a success in some way. Come on though, no actual communication with a general community about what the fuck is happened and why?

Are the current crop just incapable of having a speech ready before they take action? As with the most recent war, unless I've completely missed it, we're still to see a war thread, other than that from Penquin's kin.

I find it a little strange how a very recent Godfather came to the streets to talk about it though. Maybe a topic for another time.

My point still stands about the organisational side of things. Speeches like these should be ready before the event occurs, or at most twenty four hours after.

First off i agree wholeheartedly with Teofilo.  I believe the issues lays in the fact that there are simply too many Godfathers present.   It was nice when we used to come to the streets and we understood full well who was in charge of a particular city.    There is just no leadership presence whatsoever in the streets any longer :S.  The saying 'too many chiefs and not enough indians' partially holds true, as there are too many chiefs it just seems none are willing to take on the true responsibility of being one.  

I wouldn't disagree with the notion that we do seem to have more Godfathers than is particularly logical in this thing of ours, I think it holds true to say that we have more crew leaders too though, since there are a hell of a lot of empty spaces in crews but that each district pretty much has. But the fault of that lays in how our world is set up these days, not with the people in it. All we can do is to play to the changes and hope we can figure a way of making it work for our district.

I would like to see the Gods revisit the notion of having our world divided by district rather than by city, however. It's been a while now and although my bloodline has come to enjoy certain aspects of the changes, on the whole I'm not entirely convinced it's been an improvement.

I'm surprised that a LHM of a Godfather is mentioning such things when we could direct the same question to you.

You mention the current crop, are you talking of your own godfather, who was a part of this war? I honestly just expect a LHM to a Godfather to know these things and to fix the house before trying to fix the world.

As far as the recent GF comment, he made it clear that was his own reasons to get into the war, meaning he wasn't speaking for the others who were also part of it.

Well it looks like those 2 competitions went rather well didn't they? Oh and no explanations either because why do us commoners need to know whats happening right? I wonder why some people had a problem with this in the first place?
