That bum wasn't THAT beat up.  Not really.  She barely put any effort in it.  Rose was just too tired this evening.  She glanced at both hands as they rested on her lap, her nails seemed fine, nothing broken.  As Insight mentioned beer, Rose resisted the urge to frown.  She wasn't fond of beer at all.  He was always teasing her about the 'girly' drinks she ordered, but next to wine she loved those 'girly' drinks.

"Beer hmm.  I'm not sure yet."

Rose turned towards Navent then frowned slightly hearing he had had a rough day as well.  At the mention of a drink, she glanced once again towards the oblivious bartender, and shook her head in amazement at the ignoring of customers over a blasted crossword puzzle.

"That sounds lovely!  Next round will be on me, and yes there will more than one round for me this evening.  I was thinking about...."

The shouting from above stopped Rose from continuing her sentence.  She glanced up towards the source of the familiar voice, and was pleasantly surprised to see Godmother Rayln coming over towards the bar.  Smiling at one of her favorite Godmothers, Rose waved in greeting.  She was shocked at the events that followed with the bartender.  She had rarely seen Godmother Rayln pissed off, but she didn't blame her for being irritated.

"Ah well Godmother Rayln it is great to see you!  No need for free drinks!   Sorry you're having a rough night too it seems."

Rose paused thinking this was one hell of an evening since everyone was having a bit of troubles.

"I will have a Sea Breeze to start with."

Rose in turn glanced towards both Insight and Navent.  

Navent slides a few bills across the counter, looking down towards his hand he suddenly feels embarrassed about the cuts and bruises on his knuckles from the fight he got in earlier that night.  His face turned a bit red, and he shook his head a bit, his mop of chestnut hair falling back into his eyes.  Slicking his hair back he looks to Rayln and says "Looks like that's one Sidecar and one Sea Breeze." 

Navent paused for a moment, looked at Rayln and Rose, both ladies looked like their days were much rougher than his, he smiled and sighed to himself. "Come out here and have a drink with us Rayln,  I'll tend bar for you tonight."

He walked behind the bar and gently ushered Rayln out from behind the bar, took the rag and threw it over his shoulder.  As Navent grabbed the Vodka, and juice to make Rose 's  Sea Breeze, he asked the GodMother,  "So what will it be?"

Rae was ushered to the other side of the bar by the ever charming Navent and blinked a few times, her mouth open and closing in surprise. She was, for the first time in a long time, speechless. "Well..." she managed to say as she put the glasses she was holding down on the bar. "I suppose, uhm, Whiskey and soda, please." she told Navent before turning her attention to Rose giving the woman a quick and slightly awkward hug from her sitting position. "And I am so glad you found your way here." she told her friend, "I was starting to get lonely, sitting in my office alone all day going over numbers." she held her fingers up to her head, her hand shaped like a gun and mock pulled the trigger. 

After pouring the Vodka and cranberry juice into a highball glass, Navent cut a grapefruit in half.  He squeezed the juice of the grapefruit into the glass and gave it a light stir, garnishing the glass with a wedge of grapefruit he saved.  Giving a small laugh as Rayln shows her obvious distaste for accounting, he slides the drink to Rose.  With a smile and a wink, he tells her to enjoy the drink.

After a little searching around the bar he found the key lime he was searching for, he grabbed two key limes, one lemon, one stick of cinnamon, a bottle of soda water, and a bottle of finest Irish Whiskey.  After grabbing the tumbler, he poured in some of the soda water.  Then cutting into one of the limes and the lemons he squeezed both juices into the glass, gave the mixture a stir, then topped off the glass with the whiskey.  He takes the other, smaller lime, cuts of both ends and pushes the cinnamon stick through it, slicing into the lime and sticks it into the tumbler glass.

After grabbing a mug and filling it with the beer on tap he hands the mug to Insight. Navent then takes a look down the bar, and can't help but smile and sigh at the same time.  "You two ladies and gent, enjoy your drinks, it looks like I have some work to do."

Rae watched as Navent worked the bar. He made it look effortless, and she knew from first hand experience how difficult that could be. She picked up her drink and took a sip, smiling as she watched him move. "Not to shabby." she murmured to Rose sat beside her. She turned her attention to Insight and gave a little wave, "I don't believe we've been introduced." she said to him, "I'm Rayln." she smiled and nodded, "How do you know these two trouble makers?" she asked with a quick wink. 

Insight grabs the cold frosty glass and takes a sip

"Thanks Navent, really hits the spot" raises his glass

Insight turns to see a unfamiliar face waving at him, she approaches him and and introduces herself.

"yes, not formally, but I have heard much about you, I'm Insight, pleasure to meet you"

"ah, yes the trouble makers, well I just met Navent a couple days ago, as for Rose I met her through a mutual friend a couple years back, before the countries expansion out west"

"How did you happen to run across Rose and her loveable bunch Rayln?"

Watching Godmother Rayln's antics about the accounting she disliked with a passion, Rose shook her head in amusement.  Navent offered to tend the bar, and Rose watched in wonder as he prepared the drinks.  She turned her attention back to Godmother Rayln then embraced her in a hug, then smiled as she spoke.

"Thanks.  I am glad I found the place too!  This day was dreadful, and I for one am glad it is over."

Rose reached for the Sea Breeze Navent just placed in front of her, and took a slow sip indulging in the mixture of flavors.

"Wow Navent!  This is fabulous!  Mixed to perfection."

Her shoulders seemed to relax a bit more after taking another slow sip.  Rose tilted her head to the left then the right, loosening the tension in her neck.  She watched Navent handle the drinks with ease, moving to handle a couple other customers after sliding Rayln her drink, and Insight his beer.  Rose smiled as the thought of beer reminded her of someone she worked with from time to time, pulling off a few organized crimes. She was in charge of supplying Porkchop with the beer, and he in turn would show up.  Not guaranteeing any success, but he showed up.

Rose took a long sip of the Sea Breeze, and began feeling relaxed enough to ignore the ruined dress.  As the conversation ensued, acquaintances were made, Navent seemed to be flying back and forth fetching drink ingredients, mixing concoctions left and right. He made it look ...well just made it look so easy!  Upon hearing Godmother Rayln call her and Navent troublemakers, Rose laughed while taking another drink then began to cough while patting her hand over her throat and chest.

"I am only a troublemaker on days ending in Y."

Rose nodded as she was able to catch her breath just then.  There was no use trying to convince Insight she wasn't a troublemaker because he known her forever it seemed.  Back in the old days when she was brand new to this life of theirs, hanging around with TurkeyBear, Lily, Sprechstallmeister, Tyrael, TheBootyBandit and a few other wild characters.  Most of her friends had tamed down, grew up and matured, some even running families of their own.  This night was already on the way to a better ending, and being surrounded by her friends made it that much more enjoyable.

After taking a late flight into Detroit, Tyrael looks down on his phone to see the message he got

"Rae's place in DT, don't come if you are a tame pussy, <3 Rose"

He smiles to himself, always the one wih the lovely invitations that are just well to hard to resist. After checking google maps to find the trendy place owned by the GodMother of his home city Tyrael decides that a drink would suit him just fine and after checking the address hauls a cab over to be brought to the place without further delay.

After a short, but rather akward Taxi drive, the driver was going on about how the neighborhood was going to waste with one of the respected district heads being caught by the IRS was now being taken out of business Tyrael manages to pay the annoying driver and rush out of the car.

AAHHH finally, i thought this hell was never gonna end, alright the place looks pretty awesome, just the place where I expect these girls to be hanging out

He takes a quick peak inside from the window, but due to the tinted glass can't see too much. With a sigh of apprehension he opens the door and is hit with a slight citrus smell hanging in the bar, Too bad no bananas here he thinks to himself and tells Stuart to wait outside, the place looks safe. He walks towards the bar and very soon he is able to spot both of the ladies he was anticipating to find from the back. Rayln, dressed casually straight from her HQ and Rose wearing a sexy and still not overtly revealing attire.

Hello ladies, i received the invite, what's up with being lame??? I've been pretty busy getting my business set up in LA and I'm working on getting a 2nd venue set up in NY, it takes a lot of effort putting these little guys to work without blowing up stuff

He nods to the bartender and orders a Long Island Ice tea and sits down on the barstool next to Rose and gives a wide happy smile to both of the ladies

She was lost in thought giggling at things Godmother Rayln was saying as they watched Navent move back and forth between customers. She felt a little sad for him because Rose knew Navent was exhausted as well from a long day, and the customers seemed to keep rolling in at a steady pace.  As she took another sip of the drink, there was a small commotion near the doorway, so Rose glanced over in that direction.  She smiled as she recognized Tyrael entering the bar.  

Rose waved him over to join their small group.  As Tyrael approached, she heard him mumbling about someone being lame or something, and she had no clue what that was all about.

"A new business hmm?  Sounds good.  Next time I am in Los Angeles I will stop by and check it out." 

She placed her elbow onto the bar top before asking about some message.

"Now what's up with this message?  Didn't Stuart let you know if you were available this evening, we would love it if you came by?"

Rose smiled in return, but her smile grew as she realized that perhaps her message wasn't given exactly word for word.  Stuart must have improvised a bit.  She shook her head in amusement knowing he could be reprimanded.

Tyrael smiles as he hears Rose explain the message he got from his faithful servant

Hehe I should've known the little troublemaker he is, I just don't know how they manage to do all those fancy electronical thingies, they say the made it based on the plans of some guy called einstein or something, but i don't know the guy. Well i'm glad you guys were looking forward to my company. Seems like a great place, nice job Rayln, i can see your personality in the decor and the nice soul jazzy music in the background.

He glances over to the bartender and raises his eyebrows, the guy looks exhausted indeed, better get my drink before he passes out

Hey Navent, how's my drink coming along?? A little parched over here :(

Vile walks inside the bar and looks around.

Hmm, pretty neat. A wide variety of drinks to choose. A "Johnny" would be nice.

Vile orders some J.Walker and sits in an empty corner seat not minding the people in there.

Ahhh, whisky. Haven't been in a bar in so long. This is going to be a good night. 

The day that didn't seem like it would end, just kept going well into the night as Navent happily tended bar for GodMother Rayln. He saw Tyrael and Vile- come in, but he had a number of customers before them.  He swiftly moved through the orders with a smile, getting to Vile-'s drink and Tyrael's drink.  He quickly poured a double shot of Johnny Walker into a tumbler and had the waitress take it over to Vile-.    Navent walks over to the place at the bar where his friends are gathered. 

He grabbed a shaker, added some ice, then poured equal amounts of Vodka, Gin, Rum, and Triple Sec.  He grabbed the Sweet & Sour mix and added a bit more that he did for each of the alcohols. Finally he opened a bottle of Coca-Cola, and added a splash of the cola for colour and flavor.  After giving the concoction a quick shake, he poured it's contents into a glass and slid it over to Tyrael.  "Here ya go mate, enjoy."

He walked over to Rayln, and handed her his earnings, and tips for the day. "Rayln love, here's the money and tips from the evening.  As well as a two ladies numbers and some random bloke's number." Navent laughed as he slid the money the GodMother's direction, and turned his attention to Rose and Insight.  "How are your drinks?  Either of you need a refill?"

T4NC's right hand man, took advantage of the down time and mixes up his own SideCar and, finally, takes a seat for himself.

She chuckled as Tyrael fully understood the mishap in the message delivery.  Picking up the near empty glass, Rose took one last long sip before the what was left of the ice rattled at the bottom of the glass.  She set the glass back on the counter top then glanced around the now crowded bar. Her gaze landed on Vile-, so she waved as the waitress had left his drink, but he must not have seen her.  Rose turned her attention back to Navent as he walked towards them.  She frowned slightly seeing how tired he seemed.  He was quite the bartender though.

As soon as Tyrael was given his drink, Rose shook her head declining the offer of a refill at that time.  She best pace herself before she fell off her seat.  The dress was already ruined, so must not ruin her dignity as well by getting drunk enough to fall over.  Rose wasn't ecstatic about getting off her seat, but she couldn't hide the damn ruined dress forever.  

"Nothing more at the moment Navent for me thanks.  You're exhausted why don't you have a seat here, and I shall be right back.  I see someone I know."

Rose scooted off her seat with as much graceful movements as she was able at the moment then smoothed her dress out.  She made her way across the bar to Vile-'s table.  Smiling as he looked up in surprise upon seeing her there.

"Vile-!  You didn't tell me you were in Detroit already.  A few friends are gathered at the bar, would you care to join us?  Of course you would! Vieni con me.  Come. Come.  You can formally meet Godmother Rayln of New York."

Rose waited for Vile- to collect his drink before she slid her arm through his tugging him to join their gathering.  While she waited until a few of the people crowding them moved from their path, Rose tilted her head to the left trying to catch a better glimpse of the gentleman across the bar.  He then turned towards his companion, and Rose had a better view of his face.  No.  It wasn't who she thought, but she wasn't sure why Jaysanity would be in Detroit too.  What were the odds of that happening all in the same night.

She took the opportunity to head back towards the bar since the crowd had parted some.  With Vile- in tow, she moved to sit in an open seat waving for him to sit next to her.  Rose snagged Godmother Rayln's attention.

"Vile- I don't know if you have met Godmother Rayln yet."

Surprised to see Rose in the bar with her beautiful dress, Vile almost spilled his drink  when Rose tugged his arm.

Rosey-Rose! I thought you were in LA? And where are you taking me?

Without muttering a single word, Rose continued to stroll on her path back to the bar but paused for a bit to look around thinking that she saw someone familiar. At the bar they met Godmother Rayln who's busy attending to her customers.

Rose asked Vile if she had met her.

I haven't met her, but I've seen her before while we were still on New York.

After Rose got Godmother Rayln's attention, Vile introduced himself nervously.

P-Pardon our intrusions Godmother, and l-let me introduce myself. I'm Vile, nephew to Mr. Kartman, and a member of the Kingdom Hearts. I'm sorry, I'm quite nervous as it's my f-first time meeting you in person.

After hearing his introduction, Godmother Rayln smiled and signaled to them to resume their activites because the bar is busy at this hour. Rose took Vile again to anther table where she waits for her friends to arrive.

As he was waiting for his drink Tyrael had his eyes open in the bar looking for more familiar faces or friendly faces he would want to introduce himself into. As he saw Navent use his flamboyant bar skills to make Tyrael some nice and strong ice tea he couldn't wait to taste

Ahh, tastes like heaven my best man, I should talk to Rayln about getting you a raise.. Ah you don't work here, damn then for sure we should tell Rayln to consider hiring you, although I can see the hours can be killing around here. You have been in this business before since making a cocktail this awesome, damn.

As Tyrael is enjoying and complimenting the bartender he sees Rose get off her stool, take a few unsure steps before securing herself and walk over to some character sitting in a table in the back, but is he seeing it correctly, isn't the table next to it with a familar, but very new face in these parts: Ah yes he can see it clearly now, it's @Ozio, another enthusiastic gunman who roled into town a few days ago who came to the chosen HQ to get some jobs assigned to. Better go say hi to him, Tyrael grabs his drink and walks over to Ozio

Hey, bud, what ya drinking there?

As he was just starting to talk to @Ozio, he noticed one of his fellow family members Ajay walking up to the table. Tyrael gestured to come join them and he introduced them to each other, the man shook hands and sat down looking eagerly to Tyrael to make some conversation.

So men, both of you have been very kind to me lately, many nice dialogues we've had, I hope we all agree that being active on the streets and meeting people is something we all have in common. So here's the thing, I opened this shop in LA, it needs some more customers and personal advertisement within the streets, I got all them nice exotic animals but they are happier when they have nice owners

Tyrael slides them some pamflets and address information to the lads, and looks at them expantly, hoping they'll come over soon and tell other folk about it

Insight snaps out of it

"Sorry Tyrael, just kinda spaced out a bit. Yea I'll have another beer please, also what was that you served me? That was pretty decent!"

"Rose you should try a bit" Insight smirks sarcastically.

Reachng into his inside jacket pocket and pulling out his tin, opens it up and pulls out a cigar

"Anyone interested in a smoke before I put them away?"

Rose glanced around the bar for an open table for everyone to congregate to while she waited for Vile- and Godmother Rayln to become better acquainted.  Insight motioned towards his beer thanking Tyrael, but Rose stifled a giggle knowing he got people mixed up.  She shook her head thinking perhaps that was a strong brew right there, or maybe he was just that exhausted.

"No thank you.  I wouldn't drink beer if I was dying of thirst sciocco uomo!"

Shivering slightly just to tease Insight regarding his beer, Rose leans against the bar giving Insight a pat on the back.
