He pulled the vodka back not too unhappy that he'd get to keep drinking. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." He sat, head hung a little and continued to drink. "Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear me, happy birthday to me." |

She reached over and grabbed a pirate hat and put it on the sad little ginger's head. "Cheer up, buttercup. I'm not going to charge you for that vodka." She told him with a small smile. She reached for her drink and frowned when she realized it was empty. She grabbed the bottle and topped off her glass. Raising it she said, "To you and your 65th birthday." She told him. |

"65! That's cheeky! I'm not a day over 35!" He held his glass aloft for the toast none-the-less, her heart was pure gold, it was why he liked her so much. "To me and my birthday and you and you flourishing business." He knocked it back and almost choked, his head was starting to spin a little and he could feel the heat behind his eyes. "Can we get some peanuts over here? And yes I eat peanuts as well as the shells!" |

Glad that Rae had explained his 'issue' with alcohol before he had even opened his mother, the brunette only nodded, as if reaffirming the fact. "Ah christ, stop with the young jokes," he replied, though Nixe's tone wasn't angry. More like borderline.. miffed. Yes, miffed was the correct way to describe the atmosphere surrounding the youngster. "Otherwise that makes you fifty." |

"Can I interest you in a cookie to go with your tea young man?" Trevor lit a cigarette and blew smoke into the air. "I'm only joking, your age is no issue here. Only with regards to drinking laws I suppose." He pulled the pirate hat down over his eyes. "I need a parrot to go with this, Rayln." |

Cousin Trevor had suddenly dropped dead as new Trevor found his way to the bar, he looked down at the man now bleeding out all over the floor and casually moved him to the side. "Seems he wasn't very well liked.. Can't think why. Such a sane fella." Reaching for a half empty bottle of vodka on the side he took a seat at the bar. "Anyone see who did that? No? Pity." No on even seemed to have noticed so far, a dead man bleeding out like a pig. He didn't smell yet but it wouldn't be long. |

Fresh off the plane to conduct his business ventures, Harvey butted his cigarette on the brick wall and crossed the street. He spotted the Neverland Bar and made his way to the entrance. He admired the craftsmanship of the place and the surrounding decor. He shifted his way through the dancing crowd and found an empty cannon-stool. He motioned a Rayln that he was ready for drink. "My, my, a fantastic place you got here, Miss Rayln." Harvey said, nodding to the barkeep. "I'm really not the dancing type, I'll just have a drink for now." Harvey scratched his head for a moment. "I will have a glass of Green River. On the rocks." |

| "Trevor, be a dear and dispose of the body." She said before smiling at the man who just came in. "Why thank you." She said as she reached for a glass. "Not that I like to brag," She paused and then grinned as she grabbed the bottle he requested and poured some for the man, "aomectually, that's aomectually lie. I absolutely adore bragging." She said with a laugh as ashe slid the glass to him. "But we're amazingly pleased with how this place turned out." She told him. "I mean zizi is so pleased with it she has been holed up in the office for weeks now." She said with a wink. | |

"Certainly ma'am." For a split second there was something commanding, something dangerous in her voice. "I'll get that don't right away." He almost stood to attention and saluted her but instead he nodded to the guy that had just entered and dragged the body by the feet out into the back to haul into the dumpster for disposal later that evening. Moving bodies in broad daylight was never a smart move and the back of Neverland was an enclosed space, no one could see in, the body would be fine there until darkness fell. Returning with a bucket and a mop, he started the process of cleaning the floors. "He was a lot heavier than he looked." He said through a chuckle. Disposing of bodies was a grim business so he liked to keep a sense of humour about it as much as possible. "What on earth had they been feeding him?" |

Although it was early in the morning, the Neverland Bar was full of people. Miss_Niki looked around and saw several people she knew. She wasn't much in the mood for socializing, as she had to fly to Detroit to hunt down and kill NealTonelson this morning for breaking into the HQ and stealing a signed picture of Rita_Hayworth and Spencer Tracy when they did Dante's Inferno. It had been one of Rita's first movies. Neal had managed to take a swing on Miss_Niki and she was now sporting a swollen jaw. No matter, it would heal up just fine, it always did. Miss_Niki ordered a Whiskey Sour as she checked her timepiece. She had a drug deal to do soon with the local vendor, she wanted to get it at a good price so she could fly back to New York this afternoon. |

Nixe honestly couldn't remember whether or not he had ordered tea. Did I? The male thought to himself, blatant confusion filtering onto his soft features. Honestly, his memory was horrid. Half the time he forgot where he was walking to in the midst of heading there. Practically a motherfucking goldish, he was. With a sigh, the youngster laid his head down upon the wooden counter. He was suddenly stricken by a bout of tiredness, an achy, lethargic feeling that had finally caught up to his weary bones. You travel too much, his brain whispered. I like to see my friends, was Nixe's silent rebuttal. |

He'd just finished mopping up when a new visitor arrived, a woman sat not far from a young man, seemingly unconnected to each other. This place certainly saw a decent amount of foot traffic and it wasn't any wonder, the owner had gone to great lengths to make it stand out amongst the more run-of-the-mill establishments in town. It truly was a sight to behold and now that the mess had been cleaned up no one would be any wiser to what had just happened here. Perfect. Trevor hustled the mop out the back and returned to the bar where he sat next to the gentleman and extended a hand, "I'm Trevor.." He said with a smile, or at least as good a smile as his crooked face would allow. Mouth and teeth hidden largely by an overgrown ginger beard the most noticeable way to know if he was smiling or not was by the crows feet by each eye. Friendly enough by nature he hoped to make some new people in this part of the city. "Sorry Rayln, could I get a beer when you're ready? Cleaning up that mess has left me feeling rather parched and that vodka.." He pointed to the bottle still hanging out on the bar, "I believe belonged to the recently deceased." He quickly made a sign of the cross before making himself more comfortable on the stool. |

Miss_Niki turned her head as she heard a man speak, "I'm Trevor". She looked into the bluest eyes she had ever seen. "Hi Trevor, I'm Niki, pleased to make your acquaintance. I've got flight out in 30 minutes.. My apologies for not being able to stay and chat with you. But, I have to get back to the office. I have some supplies that need delivered right away. I work for the New York Production Company. I'm sure you've heard of it.. Rita_Hayworth is my boss. Maybe sometime if you are ever in New York, you can look me up. I'll buy you a drink." Niki smiled at Trevor, thinking just how cute he would be if he would trim his beard. It kind of made him look like a lumberjack. "I've got to be going now, mustn't be late for my flight....very nice meeting you, Trevor." Niki shook his hand, as she grabbed her "supplies" and walked out the door. She pulled up her collar because the air was getting chilly in Detroit, and headed for the airport. |

"Nice to meet you too.." The lady was up and gone before he could finish. "..whoever you are." He turned to the fella sitting next to him. "You know that woman?" This guy seemed distracted, his thoughts seemingly somewhere else. It was OK though, Trevor sat and waited for his beer, he'd worked up quite a thirst since this morning. He wasn't a big drinker as such but from time to time after a hard days work it was nice to settle down to a nice cold one. |

Rayln grabbed a pint glass and poured a beer for Magical-Trevor. "You know, you look an awful lot like your cousin." she told him as she tilted the glass and pulled the handle down on the tap. She looked at the woman who came in and nodded her head, but realized she probably didn't want to talk much. By the time she had finished pouring the drink and listening to the woman talk to Trevor the woman quickly got up and walked out. "Hum." she said as she set the glass down. She walked over to where the woman was sitting and picked up the money she had left there. "Well, at least she paid." she said. |

Ronin was in Detroit on some important business for Godfather Kimble, but had a little bit of free time on his hands. He decided to visit the establishment of one of his most recent correspondents he had employed at the Times. He had yet to meet her in person, but was excited to have her on the team. Her resume was quite impressive. It certainly wasn't the type of establishment he would normally be found in. He preferred dive bars; run down, quiet, dark. It was easier to stay in the shadows in those type of places. And you heard things. He could learn a lot about a neighborhood just by sitting in a corner sipping on a beer. He did not lower the hood of his cloak as he walked in. Most of the patrons were occupied with dance partners and the like, no one seemed to notice him as he silently glided to a small table in the back corner of the club. The music was loud and upbeat - which to him was like nails on a chalkboard. He sat there in his corner, knowing no one would recognize him, but hoping someone would be of service before long. |

It had been a long day and Ilammo found himself back at the Neverland Bar. It was packed as ever, with laughter and chitchat filling the entire premise. He was in Detroit for some business and wanted to find some place to kick back and relax after a hard day's work, and there was no better place than this. He found himself a comfortable spot right beside the window and settled in. Waving for the waiter, he ordered his usual beverage, a glass of warm milk. Rae was busy attending to other customers, so he wouldn't want to bother her. Ilammo noticed a hooded figure sitting by himself at the back of the bar and scratched his head, squinting his eyes in the process. "Now that's new," Ilammo mumbled to himself. |

Rae saw the cloaked man enter and smiled at the people at the bar, "If you will excuse me for a moment..." she said as she grabbed a menu and nimbly hopped over the bar, heading over to the dark corner where the man had sat. "You know," she said as she got close enough for him to hear her, "I go through all this trouble to decorate and make the place inviting and you pick to sit as far away from everything as possible." she told the man as she set the menu down in front of him. She gave a shake of the head, "And I know its cold outside, but why are you wearing a cloak of all things?" she asked before gasping, "Oh, are you a vampire?" she added before chuckling. |

Ronin smiled at Rae's usual playful banter. "You know damn well I'm not part of the 'normal crowd' around here. And I'll drop dead before I go dancing." He took the menu and had a look. Nothing really piqued his interest much. A lot of fruity drinks and shit. "I hope you have whiskey? I'm not much of a mixed drink man, to be honest." |
